Sound Sources:
Excite Audio directly recorded the signature sound directly from analogue drum synthesisers that soundtracked the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
In order to emulate the iconic tones of ‘sample-based’ grooveboxes, they recorded and processed live drums using analogue hardware units and digital mixing techniques, similar to the techniques used in the creation of these drum machines.
Excite Audio recorded, and then processed, real drum recordings with hardware units and digital mixing techniques to emulate the iconic tones of sample-based drum machines.
Some of the sound sources include:
Vintage analog drum machines known for their warm and punchy sounds
Early digital rhythm units that defined the beats across decades.
Unique percussive tones from rare electronic keyboards and devices
Modern drum synthesisers offering cutting-edge electronic percussion
Textured loops and one-shots crafted through sound design techniques

Can you program this in in midi like other drum plugins?
This instrument has a built-in step sequencer to program the drums - JC
Yes you can program using MIDI
Can I use it to trigger other drums vst?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. It is a great feature request. I have sent it along to their team. - JC
Who is the woman singing the second song? Nice voice?
It's from an IQ Samples pack on Loopcloud/Loopmasters.. Pop Hitmaker & Vocals.. check it out bit.ly/496IXVf
I can't get past the orthographic perspective of that block grid thing... but I'm a 3D guy, so it's probably just me.
It's a great tool, but if it were possible to export tracks to wav it would be even better.
Can you use yer own samples?
It seems not. Although apparently it will be possible in the near future

I like excite audio stuff but it's very cpu heavy.
Ok
Looks like another single sample (per kit piece) player and only 8 lanes. Doesn’t cover the multi-sampled, multi-velocity layered acoustic drums I’m looking for./…
