- Some of my favorite clips from the Disney Channel movie, Going to the Mat (2004). This was pretty much the last Disney Original that was really great, IMO... great story, great writing, great cast. come on, Disney Channel, bring back the originality and quality that you used to be!

This movie was deep asf....
This and The Color of Friendship are the most different Disney Channel movies. It's all drama. There are no cheap jokes to keep the children giggling.
I thought the what, I'm blind? How am I gonna get home? scene was pretty humorous.
There's about 20 more Disney movies that fit this category. True confessions, all the sport movies like Remember the Titans, Glory, Miracle etc. You must not be a true 90s kid who grew up with Disney throughout the mid 2000s.

@@StephyM.C. was about to mention Tru Confessions. Especially as someone who has a sibling with a disability. That was the movie where I knew Shia was a legit talent.
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. My sisters weren’t too keen on it, but my brother and I were fans. Good shit.

I liked a lot of the movies and shows he was in. Brotherly Love, Brothers of the Frontier, Family Tree, Recess, Jack Frost, Horse Sense, Jumping Ship, The Other Me, Melissa & Joey, Perception, Castle, Fingerprints, Bones, Oliver Beene, CSI: NY, and Big Baby. My boyfriend Andrew has the Need for Speed Heat game and I knew instantly the character in the game was Andrew Lawrence.

I just saw this movie for the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!!!! I never heard of it growing up, and I'm glad I saw it because it's excellent. It was engaging and relatable. I really liked Jace's determination to be recognized for something beyond his disability (being blind). Andy Lawrence was great in "The Other Me", but his acting was even BETTER here. Also, the scene from early in the film when his teammates drew the eye and put it on his back, that was just cruel, and realistic in that I think that sort of thing would happen in real life. Oh and this video you put together, it pretty much summarizes the movie in a nutshell, so you did a great job editing those clips together. All in all, I really like this movie, and it's once again proof that Disney Channel was better back then, than it is now.

Wayne Brady literally tied this movie altogether. Andrew Lawrence is great but Wayne is a huge reason this movie was so successful! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽

I am a wrestler and actually enjoyed this movie,really liked the main characters (especially Jace,the blind music teacher and Fly) and surprisingly most of the moves were actual realistic wrestling moves.
Andy is PHENOMINAL guitar player.

I love all wrestling movies. I wrestled in high school I was 103 my freshman/sophomore year and 112 my Jr/Sr year. So I was about Fly's weight. But this is 3rd after Legendary and Win Win. I only have Win win 1st because it takes place in my state of NJ.
First time I saw this movie was on laughing gas and I swear to God for the past decade I thought I hallucinated this entire fucking movie
