Netflix! Give Yotam a show! Call it, "Yotam does a thing. Y-yeah!" Each episode will feature Yotam learning a new hobby/skill while narrarating his experience in his calm, reassuring voice. It will be a realistic take on trying out new things, where success is sometimes hard and failure is always a possibility but, in the end, perseverance, passion, and patience will make all that effort worth it when you finally accomplish the task.
Netflix should actually give him a show called "Yotam Gets Cancer" where he plays with chemicals and radiation & talks about how he doesn't like how it makes his skin tingle.
@@_e8a Let me begin by saying, yes, you are right. Netflix and the other streaming services, as well as the cultural paradigm shift aimed at cultivating cult-like followings through parasocial relationships, have tarnished the artist-audience relationship. Now more than ever, it's easy for an artist, now called a "content creator," to sell out and fling themselves at easy money while diluting their talents in order to reach the broadest market appeal the investors and producers crave. It's sad to see creative types be swallowed up by our fervent need to consume product. If I may clarify, my comment was meant more as a light joke, using Netflix ironically since they're are comically known for greenlighting anything that crosses their desks. To be honest, I'd rather see Yotam dedicate himself to animation as he's clearly talented and it's how I found him. However, I recognize the burnout of solo animators and realize the current online environment fails to nurture independent animation channels, especially on youtube. Their practices (reducing ad revenue, requiring certain video lengths, ceaseless censorship and copyright claims, etc.) snuff out budding artists before they can reach their pinnacle. So, I will support Yotam if and when he moves on to whatever endeavor he strives toward, whether it be animation, music, or whatever this video was (as long as it not something crazy, please Yotam, don't be secretly evil!) He's clever clog and I hope he finds his niche.
Aaah! I remember doing this the university, I remember we made the green/blue solution! SEEN YOU HAVING THE WORST MISTAKES IN THIS WAS SO FUNNY!!! I DONT KNOW ABOUT UV LIGHT, WE USE A "LIGHT BED" FOR 15 MINS! AND INSTEAD OF USING A 500 P CLEANER JUST USE CHLORINE! AHAH IDK IF ITS CHEAP. AND I EVEN REMEMBER CHECKING THE THREATS IN THE CANVAS FOR QUALITY AND SUCH!!! AAAHH I LOVE THIS VIDEO YES!!! Important question ... Why are you not using a maaask?!? You are drugging yourself ahahaha Combine colors! It looks really cool, like those facebook art videos
this is really cool to see. As someone who loves to dabble in all sorts of art forms (knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, embroidery) its really fun watching you try out new and interesting art forms. Between this and tattooing I love to see your journey of learning and self expression
I've wanted to get into customizing my own clothes, so I heard a little about screen printing. Glad to be able to see someone's experience of getting into it before deciding if I want to try it out myself! Keep creating content you, you fun content creator you
Yotam! I just got a lifelong dream job screen printing and I don't know how you could have posted a more relevant video. I've been watching you since you're inception and the albinoblacksheep days. Seeing you progress has helped me along the with my own journey from flash and other mediums and now here. A wonderful coincidence you are doing screens today. Thanks yotam and happy belated birthday
Make sure to test wash those shirts before u sell them, if that dryer isn’t enough to cure the ink it’s just going to fade instantly in the laundry. I’ve been working with screen printing for the past decade, impressed how far u were able to go with this setup!
Holyshit, I started watching your videos when I was like 13 and I really fuckin loved them. My google foo lead me back here after like 12 years to rediscover that you're still creating. Happy as fuck that you're still around and making awesome stuff, keep it up and I'll be sure to keep watching.
I like the whole "following a tutorial" tutorial format because it ends up bringing up the inevitable issues you can come across that don't get necessarily mentioned in the original tutorials. Plus this way I get some of that famous Yotam pizazz.
Love these videos. It's so nice to see tutorials that are informative, entertaining and also from a beginner's POV. Makes these things feel more accessible. Also love news show. Keep making these and I hope you prosper.
I love these videos because it reminds me that I can try new shit any time I want. I might need to invest into the hobbies, but it's worth it most of the time, because I get to learn a cool new skill!
very nice, you should check if your paint need to be mixed with emulsion. Also you should charge the screen by pushing the ink up across the screen and then pull towards you when printing.
i like this!, i would say if you want to get rid of the bunching id make sure there is basically a channel near the top all the way through. one way of doing this would be to get 2 board cut one near the top probably like 4 inch long (for your hinges to sit) attach that to the top of one board and then place the rest of the cut board like 2 inches down from the board with the hinges (for extra fabric to sit) and attach to the second half of the board to your base board. you could also get someone to route a full channel down the end of one board if you bought a thick enough board and it would look all sleek, both work tho
I guess it would depend on the price? I like the "HEY" design enough to consider buying it. I like the other ones as well, but that one is my favorite of the ones I saw.
this was such a fun video !!!! also if you don’t want to buy one of the fancy aligning tables you can buy registration tabs for reallyreeeaally cheap or try using registration mylar method!
Words on Yotam's tomb stone: That tingled. 🙈 Tip: Maybe add a hinge and a leg to the printing board. Would make it more stable and easier to apply preasure. All the best and keep making things. 🙂
So excited for another ycc!! These are my favorite vlogs (or whatever? Vlog still sounds like such a dumb word to me bc I'm 31 aka the actual crypt keeper, like the one made of bones bc they're so old and also decrepit) on RUclips!! Thanks Yotam my husband and I are gonna watch with bated breath on the couch and pretend like we'll definitely someday do this with our someday money
In my old graphics class we placed the screen coming down from the top of the shirt instead of the bottom, and we just put a thick piece of card stock underneath instead of putting the shirt around a board That worked really well, but it seems like you got it down by the time I was done typing this
He's just dreamy. That's it. All the views here are just thirsty people. so obvious. Look at how much elbow he's showing. I'm confused and jealous at Yotam's success. How is this not a violation of some guideline?
$15 for the wood cutting is a fair price. As a person who pretends to be a real man sometimes that seems like a price that makes it fair for the man and you.

alright dude I'll just come out and say it, I think your channel is underappreciated. I think you have mad animation skills and a wry sense of humor.
im pretty fly for a wry guy

I've never seen this process before but it seems fun!
Can't wait to see your designs in Hollister, my guy.

I think the “I’m bad” black and red wraparound shirt would be pretty cool I’d buy one of those

That last shirt design is HARD, if you ever try out white ink on black shirts i'd definitely grab one
I tried to get into 3D modelling with Blender following your tutorial. It didn't work out so I stopped... Thanks Yotam!

ive been watching your stuff since bob in the apple store, and you have really flourished in your art since then!
I learned more about screen printing in this video than I did in my college screen printing course.
Aw yeeaaa new Yotam is always exciting. The shirts look great, I'd buy one of those bad boys
I've always wanted to try this by just 3d printing instead of using UV curing solvents. Might have to give it a shot sooner or later
Yotam is such a cute lil guy doing things and also stuff.
I would totally buy one of these!

I just scrambled for 5min on your website hoping the shirts would be there….so I will be respectively waiting to buy them
Y'know what's cheaper than screenprinting?
Wisenheimers, Season 2
Also: get two spring clamps for the top of the frame, as opposed to using your knee.
I need the "I'm Bad" shirt so much
I really like that sweater Yotam.
I would LOVE to buy one of those goobers
