@@justponics7785 no problem. I’m doing a degree in mechanical engineering and got a question on this and wanted to figure out how it actually worked. Ur video helped so thank u
Is bell siphon is perpetual in nature if water flowing continually in the hose ???so we found out that uncertainty with certainty of perpetual motion???
Energy is continually added via the water inlet. You can’t connect the outlet to the inlet for perpetual motion because you’d need energy to lift the water up (potential energy increase).
I have a question, how would the tank drain if the water pump would happen to shut off for whatever reason, just shy of the drain pipe that sets the maximum water level?
Is there a mathematical formula to determine cycle times and the factors that affect it?
Pothagoris cup?
Great video

It would not drain.
Bell siphon and siphon are different??????How???
Bell siphon auto-primes. Regular siphon needs external work to start the process like sucking water through a tube.
Talk about unsatisfying, I think the video should contain at least 5 cycles of the siphon.
Mabuti naman Ka Jensen
