Love those trundle draws but I think it needs some dividers ?. $25K seems reasonable, I thought it would be more ..Love the back and how it's set up as well.
Completely agree. Once I figure what I want in that drawer, I’ll put some rubber on the bottom and divide up the drawer. For custom work, $25k is very reasonable. A lot of the bigger companies are selling theirs (not custom and no accessories) for a lot more
Nice boxes. Nice latches too. Yes better you went full canopy. Mud guards gr8. Nice LC badge. I probably would have gone a bigger roof top tent. Cheers for video. 👍
Thanks Richard! The cost mostly. Powder is costly. When we got to the end I realised that I actually like the aluminium look. I have plans for designs on the doors to break it up a bit 👍
I don't think you'd ever get people to agree on what is the best canopy as people have different preferences. Personally I would be wanting slam shut latches with central locking instead of the cheap twist locks and a trundle drawer that pulls straight out rather than having to open a flap first.
Im not sure at the moment. I am not a fan of big lifts so I’m trying the factory suspension with the extra load of the canopy for now. I hear good things about dobinsons and arb just released their new remote res shocks too
I bet you wish you didn't spend all that money on that overpriced Toyota aluminium tray from new. That would have been a nice amount of money for this new canopy build.
Very true! I lost a bit on that tray but on the plus side, I saved over $5k by building with Pete instead of other companies. So I consider that a win 👌
Fit an alarm to the canopy and enjoy the great outdoors mate it will be awesome when your all done thanks for sharing
Will do! Thanks for the tip mate. Hopefully you will follow the build and the travel vids 👍
I like the space at the end the tyre and Jerry cans sit on. The toolboxes look very well made. 👏
It’s a great idea. The tool boxes have a surprising amount of space in them too
very smart bracket to mount roof top tent.
Makes it very easy to remove 👍
Great work! Now time for suspension and wheels😎
For sure. Any recommendations? Im hesitant to go for new suspension as I like the working height of the canopy. Maybe 2 inch max?
@@NorthOz Yer suppose, even if it was factory height a new set of wheels would completely change the look👌
The trundle drawer can be used to house all the receipts from the build.
Haha. Might need a bigger drawer 😂
Looks good mate
Thanks mate 👍
Looking good mate!
Thank you 🙏
How do you find the San Hima 270? Any chance you could do a video on the awning and the tent?
Absolutely mate. I’m in the process of making a review on them. Chuck your notifications on. It will be done in the next 2-3 weeks 👍
Very good canopy
I’m loving it 👍

Impressive Mark, any reason didn't Powdercoat it?

Looks the goods mate
Thanks mate! I’m keen as for the fitout 🤙
Could you fit a 35 inch tyre where the spare is? Long term may be an option for you or resale?
I’ll have to measure it. I’d say the biggest I’m going to go is 34 anyway. 35’s require a bit of modifying and the fuel cost will be huge
@@NorthOz yes I figured that was thinking of resale and potential purchaser
What suspension kit are you getting ?

@@NorthOz bilstien are pretty good 😊 keen to see what you will do 😊
@@NorthOz Mate have a look at Base Air. There's nothing else like it. Love your videos btw.
