I was there. Bob was furious the crowd didn't like or respect the Alarm. He played a VERY short set, and stomped off the stage without a word or encore. What you don't hear from this recording is the fifteen or twenty minutes of booing, hostile screams, and chairs being thrown at the stage. Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, Bob walked from stage right to left and gave a half-hearted wave and that was it. The boos and catcalling were still going on when we reached the parking lot. That must have been what it was like when he went electric! I saw him a couple nights later at the Concord Pavillion, the crowd LOVED The Alarm and a good time was had by all.
