Azzi was amazing in this game. There were some missed shots due to the defense of Villanova and the hustling, but she compensated for it in the 4th quarter. Glad I watched this despite knowing the outcome beforehand.
Villanova totally dominated the game from the opening tip and had a 16 point lead with 4:30 left, and the game ends up going down to a last second shot for the tie. Poor 4th quarter by Villanova. This should have been a 15-20 point victory.
Westbrook…hot and cold,and cold again. Muhl, couldn’t hit a barn door if she stood 2 yards from it. Juhaz, different job to do,sometimes,if opportunities arise,she can shoot. Williams,love her, but shooting is not her forte. Are we slightly overrated? I’m starting to think so…about time there is a change at the top!

Muhl give up 3 turn overs in first 5 minutes ... Honestly she is not a very good guard ... a little bit brusque, and kinda lack of good sense when passing .. though I won't say she is very bad at it, just have a lot space to improve.

We were there for this game and could see ourselves in your video! Definitely a poor showing for UConn. Combo of Caroline & Olivia out really hurt us. Nika had a bad game. She and Evina and Dorka needed to have more baskets and Aleah needed more rebounds. Better luck with DePaul.
Dorka and Aaliyah aren't as polished on offense in the paint as Olivia. Dorka is more naturally a forward and down low she is too easily knocked around or blocked. She should look to pass the ball out or just shoot short jumpers rather than post up the way either Olivia or Aaliyah do. Aaliyah is good down low, but misjudges her speed on drives from the key. She should take no more than a couple strides before shooting. Good game for AZ. Eve had a few good moments, mostly on defense. Probably 4 guards is just too much.
MJL243 makes good videos and this video shows what went wrong for UConn: it was all Gino's fault. He kept Amari DeBerry & Piath Gabriel on the bench and he failed to tell Azzi to shoot more in the first half. Sure, he was thrown off by losing Caroline Ducharme & Liv Dodo, but he should never have let Edwards & Williams try to carry the offense while letting Fudd stand around watching those two putz-up. The rule is: if you have a shooter like that, she needs to shoot 25 times per game. The bottom line is: DeBerry & Gabriel should transfer out if Gino isn't going to play them, and that shouldn't bother Gino because he obviously thinks they are duds. I never give enough credit to #22, but she knows a lot of ways to win & she's a good outside shooter. I think her name is Evina Westbrook & she's a second season transfer from Tennessee: she's solid. Finally, Azi Fudd is no Caitlin Clarke just like Nelson the Dodo is no "Chubbs" Cinema, but Azi can score. So, here it is for Azzi..."Azzi, Azzi, how does you jumper score. This particular I think there was a lot of jet lag. First half belongs to Villanova and the second half belonging to UCONN. Very hard playing with six players especially when they are in foul trouble. This was definitely a trap game for Uconn. I felt the whistle favored Villanova the second half. Williams and Fudd played great. FUDD us a STUD!
If jet lag had anything to do with it, UConn would have faded in the second half, not the other way around. Let's not use bad refereesing as an excuse.

Villoniva don't trust that they outplayed uconn. Thats y they try to pass the time not at all ready even try to score. The coaching staff is responsible for this. No mater win or loss u must strike forward up to the end with same enthusiasm as the starting.
I just not remember any top team with extra talented players is struggling to give space and screen to best shooters of their team. There is some sort of weakness. When u rotates the ball on offensive side opponents can defend u by reading ur movements. So a team must do minimum rotation and find the best who can make the buket. I think uconn lacks that ability. They rotates the ball as if they r in half court training which is good in workout games. When u r in play court good decisions to make buket qucikly is very important. That is the speciality of paige. They miss her madly. Nikha and west r very much suitable for that kind of matured way of play.
