This was my first ever Kirby game I beat, I was about five years old. The remaster is ever better, the fact that they used the original boss music and super ability animations for the final fight brings back decade old nostalgia. I love it!
It's a nice detail that the super abilities in the magalor boss fight all have their original animations when you collect them, imo it makes Kirby feel like he is serious with what he's about to do

I'd just like to mention that people haven't noticed that the music has had slight improvements in sound quality compared to the original. You can especially hear it in the another dimension track.

@emptyglass7867 If you compare the tracks side by side you can notice a small difference. For example the choir in crowned and the electric guitar in another dimension and in VS magolor. Also the music in general just sounds less muddy than the original. (the original wasn't that muddy though so the difference isn't huge). You can hear the difference in muddyness particularly in the percussion.

He was always alive. In a later released kirby game Magalor said "i know things were pretty hectic when i first arrived, but thats all in the past now. I changed thanks to kirby" or something like that. Now we just have the epilouge, basically his redemption arc.
That was already confirmed in the original game. There was a cutscene that plays after the final fight that was intended to confirm he survived, how did people not know this?
My god this is freaking amazing! They kept the old animations in the original and they made the final boss really beautiful to look at with its backgrounds and attacks. I also just love that they used Kirby’s voice to deliver the final blow and remade his final smash voice. Hal Laboratory did an amazing job as always. Can’t wait to see what’s more in store for the little pink puff ball.
The nostalgia!!! The memories are flashing back! I remember I was in middle school and my brother wasn't old enough to read yet, so when this cutscene came up I was in charge of reading it out loud. The thing is for this scene I read it first in my head and expectantly I shouted out loud "[Wait] WHAT!?" whereas my brother looked confused at me and asked "What???" I then read the lines out loud and of course he then shouted out his own "WHAT?!" XD Childhood memories
This was pure nostalgia to me, even if it's a remake! I know when I hopefully get this as an early easter gift, I'm so gonna do everything that is nostalgic first, and then do the other things, for nostalgic reasons! It seriously would be epic to do everything from the original thing and then move to the new things! I'll do that when I get it cause I find it my tradition for new remakes!

Taking the fact that these are basically 1-1 to the OG cutscenes, this would mean either the entirety of Magolor Epilogue occured inside Magolor's possesed body, during the Magolor Soul bossfight, or, magolor was instantly back because the time spent in Magolor Epilogue wasn't relative to realtime. Or both.
@@andrewvanover9747 I played the original again recently and I can confirm that both the Main and EX Form's Black Holes do swirl the background. The first form does not but the 2nd form of both Main and EX do.
y'know I can't see the "Let Me Explain Everything" cutscene anymore without thinking of my stupid mod that changes the text to Eggman's moon piss rant in the SA2 Dark Story dub I'm so looking forward to modding this. EDIT: I just noticed that the original spin for the Super Abilities is used instead of the custom flourishes; almost like Kirby doesn't have time to be flashy when he's focused on beating up Magolor
The fact that they use the old animation for picking up Super Abilities in this fight is just the cherry on top

Actually, the portal slowly moves closer through the fights themselves, it just jumped forwards in the Wii version.
