It just adds 20% base crit basically, that is why when it is 5% base crit you see it x5 because 20+5 = 25. Thundercage has 20% base crit so it becomes doubled, Tamer has 10% base crit so it is tripled.
The mod doesn’t work at all for me. Doesn’t add crit to any of my weapons. It doesn’t even add crit to my skill that the tool tip even states. And yes I am standing on the water. I have 2 of the mods. One maxed out and one at no upgrades. Both do not work on my Valby at all.
Yup! I have a 7 cat Enzo with a 4 cat Tamer, bosses get deleted. All my teammates get the same buff too! Firearm enhancer lasts until you reload or change weapons, so it's ridiculous for Vestigal Gley! Now we just need to train the community to pick up the enhancers we few humble Enzo mains drop for them :')
I think build videos should have a low catalyzed section and a theorized high catalyzed section. That way people just unlocking them know what mods to prioritize and people who want to invest get some guidance as well.
Its just a raw +20% on crit chance, skill and weapons. So, Your python goes from 5 to 25. However you built your thunder cage with a crit rate module, which means that it results in a (Base crit chance% + 20%) * x% multiplier from your mods, which gives you a 78% crit chance. Works with every weapon
Except I've seen a 45% sniper jump up to 90%. It is not a flat 20% increase. As for the Vestigial Organ itself in this very video, it went from 1.2% to 25.2%. That is either a x21 increase or a flat 24% increase. Already proving you wrong. ----- To add, Thunder Cage went from 39.02% to 78.04%. That is a Final Critical Chance multiplier of x2 exactly. If it was a Flat 20%, it would only be 59.02. If it was a flat increase, 39.02% to 78.04% is another 39.02%....

Well, to be fair, Valby also reduces enemy electri and nonattribute resistance by 20%, so she does bring something else to the team as well. Enzo is definitely more rounded and can fit in any team though.

Its not different multipliers for each weapon, it is a flat 20% base crit chance when stepping on water @Moxsy, the big thing about is that the flat 20% gets multiplied by mods afterwords
@@double_joseph327 If you have any crit mods on like abou 20% for example that would get you to 25%, it says in the tool tip when you equip it that it is a 20% crit modifier and you can see it when you put on any gun without any crit mods
@@double_joseph327 Cuz he had a Better Insight mod, and in the Applied Value tooltip, you can see it had "firearm critical hit rate 20%". Which when calculated, gives 4.2% more crit chance if you had a base of 21% thus you ended up with 25% like you've said. Simple math.
I would still argue it is not intended, because the discription clearly mentions skill crit rate (which to be fair makes a lot of sense for valby) and not firearm crit rate. They either have to fix the buff or the wording.

There's nothing hidden or bugged about that feature. The text in the skill modules for several of them are outdated and/or vague about their full effects. When you slot a skill module in, their skills on the left side of the screen turn green and you need to read those to see all the actual effects the transcendent skill modules do. That green gun icon on the left side by her skills shows that her skill rate and gun rate get a 20% flat increase instead of a +X% increase.
I've been advocating for Valby since the crossplay beta back in September. I fell in love with her then, and I main her now. Not only does she do this, she also has non-attribute DoT, meaning nothing is resistant to it. Sure, Nothing is weak to it, but it's the resistance that matters, imo. Her DoT is also VERY large aoe and lasts for a very long time. Also, when Liquified with her 3rd ability, she's like as fast as Bunny using Speed of Light, but instead of her aoe following her, she leaves it behind, potentially shutting down entire areas for spawns for a time which is very helpful in most mission types.
Valby and Gley are my favorites so far. Just flat out fun to play. Bunny is third, but a bit a bit squishy to me, also still need to get Ult Bunny. Not investing much into base forms.
Just wanted to say thank you for making these awesome videos. This one helped me out so much as I had been farming for the mod for 3 days just doing the missions and strategic outposts, but I got the module within an hour of doing the reactor on normal. I did go to hard mode to farm the materials to do the reactor then normal to run it a bunch, totally worked!!
How are you soloing the boss spawn? I tried on Freyna, Gley, Viessa and Valby and the boss just nukes the hell out of me every time. I guess pumping chill resist up wouldn't hurt, but damn she hurts.
Not to take away from Moxsy but Aznvasions has an extremely thorough Valby guide that breaks this down a bit more and includes a spredsheet for all the weapon testing he's currently doing to see which weapons have what crit multipliers. Would HIGHLY recommend him in addition to Moxsy

