Ballast train duty on the Loys & Woodland Creek.

After laying track and doing fun runs. It was time to get serious and start ballasting the line. I was placed on engineer duty for the run. Enjoy the first time we hauled the hopper car ever.

we found that a 2 i9nch square in front of the rear wheels spread the ballast and cleaned the top of the rails.
