Thank you so much for the effort you put into this. I probably speak for many of the volunteers who help run the show when I say that we simply don't get the time to see but a fraction of what is happening on the day. (Though I did get to see the spectacular London Bridge game). So, to be able to see the games captured like this is truly fantastic. Thank you again
It was a pleasure, thank you for running it! I quite enjoyed sitting down and reviewing my pictures to remind myself of all the great games that were on display.
Thanks for putting these up Lee, watching the games it brought a lot of smiles. Funny too, down here in New Zealand we just had one of our bigger events over the weekend, Valleycon. In the context of our country a big event, lol 150 participants...watching Salute and your comment of 5000 is like OMG! Love the choice at the venue and lots of inspiration so thanks for covering most, if not all of it.
I did a lot of the prep before the show, including having all the games listed so I could cut and past to label them. Plus a very understanding wife helps 😆
Thank you for posting the pics. I saw nothing of the show as we had games on the go and were busy all day, so it is really good to see what the rest of the day had to offer (our tables are on here from 3:13 to 3:24 - plus we had the snits game too!) 😁
Thanks for the wonderful photos I was at the STaB table mainly talking about the strategy game War Room (2:37) in the video. Lots of interest my voice and back was just about done by end of day. (I'm the guy in the red fleece)
Great set of photos, Lee, and thank you for taking the time to note down and replay the ‘runners & riders’ for each game. It is really good to see the games I missed as we were so busy at our tables 👍😀. Very nice pics of the tables too.
Great. It was an excellent Salute, imho - nearly everyone very friendly, some fine tables, and I blew far too much dosh. Offensive Miniatures and Rubicon, all power to your elbows !
Thanks so much for sharing this video!!!!!! Even on an iPad 1/2 way around the planet, (New Mexico), the grandeur of all these beautifully presented games is felt and acts as motivation to put brush to mini!!!!
@Miniature Adventures I'm heading with my son down to Manchester this weekend for Warhammer Fest. So more awe inspiring stuff to come. Our hobby is thriving ✨️
I had over a thousand! I did some quick and nasty culling brining it down to about 500 and I think about 250 made it to the video. It's been worth it though.
The Life and Times of Roderick Spode 😂 That’s definitely the game for me. Too funny. 😂 Thank you for posting these photos. I’ve never been to Salute so this is fantastic.
Awesome photos and thanks for spending the time compiling and publishing them for those that could not attend. 20 minutes and a little bit slower would have been easier to watch but thanks anyway
Yeh, I may do a longer version in future. So many good tables the only way to fit them in and keep the length under control was to cycle the picture quicker. Everything is a compromise when doing these sort of videos.
Not to everyone's taste, but I like to see a mix of games. The hobby is a broad church and we need to attract a new generation of players from all corners.
Awesome sauce! However, showing the stills for longer would give the viewer more time to salivate over the eye candy. Kinda flickered past too fast for me. Couldn't dwell on the love that went into these displays/tables. Thanks so much for sharing Miniature adventures! Nice work kiddo! Sorry to quibble. The point being: Really nice photos, well taken, I wanted to enjoy them more, That's all. Can you do a slow mo' version. So I can dribble longer? Tc hombre and thanks for posting. ...Although I could just use the pause button though tbf. Ignore all the above and have a good self back pat. Mistakes where made by me. Yours, the Quibbler! ;)
No your right, I could have given the pictures longer. I was trying to keep the overall length of the video down (too long and audience retention drops off), and I was also constrained by the length of the music soundtrack. Every video is a learning opportunity and hopefully I can incorporate what I have learned in the next one. That being said, this has been my best performing video by a country mile, so I'm pretty happy with it. 😆
Its always difficult tying to time these sort of videos. At ten nearly minutes I thought it may be too long for some, although I appreciate that does give less time for each picture.
Any interest in a large collection average painted wargame mounted (not the brilliant turf grass on these figures [very jealous]) 25mm minifig French, Prussian, British - Line, Lights, Guard, Heavy Horse, Light Horse, Foot and Horse Guns Crews and Limbers? (in USA) AWI armies as well
@@MiniatureAdventuresTV It's quite odd at a big national show like Salute, where people come from all over the country, and you may see people you haven't met or played against for years, and you stop and say hello and catch up. But then you see a familiar face until you realise that you only know them from RUclips or a vlog, and they don't know you at all. Quite a lot of familiar faces there yesterday as you'd expect, I saw Richard Clarke of course, Mark Backhouse, Guy Bowers, David Brown all mingling with us mere mortals.
Hello , there's is a way to make modeling a way of life? I mean this is possible in our times to work as a modeler and making money from this for living ?
I guess a lot depends on whether you want a hobby in the traditional sense of a 'Pastime', or whether you want a career. There's always a way to make money from any hobby, maybe even turn it into a business that pays the bills, but for many tabletop gamers this hobby is their escape from their job, not an alternative to it.
Sorry if that was the case... I'm sure there were a couple I missed based on other videos I've watched. No matter how methodical I try to be I always miss a couple. 😔
Now that's what I call some quality wargaming porn! Makes our local event over this w/end look poor by comparison - still you do have a bigger population base to draw from. Thanks for putting this up Lee.😀👍👍

