Around 10 lakh candidates appear every year for JEE Mains. Around 2 lakh candidates who qualified for this JEE Main were eligible for the JEE Advanced examination. Around 20000 candidates qualify, out of which only 10000 candidates get success to get seat in 23 different IITs.

There are 23 IITs in India. IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology. Tarar ji mistakenly called it IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology). IITs have all branches related to Engineering.
I studied at IIIT, these institutes are mostly ece, cse, it focused. You are right. However these institutes are computer science research hub, its very mathematical and rigorous.

Excellent Sajid Tarar, at his best. Cheema sahib, though I am an Indian, but I get a feeling that Pakistani politicians are at fault for the present mess in Pakistan. They have made container load of money and stashed out of Pakistan and purposely don’t want Pakistani awaam to prosper and progress, which can come only through quality education. India was no different years back, politicians were corrupt and some of them still are, but Indian policies were firm and stable with no compromises which allowed economic prosperity

Dear Sajid Tarar sab, it is Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Ofcourse, there are institutes in the name of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) also. Your observation is correct in case of IITs.
India also have very good institutes in the name of Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) where admission is highly competitive. All these institutions create world best candidates in the respective fields.
In addition, there are, arround, 3000 engineering colleges, 300 medical colleges, 750 business schools and 250 univercities in government and private sector in India.
Lakhs of qualitative professionals from all fields every year are being added in the economy for internal and international utility.
This is huge effort put in by India which helps whole world.
Lakhs of students are studying in USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries, every year, helping the economy of those countries and serving as ambassadors of India. India may have officially one ambassador in each of those countries but unofficially there are thousands of ambassadors in the form of Indian diaspora.
