Hi? Kevin! I admire your passion for bartending and your mixology skills. Your cocktails not only look appetizing, but also sound like true art. I especially love your idea of using homemade ingredients to create unique cocktails. It really allows you to feel the depth of taste and effort put into each drink. I love that you make it all available to us, pass on your knowledge and show that each of us can become a mixologist right at home. Looking forward to your future videos and new cocktail tips! Good luck and keep making us happy with your talent! P.S. I hope that the meaning is not lost ... I only speak Russian and I have to use machine translation for communication ...
Thank you for taking the time to put together these kind words! I am thrilled to see aspiring home mixologists creating and learning from recipes. And yes, Nicholas II had a great mustache! 😉🥂
It was the first thing I thought about seeing the vid's name. Damn, that drink goes down extremely well. Smooth, but tangy, it seems sooo light despite it's alcohol content... That's dangerous lol
Kevin, I legit think this might be the first one of your recipes that I make. Give me a reason to break out the sousvide. I'm really curious how the rooibos liqueur would go with a Rye whiskey.
Oh, I expected it to be tea tea, but that would be a very nice twist. Also, as you tried reposado tequila with the espresso one, I feel like it would really pair nicely with the woody-nutty-dry herbaceous notes of rooibos as well (probably anything lightly aged with a not overly punchy flavour, like a rum just refined in barrels enough to give it some colour...)
What about infusing Rooibos in orange liqueur, such as Cointreau instead of vodka? This question is about making this recipe simpler, for those who don't know how to make homemade liqueur. Thanks a lot for your instructions. Have a nice day! Saluti dall'Italia
Hello Kevin, greetings grom Poland! I Hope You, Your family and friends are save there in Slovenia. I'm reading about heavy rains , storms and flood in Your country. Stay safe!
Thank you! Thankfully we are all ok, but a big part of Slovenia is still struggling with the damages that floods left behind. Thank you for checking on us! Cheers!
🔥🔥🔥 my brothers thank you for this recipe. I am excited to try this cocktail. Do you think it's possible to do this similarly with Earl Grey tea and maybe with a Spanish style gin? Let me know if I have gone to far.
All sounds delicious! Except for the vodka base spirit. Would it be possible to sub with a bit more complex spirit such as tequila, mezcal or maybe pisco?
Holy crap dude just found you from your juice video but DAMN you look like the most classic mustache twirling bond villian imaginable. Like the iconic guy making all the plans to take over/end the world with some evil laughter while wearing your $5,000,000 suit ensemble andhaving bond strapped to a table with a laser slowly moving closer to him. like JEEZ dude you look evil VERY classy, intelligent and distinguished but evil.
@@KevinKos amazing, thank you! I was wondering what would go well when making green tea liqueur I.e cardamon or sth. So it would be amazing to see it as there is not so much info on the web

If I'm reaching for tea instead of coffee (which is rare for me), I generally prefer an Earl Grey, English/Irish breakfast tea, or an oolong.
Do you have any recommendations for Oolong or Silver needle Fuding White teas?

I can't help but notice your resemblance to the last Emperor of Russia Nicholas 2 😉

A very fun episode! An Earl Grey tea infused gin makes for a great sour style cocktail in the Earl Grey Martini. 🔥
It was the first thing I thought about seeing the vid's name. Damn, that drink goes down extremely well. Smooth, but tangy, it seems sooo light despite it's alcohol content... That's dangerous lol
🔥 Another great video that added more things to my DIY list. Thanks!
Sir, you are truly the master of drinks. I have learned a lot from your videos, they have opened my eyes on the world of mixology.
Wow, thanks! So happy to hear that!
This looks amazing. I really need to take a weekend and do some prep for some of these... 🔥
I loved the making of the cocktail, you are great at mul-tea-tasking 😉

I also tried using reposado, which was nice, but I wanted to stick with the Espresso Martini theme even though I added vermouth.
@@KevinKos Makes sense :)
I always watch to the end. Flame on!
thank you!
Great usage of rooibos tea!🤩
Thank you 😊

Yes, I believe you can use this idea with other tea or even gin.
All sounds delicious! Except for the vodka base spirit. Would it be possible to sub with a bit more complex spirit such as tequila, mezcal or maybe pisco?
Anything is possible! Give it a go.
of course. I tried it with reposado tequila and it works great!
Love this
thanks!
Hope you and your team are ok Kevin! Heard there was a deadly storm and flooding in Slovenia!
Thank you on checking on us! We are all ok. Sadly a lot of parts of Slovenia were damaged badly.
Do you think black tea or matcha could work in a similar way?
It believe it would, but there is only one way to find out 😊🥂
