Leicester City winning 3 different leagues in 8yrs and pulling off the greatest escape ever will do for me! top 4 and Fa Cup win this season at least. UP THE FOXES!!
@@Beastgrows leicester winning the league will always give me mixed emotions as you stopped my arsenal doing it in a year which we really should've done... beating chelsea at wembley however would make us gooners very happy. up the foxes
This was a team, despite relegation looming, that worked together, everyone had the eagerness to win every ball, showed so much emotion, unlike now. What a team we had back then. We need to develope on our young skill and build for the future like olds times finishing 7th 3 years running, we need to find solidarity in the Championship for now, as bad as that sounds, definately need Roy Hodgson back with the lads.
+James Penketh: Chelsea means everything to me, but I whish Fulham the best of luck, I WANT them back in the bpl like they used to be. Fulham were a great eam when in cam to fighting for a toppish spot in the premier league. That Fulham team would have overpowered any current bpl top 16 team have also done a Leicester with that kind of team so they should go all out AND WIN IT
I became a Fulham fan because of all the Americans who played there, but Jimmy Bullard was easily my favorite Fulham player ever. Wish there were more players like him today.
@@ourhandsaretied No, it was so much more than that but it's how it all began. 7 wins from the last 9 after being 7 points adrift. Greatest escape ever.

I was just starting to watch premier league games back then and being an American fulham was definitely my team that year and anytime he scored it was amazing
Leicester City 2014/15 was the best. Bottom in March then 7 wins from 9 ! Then going on to win the league by 10 points the next season! Then there's the Lg1, Championship and Prem titles in 8yrs! Most exciting club to support hands down. We will win a trophy this season.
@olliepfc94 Fulham finished 7th (highest finish ever in the Premier League), behind Everton (5th) and Tottenham (6th). Everton got its spot in Europa as FA Cup runners up, and as Man United won the League Cup, two additional spots were given to Premier League sides, namely Tottenham and Fulham. :)
Not a Fulham fan but remember this all those years ago, I remember watching game against Man City and cheering them on after it went 2-2 and followed them the rest of season, Loved it
man....what a frieking year that was..ano now here in 2010 we are in 9th place..playing well..bobby just running and scoring..the whole team is doing good...hope to see clint back soon. COYW :-)
Watch this and tell me Hodgson hasn't done anything good in his career. The mark of a good manager is to win when things are terrible and at their worst, not when you've got £100 million to spend. Hodgson = Top Bloke. Top Manager. Sound Choice For England.

You Pompey fans were incredible that day. Its not easy to watch your team get beat at home, regardless of the circumstances, but every Pompey fan i met before, during and after the game were brilliant. Now get your arses back to the premier league ; )
relegation would have been terrible for Fulham, they wouldn't have came back any time soon. Especially with the squad and finances they had. Well done.

The Great Escape and the 2009/2010 run to the Europa League Final were undoubtedly two of the most memorable football moments of my life.

Amazing memories. Danny Murphy - what a star and an inspiration. And Roy is a legend.
Great vid!!! Jimmy Bullard and Brian McBride stepped up and saved Fulham!
Kamaras performance against City was huge as well
I was at this game, my dad was working but always remembers the girl crying after the Murphy pen 😂
Sends shivers down my spine every time....
In the Fulham offices.... who decided to take a risk on MLS talents Brian McBride and Clint Dempsey? Cause whoever he is, he deserves a raise.
I get goose bumps and teary watching this every time Thank you Roy for everything you did for us.

Brian McBride is the greatest American goalscorer in the history of English football.
He was absolutely quality. Him and Dempsey criminally underrated back in the day

That left-foot volley by McBride vs Reading at 2:38! If it goes in instead of coming back off the post, one of the goals of the season, or more..
