Aaliyah is WonderWoman and Iness blocked a shot. This is amazing. Ayanna did really well. Geez, I hope Lou is okay. I'd say more, but the Huskies were great against this opponent.
I KNEW when I got home from work today that good 'ol faithful would have our Saturday nite all set with the game ready to go; and once again--MLJ--a helluva most grateful, from the heart thank you for being there for those of us who can't watch/record the UWBB games otherwise. Now it's good food and off to the game!
They all played so well today. This is the UCONN I remember and love, and this win is the most deserved prize after a season full of injuries and exhaustion. Go Huskies!!
Aaliyah and Dorka have to continue to be aggressive because winning in march comes down to defending. And tonight they dominated. Ducharme had a really good game as well but this game was won early and the huskies never let up.
Thanks MJL so much, been looking forward to this all day. Excited for the tournament, but sad because soon this season will be over already, went way too fast for my liking. Aaliyah, Dorka and Nika are just hot right now. Their energy their intensity how they fight and run offense and defense they didnt just go up a notch for march madness but several notches. No wonder you should never underestimate UCONN and i bet my money on the Huskies making it to the final four. I think this years team is stronger than last years team, especially mentaly, only getting injured again could stop them. Caroline did a nice impact from the bench, she is so important to the team, Azzi will need to continue to shoot as she isnt back yet but she will eventually, i didnt like Aubreys game as she mostly stood there on the perimeter without any off ball movement, cant complain about her defense and she might be a little injured so i cant be really harsh on her, i just hope Lou isnt really hurt and will be at a 100% next game again as she did some really smart plays and was a big value for the team. Hope Geno is just cautious in sparing Lou in a game that was already won after first quarter. With a clear lead like that just spare your important players, it doesnt matter by how much you win if the win is never in jeopardy.
I really tried to listen to the audio while watching but early 3rd quarter I just could not take it anymore!!! They just never shut up and they do not call the game :( But it is still fun to just watch the Huskies.......
I'm utterly shocked that Baylor beat Alabama in their conference tournament and then again here. I think Alabama is generally better. Still, they only won by 4 and they aren't impressive to watch. What is Baylor doing right? 3pt shooting mostly.
@@markhathaway9456 well, i guess we have to expect the unexpected my man...ball is round, this ain't just about stats in the past or who's better yesterday,..these games are all about now onwards... ladies are making another history in basketball game... Awesome!!!
MJL for MVP! Watched the game live earlier today but still came here for some after-dinner rewatch. Vermont put up a good fight, and this was a great tune up for UConn for the later rounds. Great to see all 10 get minutes and points on the board. However Aubrey got very few minutes and didn't look right, maybe her back spasms still going on? Hopefully they kept Lou out as prevention since game was already decided. And Caroline was looking like her old self from again. Go Huskies! LOUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Quick question? UCONN is nationally ranked #3. There are 64 teams in March Madness. Vermont is nationally ranked 173? How does that work? Thank you in advance. Stay safe. Whoa, same with Tennessee vs Saint Louis. Tenn #13 and Saint Louis #170. How do you rank in the 170’s and play in a 64 team tourney?
Simple,,,ignore the senseless rank coz every team has potential. Them players know how to hoop,.. rank is just a number...it doesn't make sense with an upset win or condensed games... that's how you should approach the system, not by the ridiculous ranking on the paper. Yeah?👍👍👍👍
@@ronscorner99 Thank you Ron. But…. If the ranking shows the top 64 teams SC at #1 to Seton Hall at #64 how do the #’s below that get in. Norfolk State at #130 for example? March Madness is advertised as the top 64 teams in the Nation competing for the National Chip. Who gets left out and why? If you cannot help me that’s okay. Just asking. Always liked math and this seems a little off. Thank you.
@@Dingle051554 The rules are quite clear. As Tony said above, any conference tourney winner receives an automatic bid. Vermont, for instance, won its conference tourney. Hence, they are in. That is also how the Princeton men's team got in. Notice how that has worked out.
Nika keeps piling up more assists. Her record for assists in a season will never be broken. (Unless she does it herself next year!)
She could reach 300 by chance if they reach finals... Wow!!!
That a real deal. Bet she ain't got no time doing her 💅....👏👏👏
@@ronscorner99yep and she did

Conference tournament winners get automatic bid.
You have to ask the NCAA about that decision.
