A lot of people didn't use the best tactic on the travelator, which was to use your momentum from the balance beam, jump forwards off it, and charge straight up. Most people jumped off the beam, stopped, steadied themselves and then ran up. Mark who won series 4 ALWAYS used his momentum to run up the travelator.

I do think Joust would have benefited from having less turning or maybe even none, that first round with Jean vs. Panther had most of the 30 seconds eaten up by the bikes spinning so they couldn't fight each other. :/ Also, YIKES... Rick got really properly mad at Wolf didn't he? He did get a hit on Wolf after the whistle but that could be excused as having begun to swing just as the whistle went. Wolf then hit back keeping to his character... and then Rick just kept hitting back and it all got a little out of hand. Kinda hope he did get spoken too as well off-camera. x.x
At 22:25 you can clearly see Rick going Out of Bounds Again so surely it should've been another Restart and Dean should've ended up getting The 10 POINTS I guessing that was why Dean was protesting to Nigel Lythgoe, he obviously felt Rick went Out of Bounds so he should've been made to Restart Again or even face Disqualification
Woohoo Zodiac having her 1st catch on The Wall after 3 extremely close loses in the heats. The contenders are extremely fast on The Wall this season. Nightshade's record is mixed and Scorpio is struggling in comparison to last season. Falcon, Vogue and Siren in later seasons had far worse records and it took a couple of seasons for Lightning to master it. Zodiac was recruited for speed events due to her career in athletics. She has been doing a excellent job on SwingShot this season along with Skytrak and not doing too badly on Atlaspheres.
Jean came from behind twice to win yet again. So determined. Wasn't the best athlete, but no other contenderhad her heart. As for the men, after that Eliminator Deane looked like the inevitable winner. Little did we know...
@@BroskiRIP Maybe if they gave the Skybikes less revolutions or may the event 60 Seconds like they did in Australian Gladiators it might've been very different
@@Costas22 Well from the sore throat she had at the start, chances are she WAS ill. Probably a cold or something similar, but that can still sap your energy on an average day, and Gladiators isn't your typical average day. D: I do hope she wasn't really sick after this. :(