20% additional crit rate flat on the base stat. So the crit rate is still increased by crit rate module all together with the weapon/valby's base crit rate.
Been having a blast with this build with 70+ crit rate and 6x crit dmg TC. I also find out for special ammo there's a gold mod that deceases enemy's crit resistance. I did some theroycraft and for The Unwelcome it Could potential 100% crit to bosses (bosses have high crit resist)
Lethal finish will add a flat +60%crit rate (so 5% -> 65%) on a cooldown to some amount of ammo, that's reduced if you kill something with the crit boosted ammo. Also, on some weapons even though they have low crits, can still work as crit weapons. Tamer for instance has a low base chance but it has high fire rate and mag to compensate otherwise the dps on it would be broken. That said I've read that people were doing more damage overall on collosi building tamer for crit rather than weakpoint. All this taken into account I still want valbae to break weapons that otherwise wouldn't work out building for crit such as with launchers as you've shown.

Enzo has a REd Mod that turns his ammo supply into a flat 45% crit increase for him and anyone in the party who touches it. Makes ANY weapon a crit weapon.
I feel like that is probably an unintentional interaction / scaling since its so absurd in comparison to any other interaction in the game. I wouldn't be surprised if its nerfed for the gun side of crit, but probably remain the same for its other interactions. Definitely waiting for ultimate before investing into valby
Nah, probably just a flat additive that gets added before mod multipliers. Weapons with low crit DMG like python will enjoy critting but you should only mod for crit chance and weak point since the DMG multipliers are what matter the most.
It may not be since it only works when you're on water. Once you step off it goes away. So it's very dependent on you having mana and being able to be on water. Also, environmental water counts too.
Also the wording of the skill description to me makes it pretty obvious this is unintentional. If they wanted her to get weapon crit%, it would say so, but it specifically says skill crit%. On the flipside, Enzo has a transcendent mode that turns his ammo crate into a buff pylon that does specifically say it gives weapon crit chance %, and that makes sense because Enzo is the "quartermaster" and a gun focus DPS. Valby is an aoe ability/speed farming focused DPS so having her suddenly have one of the best weapon self buffs in the game is incongruous to her kit and design philosophy. I'm not one to call for nerfs of characters in games like this, but I'm only saying this to warn potential players that might see this and are tempted to spend money to get her because she looks ridiculous here, chances are this will get nerfed because this doesn't seem intentional.
@@ttk_rufus_gaming well water is easy to have 100% uptime on. Valby's Plop Plop skill essentially covers an entire mission playspace in water, and its CD gets reduced when you hit more targets, so its easily spammable.
Valby is favorite character of game director. No wonder she got one of best kits in game and now one of best mods in game. I bet her ult skin will be bonkers.
So funny thing, my crit rate % isn't changing but i crit every single shot with my thunder cage. My crit rate not standing on water is 29.7%, but once im on water its 100%. Crit dmg is x6.18 so I'm doing 6x dps and thats before weak point dmg modifier of x2.2. Valby absolutely melts bosses and i hope they dont fix it. I will 100% be grinding for ult valby if they leave it alone.
Something to point out with Enzo, is his fourth skill is multi as you show. But he actually has a trans mod that changes his first skill to now grant crit chance/ weakspot damage (29%/15% respectively), and this 29% crit chance is just a flat additive increase (For only one mag mind you, but works VERY well combined with infinite ammo Gley). I just noticed you showed Enzo and didn't bring up his trans mod too.
1 correction. Not "alll crit rate is mutiply" enzo red module just add flat crit chance to your weapon and it will get mutiply by other modifier too. SO valby gonna be the same. The crit chance is flat increase then get mutiply by other module. If u want to see true value ujust take off every module and crit stats

Its likely intended. The wording is "crit rate *increase*". Every other mod just says "crit rate +x%". This is similar in wording to ARPGs where they have "increased" and "more" to describe different modifiers that can be muliplicative with one another or base increases.

