In the Hylian text on the case it says: "THE HYRULE FANTASY" (backwards). That's the japanese name of the NES The legend of Zelda. Yes, I can read Hylian. You guys should learn the alphabet too, it's very useful in the game, and you will discover easter eggs.
I had absolutely NO CLUE that Zack has another gaming Chanel with almost 2 MILLION subscribers. That explained how this Chanel has grown so much, besides the amazing content
But with the Special Edition you all got the statue. In the states we don't get the statue unless we went with the Master Edition for 140. When should out in like minutes
I got the special edition and it cost me $185 AUD ($139 USD) so we're paying 'master edition' prices anyway, but we don't get the case. Kinda annoying. So... Eh. We pay the price of the 'master edition' but get less for our money than you would for the same thing...
I preordered a Switch myself and my friend's first cousin works at Gamestop. He used his member bonus and was nice enough to buy Switch accessories. However, he didn't know my friend already bought Switch accessories. My friend kept the ones he didn't want or already had and gave them to me.
I have the cheap Nintendo case and I like how it's slimmer but still offers good protection. The $35 Zelda case plus a $60 Zelda is already at $95. I think it's about the same cost as the special edition.
This one seems nice and looks close to the special edition, but I still think the $20 RDS Industries case would fare better as far as protection goes. My friend got one and not only is it sort of a hard case, the foam inside is molded to fit the Switch and Joycon very nicely.
F3AR penguin that happens... I kinda failed doing it too. You know a good way to put on a screen protector? Use tape on one end... line it up as best as you can on that side then take off the plastic that keeps it from sticking & slowly put it on the screen while you make sure no bubbles happen.
I like the blue Zelda Game Traveler case I got from GameStop. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it's actually quite nice. It has a hard outer shell that makes it feel really durable, it's contoured inside to hold the Switch perfectly, and it comes with two removable game card cases. It works great for me because I'm going all digital, so I can take them out to make room for other small accessories.
I got the fabric zelda case with link on it. it's gorgeous, and it has a nice pouch to hold the switch and still has room to fit wrist straps, charger, and the nice shiekah microfiber cloth it comes with
It was my initial intention to order this, but I missed out. Glad that I did. 1 being the rubber gels for the joycon add more comfort and security, and the basic switch carrying case isn't "in your face" zelda. Simplicity won me over for this one
I bought the hard shell black case, its pretty nice and definitely sturdy, liking it alot. I bought the sheikah eye kit as well so ill see which one i prefer!
Yes !!! Defenetly do the screen protector. I've spent almost an hour putting the screen protector, but if you can nail it perfectly (with help or patience); you won't even notice it. And it's going to protect it :)
I finally got my switch!!!! Well I wanted the red and blue one but I got the black one because that was the only one they had. What I want to do in the future when I have enough money is to get red joy cons because I like the all red combo
this case actually looks better than the collectors edition has which I have and not to mention the black and blue case came with a lot more accessories. I wonder what's the sound quality like on those earbuds.
Is the sheikah eye and Link's tunic starter kit cases limited edition??? cuz Nintendo tends to discontinue cool Zelda gear but I MUST HAVE that sheikah eye case. preordered the tunic case but the eye case is a must. I'm Hawking my GameStop for info. And is it only available at GameStop?
I really enjoyed the review. You showed so much of the case, more so than other reviews I've seen! I even liked the comparison to the limited edition case. One thing I would have liked to see, how secure is the system when it's strapped in? Like how much wiggle is there, if there is any. That's probably a good test for any case. Some cases have a more molded compartment that, combined with a tight latch, hold the system in place a bit better. I've seen the system in this case, in other videos (and with my own tests, I have the Mario 'M' case), slide around a bit more than in other cases. That was w/o the grips. It looks like it secures better, and moves around less, with all the attachments. That might be the way it's supposed to be secured in this kind of case. Still, really enjoyed what I saw! Thank you.
I only had 3 minor problems with the accessories in my kit. I don't like that thin strip in front of the L button. I'm tempted to take cutting pliers to them because the shoulder button is already so shallow that it makes it difficult to find (and honestly, it's the thinnest strip on it and looks almost separately molded anyway). I need to use them more to see, but the release button sticks on my kit were very stiff when I first put them on. The nubs also add just a hair too much size to the top of the stick. With how close they already are to the buttons, I feel like I accidentally bumped buttons and had to claw my finger more to reach B and the up button. Overall, I like how the base grip adds a shelf at the bottom for your hand to rest easier. It also makes it feel like you have controller handles a tad when held sideways. The headphones may not be audiophile quality, but they're not down at dollar store quality for sure. The case is solid, and the rubber detailing makes the case water resistant and provides good drop protection (it is seriously raised, thick, and quality detail). The screen protector is pretty standard. It's cool that the cloth is branded, and the branded wedge tool can be set aside to just look pretty if you never apply another protector from that point forward. The front pocket is large enough for a few small accessories and extra plastic game cases ( the little hold 2/4/8 or whatever types), and the elastic game slots are very snug. The soft felt/fleece/whatever that lining is is awesome too. I don't fear scratching my pins or my system. Overall, definitely worth the price. I would make the one alteration to the grips/guards and just leave the nubs off to the side (unless you have smaller thumbs than I do. I have short but sausage girth hands. That doesn't leave my fat thumbs much room.)
Did the back picture of the Joycon holders show a more textured and designed version? I saw this starter case but it was mario themed. The Joycon covers looked way different than what was actually included. The picture was better than what was actually in the package..
Use the hinge method to align and the shower method to avoid air bubbles. I suck with screen protectors and even I applied 2 perfectly (first plastic, then a week later glass)
I'm having a total blast with the Switch so far, and while I wanted to get the Mario M Edition starter kit, it wasn't available, so I had to settle for a Biogenik one bought at EB Games. It comes with great joycon grips, but doesn't have any game cartridge slots unforturnately. Also, unrelated, but does anyone know if it is safe to leave the console docked when not in use, or if it's best not to leave it in there while it's fully charged? Thanks!
I own the Mario M variant. It's a good case---- everything included in it absolutely sucks though--- well, except the thumb grips and the micro fabric cloth.
hargefries is the inside of the case the same as the Zelda case in the video? (Game cartridge holder, elastic Velcro holder, and micro fiber cloth to protect the screen)
rgutierr1 Everything is exactly the same on the inside except the card holders are red, included are cheap Mario earbuds, character branded joycon grip, thumbcap and cloth. It really is a good CASE---- just the case though. Well, and the thumbgrips.
A Loser's Attempt At A Channel it's not as hard as some of the harder shell cases, however they are more sturdy then the 15 or cheaper cases, I own links tunic edition and it protects my switch very well, as long as plenty of room for cords ect
GameStop is currently accepting "pre-orders" for this which will ship out before 3/31. Not sure stock levels or anything, a quick Google search turned them up at $40, or on Ebay for $100. I can wait another week for it.
So this is my first time watching a video from this channel and when I saw that it was ghostrobo I said out loud "oh my god" haven't seen you in a while ghost!
As far as screen protectors go, I've tried both a cheaper one as well as the offical Hori 20 buck one and the issue i've had with both is that it starts peeling away from the system at the bottom edges after you've been playing the Switch in docked mode for a while and after it does this a few times it doesn't properly adhere to the bottom and just looks bad. I'm looking into the glass screen protectors now and someone just showed me a good one that's only $11 and comes with TWO of them.
Definitely a good looking case. I have the special edition case, but this would be my first choice if I didn't. The Zelda skins came with the thumb grips also, and I love them personally. They do fall off once in awhile (pretty rare) but it makes the joycons much more enjoyable to use. PSA, the Zelda earbuds that are sold separately are very nice!

