Squirrels ate all my first cropping peaches this year...just before I was to pick them. You can tell what gets them: Deer eat the leaves and branch tips as well as the fruit, opossums and raccoons leave the pit behind, and squirrels cut the fruit off and carry it away.

I remove critters with a live trap. Unfortunately they rarely survive the relocation.