Glad you're talking about Valby's gun build as well since it's really powerful. The skill build is still more fun imo but yea, this definitely works with supply moisture. Edit: I also want to know what Ultimate Valby's mods will be because...I doubt they'll be more powerful than SM, there's no way.
Enzo main here… Most slept on character in the game tbh. He gives the whole squad so much extra damage and flexibility with his transcendent mod. Valby only effects herself
It's just like any other mmo game. Support classes/builds buff the damage of the DPS. You don't want two Enzos, you want an Enzo and a Valby in the party.
No she doesn’t anything that she puts laundry on lowers their electric and non attribute resistance by 20% each, so all damage of that type does more damage
I love playing as Valby, but she still gets absolutely shit on for mobbing by a half built bunny, and having to stay standing on water is surprisingly annoying when a colossus is trying to smash your face in.
I would like to state that the crit rate is “added” to the base value of crit of a weapon has which is why python goes from 5% to 25% as 20% was added to the base crit value. You can confirm this with any weapon and the crit buff is listed in the ability description when you hover over the ability after applying the mod.
Yall are late to the party, valby mains been using this lol A duration module is a must and highly suggest it as a sub stat on your reactor too. Its great and having a blast on here. The duration makes using her abilities fun too, clean up with a long duration is crazy good. Not as good as bunnys aoe but still damn good.
It just seems to add 20% base crit which is further affected by modifiers. That's why it doubles on Thunder Cage (20 base + 20 mod) but quintuples on the Python (5 base + 20 mod).
@Moxsy Enduring Legacy (ultimate machinegun) is the new hotness. Supposed to be better than the Tamer, though I haven't tried it yet. Comments about it are saying it does 50-100% more damage than the Tamer, but it's a lot harder to get (requires MR15 and farming for parts). Food for thought since you've been away for a few days.

Man - Sharen needs a buff bad. She’s really meant to be THE skill crit / firearm crit champion and stuff like this just makes her completely worthless. You can get higher crit chance, higher crit damage, and more aoe out of Valby than Sharen and i think that’s a problem.
The synergy’s been there since the beginning with Thunder Cage alone simply due to boosted damage with Electric & Chill. Use edging shot plus better insight module. Chill or electric enhancement module to boost. But yeah I thought this synergy was long since known especially with supply moisture

Remember that getting Crit Rate Substat on the weapon is actually additive to the base crit and makes crit rate mods even better. For example Thunder Cage with 11% Crit Rare sub stats and 50% Crit Rate in Mods gives you a (20%+11%)*1,5 = 46,5% Crit Rate
No it isn't, you're completely wrong. Substats on weapons are only additive to the mods, nothing affects base crit rate except for those red modules. [
@@drdickenbalz Tested it tho. If you have crit rate substat you can see a green number increasing the base stat when you check weapon info with F1. Then if you press tab when looking at mods you can see that the mods actually multiply on top of the increased base stat.
Please start with zero or one, as thats whats feasible for anybody playing. Having a second chapter for maxed out builds or maybe even a separat video for the ultimate versions of the char would be great.
I’ve been running the supply moisture for a week now with Valby and I’ve seen as high as 350-400k crits and I’ve hit about 700k to 800k on the first ability. I also got the supply moisture card on the first go. Lol!
Ohhh…now i finally understand how crit works. I thought just adding ‘better insight’ mod will give extra 39% and the game is just bugged cuz its not shown in the detail. Now this all make sense.