Yes, I can read Hylian.

It's pretty easy.
also it's not Hylian on the case.
Damn..... time to waste my time learning japanese and languages from a game!
Picked up the hylian not the Japanese though haha
i wish someone makes a real leather Zelda case
yes! the official!
I had absolutely NO CLUE that Zack has another gaming Chanel with almost 2 MILLION subscribers. That explained how this Chanel has grown so much, besides the amazing content
Kinda pissed PAL versions of the special edition didn't get the sheikah slate case
But with the Special Edition you all got the statue. In the states we don't get the statue unless we went with the Master Edition for 140. When should out in like minutes
Our special edition was $230 in NZ (around 160 US), might have the statue, but not worth it since they removed items.
I got the special edition and it cost me $185 AUD ($139 USD) so we're paying 'master edition' prices anyway, but we don't get the case.
Kinda annoying.
So... Eh. We pay the price of the 'master edition' but get less for our money than you would for the same thing...
KuraIthys jealous of that aus price. Damn shipping import taxes
Detrimont should have gotten us, region free
The special edition looks like a freakin arts and crafts project
When your friend's cousin works at GameStop, so you get a bunch of free Nintendo Switch shit.
TheCasualGecko Nice 👌👌👌
TheCasualGecko goals
wow ,so lucky :(
TheCasualGecko I don't think that's how this works
I preordered a Switch myself and my friend's first cousin works at Gamestop. He used his member bonus and was nice enough to buy Switch accessories. However, he didn't know my friend already bought Switch accessories. My friend kept the ones he didn't want or already had and gave them to me.
Why does Zack look like Ghost Robo?
Hypervenom941 I think this is a joke but just in case. IT IS HIM
Macasaurus ! I know it its him
Hypervenom941 lol
Hypervenom941 because he is dumey
Amaury Hawkins "dumey"
zeldas lullaby in the background, lit
I really really want the slate case
coyne slot Same. It's really useful and looks the coolest and isn't some random case with someone's face on it and has an actual cool design
7:44 that pause though! 😂 hey dude good job on the review love your content so cool dude.
I have the cheap Nintendo case and I like how it's slimmer but still offers good protection.

