Rodrigo y Gabriela reflect on the early days of their career: from the meeting of two “metal head” musicians, to developing their now infamous playing style and building a huge fan base in the UK.
The powerhouse acoustic rock duo explain how opening for Muse at London’s Wembley Stadium brought with it the realization that playing nylon string guitars to stadium crowds required better gear, and so a guitar tech on the tour put them in touch with Yamaha.
12 years of partnership, research, and development followed, culminating in the new NX Series Acoustic-Electric Nylon-String Guitar.

About the NX Series:

So, it's called "engagement" when a person comments on a video, and engagement helps a channel out, so here I am engaging. I'm not a huge Rodrigo y Gabriela fan, but I do like them and have purchased some of their material. Their story is well-known now, but it's always nice to hear it from the people who lived it. Also, the clashing major/minor chord ending, great stuff!

Anyone tried the ncx5? I own a ncx900, and I want to move to the ncx5, heard great tone. Just I want to make sure that the neck is same shape and comfort, cause the ncx900 is super versatile and “fast”, low action and that’s what I need. Thanks to anyone that helps (I can’t find a shop where to try that myself)
