Great guide! I'd like to add that tier 5 of catlike adds additional jumping height, which is also really nice to have, especially for drifter JJ's.

I forgot to mention, yeah. Absolutely agreed on its use - although, I should note, it's harder to jump through windows with it, I find.

You just gotta remember to jump early and at an angle. I usually forget at crucial moments if I've gone a few days without playing any Catlike-equipped builds.

Maxed drifters will gain the most height out of all the jet packs, obviously alot slower...
I would Reccomend maxing out catlike and using drifters as they are much more versatile with the jump boost and the biggest thing you ever need to scale without a lift is 2 floors

Impulse grenade makes drifter downside avoidable

When I was a noob about 50% of all my kills were C4 LA kills lol. I'd run C4 often even if there wasnt a situational or vehicle threat around, even some 1v1's I'd utilize C4 regularly (or try🙄). I thought I was tough lol even though I'd always run from Agent Smith. I was actually a 1 trick pony looking back, but I was having fun. Nowadays I keep 1 LA C4 loadout ready for the occasional vehicle, Max threat or situational use. Years & years later, after getting more proficient in gun play, aim, maneuverability and other classes...like Neo I dont run from an Agent Smith anymore lol and often fair well. Some sessions I barely even run LA...my how things change.

I run adrenalin pump when avaiable, exept if I'm going for ASC and Survivor (good on light assault, amazing on engineer). Other implant I like to have on light assault is covert drop, but most practical would probably be scavenger in case I don't have time to reload. I often find myself on situations where I'm battling with pistol only because both of my weapons are not reloaded, having that can help me get one or two more mags out of my carbine.
I like regeneration if I'm running C4, and if I am running c4 I can probably use some flak armor too. Flight suit is pretty nice on ambushers and niche on drifters.

For carbine recommendations, I'd say the GD-7F is at least as good as the bandit, if not better. And Icarus jets are nearly always better than skirmishers, especially with impulse nades, so I'd recommend learning them.

      Fair on GD-7F.
Icarus I can see your point, but I'd argue they demand a little too much game knowledge and skill for newer players.

Been playing light assault more and trying to complete the carbine challenge to get that lovely Newton. Been dying so much but I'm getting 1-9 kills every death. High ground is key to fighting the heavy meta. Granted one of the ns weapons I have 300 kills with is so tedious to kill with. I just hope the end result is worth it rip.

      Newton's good, promise.