I Got that starter kit & I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The screen protector is great.
ElizaShakiraMassani I failed at putting it on now I have to get a new one 😭
F3AR penguin that happens... I kinda failed doing it too. You know a good way to put on a screen protector? Use tape on one end... line it up as best as you can on that side then take off the plastic that keeps it from sticking & slowly put it on the screen while you make sure no bubbles happen.
Did anyone get the Mario case?
TomodachiDerp i did
TomodachiDerp Me.
TomodachiDerp yup
i'm not a huge fan of bright red but it suits my needs and it looks really nice
also the zipper is a coin lol
I did but then returned it to get the delux travlers case.
If there ever is a customizable starter kit, I am buying one, no questions asked. A Marshadow case would be MY DREAM.
Can you get this but just the case?
By the way while you're at it does the switch with the hybrid cover fit in this case?
"tu'king a baby into bed" no mom this is totally normal!
I've got one and I love it. The Joy Con covers are nice as they keep the switch off the table and bulk it up
I got the Zelda special edition. Love the case and the switch in general!
THE BLUE!!! OH MY GOSH IT'S GORGEOUS!!! 😍😍😍
I like the blue Zelda Game Traveler case I got from GameStop. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it's actually quite nice. It has a hard outer shell that makes it feel really durable, it's contoured inside to hold the Switch perfectly, and it comes with two removable game card cases. It works great for me because I'm going all digital, so I can take them out to make room for other small accessories.
the grips are fantastic for long use in handheld mode and are great for sharing the joy without the huge bulk of other attachments.
the blue neon joycons make the switch feel part of the case
I got the fabric zelda case with link on it. it's gorgeous, and it has a nice pouch to hold the switch and still has room to fit wrist straps, charger, and the nice shiekah microfiber cloth it comes with
should've put up a link man
sold out everywhere
GEMain that sucks.
It's so cool
Brandon Augustine was that a pun?
Ba dum tis
It was my initial intention to order this, but I missed out. Glad that I did. 1 being the rubber gels for the joycon add more comfort and security, and the basic switch carrying case isn't "in your face" zelda. Simplicity won me over for this one
I wish the shiekah slate case was sold on its own its one of the coolest cases
I have that blue sheikah eye case from GameStop $29.99
I am getting it from Amazon
@@grey3247 same
Would be cool if you could attach the case with a belt so it actually looks like you have a sheikah slate.
Finally, someone who has the special edition case.
I bought the hard shell black case, its pretty nice and definitely sturdy, liking it alot. I bought the sheikah eye kit as well so ill see which one i prefer!
Can you post links to where you can get that case?
I prever the blue protection kit over the right.
Yes !!! Defenetly do the screen protector. I've spent almost an hour putting the screen protector, but if you can nail it perfectly (with help or patience); you won't even notice it. And it's going to protect it :)
does it come with a screen protector
I finally got my switch!!!! Well I wanted the red and blue one but I got the black one because that was the only one they had. What I want to do in the future when I have enough money is to get red joy cons because I like the all red combo
The amibo scanner still works with the thumb grips right.....?
Is their going to be restock?
Yes, In April, Keep your eyes peeled.
Kazukamichan I will, thank you for letting me know!
Where do you get the case? eBay?
What was that pause at 7:43 ??
this case actually looks better than the collectors edition has which I have and not to mention the black and blue case came with a lot more accessories. I wonder what's the sound quality like on those earbuds.
mark Smith would you be willing to sell that case
Keep up the great work I saw your Chanel and I fell in love with it I wish the best for you
51.6K+ subs! Congrats!!!!
I got mine at launch and happy I got it it's pretty dope
can u post the link to get the case ?? I can't find it anywhere even on GameStop
Honestly the lighter blue of the actual joycon clashes with the different blue of the grips. I'd say that doesn't exactly help aesthetically.
And is it only available at GameStop?

where do I get it from exactly? I couldn't find it on amazon sooo

I ordered the Link's Tunic case. the blue and white one. i thought that colorway was so much cleaner.