I have been playing like this with valby ever since I got her. I thought its supposed to works like that. So I'm very confused when saw almost everyone build valby to be an ability caster so far :)) surprise me that you guys only find out about this this late.
Moxsy you have to try out Yunjin with his mods alongside Divine Punishment. Super strong and just absolutely fun to see all the buffs, debuffs popping up.
This being the only mod for valby Ive been able to get for her meanwhile I have 2 for every body else... Even ones I don't have, I can't wait to see how they meds it up in time for the ult.
I’ve built her fully tank with 20k hp and 40k def plus flex res module slots, so my thunder cage which is built fully crit makes me go through all hard bosses just simply standing next to boss and face any type of it’s attack
Just a heads up you can see exactly what these red mods do by slotting in the mod and heading to descendent modules and check the abilitys on the left the red one will either show as a passive with its values or how it modifys a skill

Its % added to your base and your other mods scale off it which makes it so good. Thats why you see different increases with different weapons
enzo has a mod that does the same as well, firearm supply enhancement, and he gives it to others that touch it
Yep WAY better than valby. Plus his ultimate is great for weapon damage. You just run the standard 4 mods on him for cool down and duration

Nah, probably just a flat additive that gets added before mod multipliers. Weapons with low crit DMG like python will enjoy critting but you should only mod for crit chance and weak point since the DMG multipliers are what matter the most.
It may not be since it only works when you're on water. Once you step off it goes away. So it's very dependent on you having mana and being able to be on water. Also, environmental water counts too.

Also the wording of the skill description to me makes it pretty obvious this is unintentional. If they wanted her to get weapon crit%, it would say so, but it specifically says skill crit%. On the flipside, Enzo has a transcendent mode that turns his ammo crate into a buff pylon that does specifically say it gives weapon crit chance %, and that makes sense because Enzo is the "quartermaster" and a gun focus DPS. Valby is an aoe ability/speed farming focused DPS so having her suddenly have one of the best weapon self buffs in the game is incongruous to her kit and design philosophy. I'm not one to call for nerfs of characters in games like this, but I'm only saying this to warn potential players that might see this and are tempted to spend money to get her because she looks ridiculous here, chances are this will get nerfed because this doesn't seem intentional.
@@ttk_rufus_gaming well water is easy to have 100% uptime on. Valby's Plop Plop skill essentially covers an entire mission playspace in water, and its CD gets reduced when you hit more targets, so its easily spammable.
Valby was my favorite from the first beta. I'm glad there's a decent build for her. I think every descendant pretty much has good builds.

I just noticed that her passiv also triggers by standing on the lava in some intercept battles like dead bride
I could be wrong but the math for the vestigal organ looks like it is applying 20% base increase then a 20% multiplier
Valby is favorite character of game director. No wonder she got one of best kits in game and now one of best mods in game. I bet her ult skin will be bonkers.
So funny thing, my crit rate % isn't changing but i crit every single shot with my thunder cage. My crit rate not standing on water is 29.7%, but once im on water its 100%. Crit dmg is x6.18 so I'm doing 6x dps and thats before weak point dmg modifier of x2.2. Valby absolutely melts bosses and i hope they dont fix it. I will 100% be grinding for ult valby if they leave it alone.
Something to point out with Enzo, is his fourth skill is multi as you show. But he actually has a trans mod that changes his first skill to now grant crit chance/ weakspot damage (29%/15% respectively), and this 29% crit chance is just a flat additive increase (For only one mag mind you, but works VERY well combined with infinite ammo Gley). I just noticed you showed Enzo and didn't bring up his trans mod too.
1 correction. Not "alll crit rate is mutiply" enzo red module just add flat crit chance to your weapon and it will get mutiply by other modifier too. SO valby gonna be the same. The crit chance is flat increase then get mutiply by other module. If u want to see true value ujust take off every module and crit stats
Valby has been my main the last couple days and she's level 35 so far and was already trying to get the Trans mod. I can't wait to get that mod!

Its likely intended. The wording is "crit rate *increase*". Every other mod just says "crit rate +x%". This is similar in wording to ARPGs where they have "increased" and "more" to describe different modifiers that can be muliplicative with one another or base increases.

