I broke down and bought the FORCE USA G12 ALL-IN-ONE TRAINER this year. I am glad I did it. At age 70, I am training at home. Muscles are coming back as well as strength. Last year in August I could not even do ONE pushep. I can now do 40!
For the preacher curls, just use the bench. Put it on a 45 degree angle, have the foot of the bench facing one of the functional trainer pulleys and rest your arm where your head goes.
You need to have a look at the hypertrophy coach channel. He trains Terrence ruffin second place Mr Olympia and half their push workout is incline Smith and a cable chest press
What do you think about the smith machine? It's not counter balanced. How does it feel? Everything else I like. Its just that my gf would want something easier to start with the smith and light but its not counterbalanced so it will feel heavier for her. It's the only thing I'm not feeling down about it. Your thoughts?
Liked the video. I am looking to get the G6 or the G12. With the 2-1 ratio of the G6 do you think there is enough weight. If you where to pick one over the other G6 vs G12 what would you pick. I look forward to ordering mine soon.
For the incline plated loaded mashine. Ptx360 has an attachment where you can do that. There is a possibility where force usa might have that attachment as well look it up. Nice video man.
@@wideopen1320 yes. It's called jammer arms which is an attachment. The types of workouts that you can do will multiply. You will even do like a loaded bench press. It's a must have for a home gym.
I purchased French Fitness FSR80 and it is a night mare machine. If space is not a issue, I will recommended buying functional trainer and smith machine separately (from Titan Fitness). If any of you have any thoughts, please share. Thank you
Do you find that your plates seem to weigh more than they actually are? I have the G12 and when I use plates for tricep pull downs for instance I can put the pin on 20lbs but it feels like I’m pulling 35-40lbs
On the G6 I don’t find that to be the case when using the weight stack. However, the smith machine is definitely heavier than the ones I use in the gym(s)
Lol, that is the reality of trying to do presses on the functional trainer. I have not figured out how to get between the bar and bench properly and always end up having to do some funky movement to get in there.
I have the g6 i dont have a lot of good things to say about this machine as much as you do lol. On a side note titan t2 series attachments fit perfectly on here.
@@predragnovakovic8414 the g20 has smaller hole so no. I can only speak for the g6 the holes are standard 1 inch holes which the new titan t2 series attachments fit.
@@predragnovakovic8414 honestly if I had known the quality of force usa i wouldn't have bought it. The steel is thin especially the up rights, the attachments are cheap aside from the leg press. The j hooks on the g6 and g12 are the worse they have a bolt head in the way and dings your barbell when re racking. I had to buy new jcups and spotters arms because the ones it came with suck . Force usa is not worth the price it is marcy quality. The prime fitness hlp all in one rack all in one is the one I would go for of I were to do it all over. And that's made in the USA

Brilliant video. Love the self honesty about the stupid move. Shocked by low number of views. Greetings from London Uk

Yes! I thought about that after putting up the video of course 😂
you could’ve just un clipped the bar🤣🤣 u funny asf bro 8:57
Greg friggin Jennings?!
@wideopen1320 which gym are you training in, in the first scenes of this video?
You can do preacher curls using your weight bench standing up.
Thanks for showing the challenges of utilizing the machine. Very helpful.

Great comparison. Thanks for taking the time.

I actually love the smith. It’s the reason I got the G6. It’s super smooth and I train my kids and wife in it as well
@@wideopen1320 really! That makes me happy to hear that!
"The most efficient way to move weight..." to funny. I was wondering why ya didnt take weights off first. Great video.
I was being ignorant 😆
Nice breakdown. For the T-Bar rows a lot of people are using those Angle90 grip handles for more natural movements

I need to look 👀 into that

I think you should add powertec levergym to compliment your g6. Vice versa I need a g6 for my powertec.
Hey bro give me your honest opinion, is safe buy of this website, they dont have an local showroom, im in Puerto Rico im interesting in the G6 or G12
Oh shit its greg jennings
T bar rows are good with the landmine attachment
Trying to decide between the g6 and the g9. How much do you value the weight stack, since I'd have to buy the plates for the smith machine anyway?
The weight stack is definitely a plus with it being so easy to adjust weight pending your exercise choice.
I’ve also been told that the plate-loaded cables get very shaky and not smooth once you get close to 75-100 pounds
Great review ❤

Why is it a nightmare?
Debating between French fitness, USA force, bolt and jacked up rack
I believe it has a land mind add-on that would allow you to do a T-bar row. Try that out! Great review.
You look just like Greg Jennings.

With the preacher curls is there a way to use your incline bench.
With the functional trainer?

I thought I was the only one lol
I have just ordered the g9, I’m planning to use the j hooks on the front posts and a separate barbell for a normal bench press. Will this work?
Thank you for the info!
Use your bench facing away from you for preacher curls 💪
Hi, can i get high the weight at the Machine
does this unit have arms attachments this brand
Can we get a 1 year updated review 🙏

Where did you find that t-shirt???
My wife got it for me. I have no idea 😆
You'll have thank your wife for her great purchase.
Thank u guys I think I will stay away from force usa then
So you spent thousands on a machine that you prefer not to use and keep paying for the gym membership? 😐🤨
Options my friend. When I can’t get to the gym this is awesome. But I primarily use it to train my kids and wife.
