You make your recipes SO super simple. I love watching you cook because you always seem to enjoy what you're doing. I quite often find myself almost drooling on my phone screen because everything you cook looks so tasty. I wish my phone had the capability of letting me smell the inside of your kitchen, haha. @@chriswaite6413 Salsas are super simple once you get the hang of it. Took me a while as well before I learned all the dry chiles and whatnot. Now I have 7 or so dried chiles in my cupboard. Just made a puya/guajillo/arbol salsa roja yesterday (usually w tomato). Green salsas are normally tomatillo or simple peppers, but normally with cilantro as well. Onion and garlic in both and roasting/broiling them always. You can experiment with chipotle in adobo for red, bit of vinegar (frying the salsa in oil is great as well for red) or avocado/sour cream with green. Lots of different ways! Experiment! Salud.
@@chriswaite6413 Also if you want it chunky, you can add in chopped ingredients for a restaurant style or something like that. Example: Roast tomato, onion, garlic, peppers (or if dried then just 2 minutes each side in a pan), then dice some small and set aside (not the dried kind - blend that or reconstitute it in water), make the salsa as usual and then cool, and add in the diced veggies and some cilantro and boom.
OMG love your videos, you must do red onions soaked in lemon juice for tocos amazing, Cut three red onions pour hot water over them, drain take 5 lemons put the onions in a glass jar put lemon juice on them little sea salt soak overnight, wow trust me.
Ive made so many of your recipes, and like always it comes out amazing. I tried this recipe with a little twist..made them into a quesadilla first, then added everything with grilled slice Serranos for the extra kick.😅