I can only find Link's tunic case, do they not sell the one in the video anymore?
Zachary Pappalardo I was able to find one on Gamestop's website on Thursday, so they're out there. But keep an eye out online!
Look up kevin bieksa. He is a canadian hockey player currently in anahiem. He looks just like him but younger.
I didn't even know ghost robo was a part of another channel. this is pretty cool way to dedicate to the switch.
Do the joy con fit on the grip with the extras?
I got the link's tunic edition which was the only one like those here in the Uk
can joy con still read amiibo fine with thumb grips on
tejon paglialonga it reads via the analog stick on the right joycon
If you're going to get a screen protector get a tempered glass one.
i like it better than the other one
Wow. This case looks great. If I didn't get special edition already I would def get this!
Use the hinge method to align and the shower method to avoid air bubbles. I suck with screen protectors and even I applied 2 perfectly (first plastic, then a week later glass)
I got the links tunic edition but it comes in MAY! I'm worried about scratching my Switch.
I have that case. I love the way it looks

how did you get both joy con blue??
zelda, the all seeing eye edition game.
I can't find it anywhere on amazon
Definitely put the screen protector on but I would get someone else to do it if you're not good at it.
Thanks for the info!
do you have a new opinion on digital vs physical. should people get a sd card?
bomberman retail????? lol i need that
Did you decode the Sheikah script on the front? I did 😁
nerd (but what did it say)
What it say
Welp all we got is time because we are getting nowhere close to laid
can you tell us more about the whole skylanders poartal
I own the Mario M variant. It's a good case---- everything included in it absolutely sucks though--- well, except the thumb grips and the micro fabric cloth.
hargefries is the inside of the case the same as the Zelda case in the video? (Game cartridge holder, elastic Velcro holder, and micro fiber cloth to protect the screen)
hargefries how about the screen protector?
rgutierr1 Everything is exactly the same on the inside except the card holders are red, included are cheap Mario earbuds, character branded joycon grip, thumbcap and cloth. It really is a good CASE---- just the case though. Well, and the thumbgrips.
Greg Erfulgerman Throw it in the trash can. Plastic screen protectors don't last long. Apply it, but replace it with a glass one.
I didn't get a starter kit sadly. But I wound up buying the Butterfox branded case and it's honestly pretty good. Holds 20 cartridges.
Are they available in the U.K.? 😳
I have the game traveler deluxe same thing blunty reviewed it has the same symbol this has on it and says zelda and is all blue on the front
won't that elastic band scratch the screen???????
Do the grips on the joycon still allow the joycon to go on the joycon grip controller?
Legend Of A Gamer yes
Legend Of A Gamer no
Legend Of A Gamer no but you can use it with a strap I have one so you can trust me
can u give the link for it?
where can you buy this
The Sheikah Say "The Hyrule Fantasy" Backwards, which is the original subtitle for the original LoZ
I picked it up two days ago at my local Gamestop for $24.99
What do u mean by 7:44
How hard/soft is the case? Is the switch safe inside?
A Loser's Attempt At A Channel it's not as hard as some of the harder shell cases, however they are more sturdy then the 15 or cheaper cases, I own links tunic edition and it protects my switch very well, as long as plenty of room for cords ect
+SwitchForce does the NFC reader still work with the thumb caps?
Rafael Jacquelin Cabrera yes
With one sould I get the sheiken eye starter kit or the breath of the wild Zelda skin switchforce
they are still selling at gamestop.com just ordered one
where can I purchase one of this?
Raihan Rafique GameStop, Amazon, I think eBay also, but I think they are sold out almost everywhere.
I'm assuming you can't fit the grip inside the case, if you do happen to find a case that fits the joycon grip can you let us know
Diman The Hedgehog theres a messenger bag that will carry everything, including dock and grip
i would have loved to get the special edition... if it was available in europe
isnt this guy Ghost Robo?
Majestad BowseR -William Tomberlin- yes
GameStop is currently accepting "pre-orders" for this which will ship out before 3/31. Not sure stock levels or anything, a quick Google search turned them up at $40, or on Ebay for $100. I can wait another week for it.
So this is my first time watching a video from this channel and when I saw that it was ghostrobo I said out loud "oh my god" haven't seen you in a while ghost!
I need this in my life
As far as screen protectors go, I've tried both a cheaper one as well as the offical Hori 20 buck one and the issue i've had with both is that it starts peeling away from the system at the bottom edges after you've been playing the Switch in docked mode for a while and after it does this a few times it doesn't properly adhere to the bottom and just looks bad. I'm looking into the glass screen protectors now and someone just showed me a good one that's only $11 and comes with TWO of them.
I can't get a switch August 😭😭:(
Definitely a good looking case.
