Gus could run and push tempo and had a killer pop up jump shot, and DJ still had his young, bouncy legs, would drive the baseline and throw down on people and led the NBA that year in shots blocked by a guard. Mookie -> Amazing pick. I think for 90s Mookie were a better defender than Gary. Cuz Gary's defense were a bit sloppy its all over the place it's annoying but bearable. On the other thand for Mookie his like a precise sniper at defensive end imo
    DJ -> Great choice but imo the most underrated Celtics player Tommy Heinsohn
    For NETS -> Micheal Ray Richardson is the most underrated.
    Hornets -> Wesley underrated criminaly for sure. But I think Antony Mason is the most underrated
    Bulls -> Liked ur pick. Gilmore is great pick. If I had to pick another It would be Luol Deng or Krik Hinrich
    Dallas -> Rolando is forgotten and that's a crime but even tho he played 3,5 year as Maverick I think Jamal Mashburn is the most underrated. We can make a case for Mashburn's Hornets years too
    Nuggets -> Nice Pick but Thompson earased himself from the game cuz of his addiction problems. That's why my pick is Marcus Camby
    Pistons -> Vinne The Microwave is a nice pick but I would've pick Lindsey Hunter
    Thurmond -> One of the most underrated Centers ever.
    Rockets -> Thorpe is a nice pick. But I think people really underrates Sir Charles's Rockets years. Ralph Sampson and Vernon Maxwell are also fine cases for that
    Pacers -> I think it's a poor pick cuz Davis were a solid role player there aint nothing to rate him "higher than he is" . I think Detlef Shrempfg and Jamal Tinsley are better cases. But Mark Jackson and Derrick McKEy maybe even better compare to Dale.
    Clippers -> Clippers full of these; Odom, Brand, Ron Harper, Loy Vaught, Danny Manning lots of and lots of underrated talents. I'm ok with Harper.
    Lakers -> Goodrich is a great pick. If I have to choose someone different that would be Lamar Odom. People really overlook his contribution of late 2000s Lakers in Triangle Offense.
    Memphis -> Miller aint able to play properly due to season killing injuries. So its kinda natural to overlook him (like David Thompson's case) cuz of that imo most underrated Memphis players are Zach Randolph and Mike Conley.
    Heat -> Haslem ?Seriously ? Haslem is one of the most respected and the most protected players in Heat's franchise history. Compare to his game ? That's too much. He aint underrated at all. Glen Rice, Ron Seikaly, Jamal Mashburn (yes again), 2006-2008 Alonzo Mourning, Voshon Lenard are better choices Also Jason Williams's Heat seasons are super underrated. Cuz Payton didnt get along with Wade and he had lots of injuries. Williams played more than Payton for the team. And it was his most efficient years.
    Bucks -> Moncrief great pick.
    Timberwolves -> Brandon is generally one of the most underrated guards of late 90s and early 2000s. Good pick. If I have to chose another one Tom Gugliotta and Sam Mitchell
    New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans -> Chandler Nice Pick
    NYK -> Anthony Mason. I think Anthony Mason's best years happened in Charloote Hornets cuz of that you would've picked him there. Earl Monroe could be the best pick for NYK
    Supersonics/Thunder -> Schrempf goof pick.
    Orlando -> It's either Darrel Armstrong or Hedo Turkoglu. Not even clsoe. Dennis Scott not a good choice imo.
    Sixers -> This team has sooo much talent thru it's history its hard to definre the most underrated one. Cunningham sounds OK. But due to what he accomplished I think Moses Malone still the most underrated superstar center of all time.
    Suns -> Marion is a great pick. Actually Marion were underrated at everywhere he go. We can make a case for his Dallas years too, he was that good. If I had to chose one other that would be Kevin Johnson. People think Payton is tne 2nd best 90s PG and Tim Hardaway is the 3rd best 90s PG.
    Well Kevin Johnson were better than both and only second to Stockton actually.
    Portland -> Portland's history full with talent packed rosters/teams. Late 70s around Bill Walton and Lucas. Late 80s early 90s around Drexler. Late 90s and Early 2000s around Wallace
    Mid 00s around Randolph then late 2000s aroujnd Brandon Roy.
    And all of these teams were full with talent. Portland always the team that never had a Big 3 but always had too many talented players. Cuz of that there are lots and lots of underrated players.
    Porter is a good pick but it could've been Zach Randolph, It could've been Stoudmire or Sabonis, It could've been Jerome Kersey or Cliff Robinson or it would've been JJ Hİckson I mean soooo many.
    Kings -> Stojakovic is good pick. Mitch Richmond can be named too
    Spurs -> Sean Elliot greaaat pick.
    Raptors -> Davis is a fine pick but I would've go with Jose Calderon
    Jazz -> Kirilenko is a great pick but imo players like Adrien Dantley, Mehmet Okur, Jeff Hornacek are even more underrated imo.
    Wizards/Bullets -> Jeff Malone is a fine pick and definitely underrated but imo compare to what he accomplished I think Elvin Hayes gets so little recognition. Also MJ's wizards years are criminally underrated.

      So many guys u mentioned lol. Jeff hornacek gets disrespected by people especially Bron fans who call him a plumber and a bum. He was a all star and was a great 3pt shooter, won the 3pt contest 2 times while going against reggie Miller glen rice and dirk. As a raptors fan Jose was underrated and was efficient even had the best free throw percentage in the league.

      @@laupis2559 you are correct. But time dulls all accomplishment. Well, most. We have in place things that record greatness. One of those things being ther halls of fame. Even if few people know of him, they still know what hall of fame means. In another couple generations, no one is really going to know the Beatles. There are so many underrated players in the NBA, and Klay Thompson is one of those player's. That's just one of those player's just ✔️ check out the NBA as far back as you can go. Without Klay Thompson there's no Steph, Green, just a few of those guys. Klay Thompson, and Steph should have more MVP awards than LBJ, Durant,jokic. Why are people hating on Klay Thompson I don't understand. Klay Thompson keep doing what you do because for all the haters will regret it when you get more ring's than anyone of those hater's. Wiggins, Poole, wiseman and those other players if you stay together to guys will end up with more 💍 ring's than you could have ever imagined. You all may be second behind Bill Russell. Do not worry about the money 💰 it will work in you all favor. It worked out for Bill Russell.
