Styrofoam ball no.3

The large petals are they one layer of fabric or do you double 2 sheet layer of fabric?
Hi Eloise! Yes, in the video I only use one sheet of fabric. But I just realized that two sheets of fabric per petal will make the flower look better.
I keep a small bowl of cold water near my station and dip my fingers in it before I press the glue on, it still sticks, but it doesn’t burn your fingers then.

Hi! For the base, I simply used concrete cement. For the stem, an ordinary pvc pipe will do.

Hi! Yes it will fray. Organza frays a lot. And the solution for that is to singe the edges. At 4:34, you can see that I am melting the edges of the fabric using a lighter.

I see other crafters using Uhu glue which is available in Amazon.

You can use hot glue if fabric glues are not available. I often use hot glue in all my giant organza flowers just like what I used in this video

For stiffening the fabric, i use cornstarch. But i don't prep my fabrics this way when making giant flowers.