Great video. Thanks from across the Pond for sharing.
Thank you.
Thank you for showing us these.
Glad you liked them

The venue had it's downsides (very expensive catering and carpark) but it's probably the only venue capable of taking a show this big.
Your miniature photography is fantastic as always; I waited until I had time to put this one up on the TV instead of a small screen
Thank you. 😁
Cheers Lee, tanks for posting. Plan to be there next year
If next years show is as good as this years, you won't be disappointed.
Man, one could spend all day just taking in all the tables to see what's what and deciding from there what to play...absolutely awesome :D
Indeed. I wish it were a two day show but I totally understand why it can't be.
Great to bump into you today, well done on getting this done so quickly!
I did a lot of the prep before the show, including having all the games listed so I could cut and past to label them. Plus a very understanding wife helps 😆
@@MiniatureAdventuresTV I've done similar in previous years, it's one hell of a task. I too, have a domestic goddess, so wholeheartedly agree.
Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it

That is sadly inevitable when you are running a game. I loved your little 'slice' tables. They looked fun
@@MiniatureAdventuresTV Thank you. They really were and went down great on the day. Already planning for next year! Hope to see you there!
Fantastic video and looks like there were some great games being put on. Love seeing tables with hundreds of miniatures facing off against each other.
There were some seriously large units with over a hundred 28 mil figures in them. Mind blowing.
Great set of pictures Lee of both the professional, club and personal games. Thank you. Hope you enjoyed your day out.
Oh I did. My feet are still paying for it though 😆
Thanks for the wonderful photos I was at the STaB table mainly talking about the strategy game War Room (2:37) in the video. Lots of interest my voice and back was just about done by end of day. (I'm the guy in the red fleece)
My group regularly run games at small shows in the southeast and I know how exhausting they can be.
Thanks for posting this, excellent eye candy and pictures - The music choice was inspired too!
Thanks 👍
Epic! Who knew there were so many tabletop games.
Lots to pick from
Great set of photos, Lee, and thank you for taking the time to note down and replay the ‘runners & riders’ for each game. It is really good to see the games I missed as we were so busy at our tables 👍😀. Very nice pics of the tables too.
There was so much I candy on the tables it was impossible to take a bad picture 😆
Great video Lee and great to see you yesterday!
And you mate. Meeting up with people is one of the best but about Salute (or any show)
Great. It was an excellent Salute, imho - nearly everyone very friendly, some fine tables, and I blew far too much dosh. Offensive Miniatures and Rubicon, all power to your elbows !
I was so occupied chatting to people and looking at the games I hardly spent anything. Still a great show, I'm just slowing down in my dotage 🤣
Nicely done. Amazing number of good looking tables and game variations.
A great example of what can be achieved in our silly hobby 🤣
Thanks for the video. I liked the What a Cowboy table. As for the Strength and Honour table with all those legions, I'm Spartacus!
I'm so tempted to give it a go...
Thanks so much for sharing this video!!!!!! Even on an iPad 1/2 way around the planet, (New Mexico), the grandeur of all these beautifully presented games is felt and acts as motivation to put brush to mini!!!!
The quality of the games was very high this year.