Enzo has a mod that provides 29% base crit chance on first ability. And it can be shared with allies I think .
From what I understand Enzo's Supply Firearm Enhancer works the same way.

Most slept on character in the game tbh. He gives the whole squad so much extra damage and flexibility with his transcendent mod. Valby only effects herself
Enzo is S tier simply due to his passive towards the encrypted vaults
It's just like any other mmo game. Support classes/builds buff the damage of the DPS. You don't want two Enzos, you want an Enzo and a Valby in the party.
Valby's Laundry debuff increases electric damage, so no Valby doesn't just affect herself.
No she doesn’t anything that she puts laundry on lowers their electric and non attribute resistance by 20% each, so all damage of that type does more damage
I love playing as Valby, but she still gets absolutely shit on for mobbing by a half built bunny, and having to stay standing on water is surprisingly annoying when a colossus is trying to smash your face in.
I would like to state that the crit rate is “added” to the base value of crit of a weapon has which is why python goes from 5% to 25% as 20% was added to the base crit value. You can confirm this with any weapon and the crit buff is listed in the ability description when you hover over the ability after applying the mod.

A duration module is a must and highly suggest it as a sub stat on your reactor too. Its great and having a blast on here. The duration makes using her abilities fun too, clean up with a long duration is crazy good. Not as good as bunnys aoe but still damn good.
It just seems to add 20% base crit which is further affected by modifiers. That's why it doubles on Thunder Cage (20 base + 20 mod) but quintuples on the Python (5 base + 20 mod).
@Moxsy Enduring Legacy (ultimate machinegun) is the new hotness. Supposed to be better than the Tamer, though I haven't tried it yet. Comments about it are saying it does 50-100% more damage than the Tamer, but it's a lot harder to get (requires MR15 and farming for parts). Food for thought since you've been away for a few days.

Man - Sharen needs a buff bad. She’s really meant to be THE skill crit / firearm crit champion and stuff like this just makes her completely worthless. You can get higher crit chance, higher crit damage, and more aoe out of Valby than Sharen and i think that’s a problem.
The synergy’s been there since the beginning with Thunder Cage alone simply due to boosted damage with Electric & Chill. Use edging shot plus better insight module. Chill or electric enhancement module to boost. But yeah I thought this synergy was long since known especially with supply moisture
The prices & farm time of Catalyst+Energy Activators means the day they nerf any popular weapon or descendant will trigger massive outrage

Remember that getting Crit Rate Substat on the weapon is actually additive to the base crit and makes crit rate mods even better. For example Thunder Cage with 11% Crit Rare sub stats and 50% Crit Rate in Mods gives you a (20%+11%)*1,5 = 46,5% Crit Rate
No it isn't, you're completely wrong. Substats on weapons are only additive to the mods, nothing affects base crit rate except for those red modules. [
@@drdickenbalz Tested it tho. If you have crit rate substat you can see a green number increasing the base stat when you check weapon info with F1. Then if you press tab when looking at mods you can see that the mods actually multiply on top of the increased base stat.

Please start with zero or one, as thats whats feasible for anybody playing. Having a second chapter for maxed out builds or maybe even a separat video for the ultimate versions of the char would be great.
I’ve been running the supply moisture for a week now with Valby and I’ve seen as high as 350-400k crits and I’ve hit about 700k to 800k on the first ability.
I also got the supply moisture card on the first go. Lol!
Ohhh…now i finally understand how crit works. I thought just adding ‘better insight’ mod will give extra 39% and the game is just bugged cuz its not shown in the detail. Now this all make sense.

This being the only mod for valby Ive been able to get for her meanwhile I have 2 for every body else... Even ones I don't have, I can't wait to see how they meds it up in time for the ult.
I’ve built her fully tank with 20k hp and 40k def plus flex res module slots, so my thunder cage which is built fully crit makes me go through all hard bosses just simply standing next to boss and face any type of it’s attack

Just a heads up you can see exactly what these red mods do by slotting in the mod and heading to descendent modules and check the abilitys on the left the red one will either show as a passive with its values or how it modifys a skill
