Listen carefully and think. What exactly 370 used to signify? It used to insist that 'We are not the same'. Unity is a two way street. If the other side refuses there is nothing you can do. No amount of development or money spending can make a group patriotic. The poorest person in Bihar will be patriotic irrespective of whether any development is done there or not.
If a Bihari drags our economy down by taking Rs 7 for every 1, it contributes and still is the poorest state in India; how is it a Patriotic state? It is the most anti-India state, as it keeps my nation perpetually poor. It works against the interests of all of us. How can you call it a patriotic state?
"No amount of development or money can make a group patriotic" is perhaps the dumbest thing I have heard today. The reason is in the same sentence "Unity is a two way street".... It takes more than a "We are united" statement (essentially what 370 removal signified) to promote that sense among people on both sides. Hold your government accountable. Expect better.

I am afraid I have a different view on this. Abdullahs have always been as much Indian as I and you are. They are playing to the gallery when they talk about Art 370 or 35 a. That's politics. We may not like the dynasty or its politics but they are our best bet there. You don't want separatists to gain legitimacy by winning elections.

Kashmir needs projects that will be for the employment of local people. Millions of trees were cut in rural Kashmir with the plan to establish companies. The walnut and apple trees are gone, and took along the livelihood of the people. The promises of development and providing employment to the youth is a priority.