Lovely pictures! Especially the Cool Dealings in London caught my eye, awesome terrain, while the WFB 6mm is just cute and ofc 6mm
That was a lovely table
Some superb and spectacular tables here, thanks for sharing!
They were indeed. A joy to photograph
I always look in awe at the quality of the game tables. Looked a superb day. It's great to see the hobby thrive 😊
The games were eye watering and very inspiring
@Miniature Adventures I'm heading with my son down to Manchester this weekend for Warhammer Fest. So more awe inspiring stuff to come. Our hobby is thriving ✨️
Great video and photos plus some of the games were just breathtaking.
I didn't spend a lot of money yesterday, but I have multiple ideas to follow up on that will cost me sooner or later!
Excellent photos of some cracking looking games.
They were. The quality was high this year
This video was inspiring to say the least. Thank you for making it
Thanks for the feedback. I've been amazed at the response to it.
Excellent - thanks! My compliments to everyone responsible for those stunning tables and the forces that clashed on them. -MW
Absolutely, the clubs that run the shows deserve a lot of thanks as well as the organisers.
Thanks Lee. Looks like you managed to get a few more snaps that I did. It’s all still a bit of a blur!

great video, a grettings from OMAHA WARGAMES.
Thank you
Fantastic looking show!
It was good to see it back on form
The Life and Times of Roderick Spode 😂 That’s definitely the game for me. Too funny. 😂 Thank you for posting these photos. I’ve never been to Salute so this is fantastic.
Salute seems to have a Marmite reaction for some people, but I think it's a great showcase for the hobby. There's something there for everyone.
Some really impressive tables! Thanks for the pictures.
It is impressive how much love and skill was put into these projects. 💖
Agreed the quality of many of the tables (and the figures) was very high.
Awesome photos and thanks for spending the time compiling and publishing them for those that could not attend. 20 minutes and a little bit slower would have been easier to watch but thanks anyway

Great video! I love the mix of historical and fantasy game❤

Great pictures shame I couldn't go there 👍👍🤠
It was a great show.
Very nicely presented video. Couldn't make the show myself this year, so good to at least get a glimpse.
Glad you enjoyed it
I think i'll try again later on a slower speed :)
Keep an eye on the channel...I may do a 'Directors Cut/Extended Edition' version!!
Amazing. 3 lifes needed to paint all of that. Anyway, i m conquered.
Lol

Not a complaint Lee! Just wish I had made it! Thanks again.
you need to leave the images up for a few seconds more each :)
It was a trade-off between longer for each picture and having a video of a reasonable length...

AWI armies as well
Puta pasada! Casi lloro
Thank you
Saw you there, but you were chatting so I didn't go to say hello to my RUclips hero! Thought it was a good show.
Lol "RUclips Hero". I showed that to my wife and she rolled her eyes 🤣 Thank you for the compliment John

Do you think it’s the one show in the calendar that should be two days??
Personally I'd say yes...but I'd have to rethink how I got there. Not sure I could stomach two lots of £25 parking 😆
You missed us out 😢
Sorry if that was the case... I'm sure there were a couple I missed based on other videos I've watched. No matter how methodical I try to be I always miss a couple. 😔
No frothers tables you missed the best
I think I took a couple of pictures on my phone and forgot to merge them with the rest. An unintentional omission I promise.

Lovely pictures thank you.
God awful music.
Lol... I know whatever music I picked someone wouldn't like it 🤣
