Thank you for sharing this video. I love the Hampton Roads area and am looking at moving to Virginia Beach this time next year. My family lives in western NC between Charlotte and Asheville. I am a retire Air Force veteran and retire from active duty in 2014 after serving just over 20 years. I have lived in coastal areas and miss the ocean as I am currently living in Albuquerque, NM. I am wanting to be closer to my mom and dad but be by the ocean also. Va Beach is about 5 1/2 hours to my hometown so it's a perfect blend for me.

Thank you for posting this. I lived in Norfolk from 96-09. This is a great video. Very scenic and relaxing. Although it is a shame about MacArthur Center. Have a great Christmas and a Healthy 2024. 😊
I grew up in Virginia and went to North State University it's a very nice place to live but then it has a little downfall within the inner city but if you can move in a wonderful place it is beautiful there I grew up in Norfolk Falls from Chesapeake and suffer love your video but my hometown was New Jersey I went to stay with my father in Norfolk Virginia

I live in Hampton roads, but from Atlanta, if you do move to Hampton roads, don't live in Virginia Beach now, move to Chesapeake or portsmouth, Hampton is a good place to live to but not Virginia Beach.

I've never seen a dog on the ferry but yes they allow bikes.

LOL it most definitely has been cut in half. Waterside is more of a venue now than a food court and shops.
