- Blocked Sewer.
This was a very good outcome. The manager was able to get the responsible parties involved and a piece of concrete 150mm long was found with in the area I could here the jet and camera in the basement car park in the suspended drain.
The manager was extremely impressed with my efforts and has made further contact with me to do other work in some of the apartments.
If you're an addict to blocked drains, clearing chokes, tree roots, high pressure water jetting, cctv and watching an Aussie Bloke do his thing you will enjoy this channel.

Similar thing happens to us in our brand new unit.
Apparently, when builder's labourers are asked to clean a floor slab, they see a drain pipe and, rather than picking up a dust pan and broom, they just sweep EVERYTHING down the drain - bricks, concrete, duct tape, wood, nails, rocks . . . you name it.
Not their problem! AND, they get away with it. Poor owner!
Yes it would really suck for the owner I agree. Also they do continue to get away with away as it is more common then what you would think.

All that trouble because the Builders cant be bothered to block open drains with an old towel
Always dissapointing when we can't 100% cure it *yet* keep up the good work!
Given the rules I was there to find if there is a problem, locate the area and then it had to be taken to the builder and plumber to give them the option and what they would like to do to proceed. The manger needed proof which I supplied that it was building related matter causing the blockage.
But it was a successful outcome and yes it would of been nice to actually cut the pipe and remove.

They need to come up with a cover for the drain pipes where the flange is on the floor which is lockable so the people ckeaning the jobsite dont just broom all the leftovers into the drains. The builder & the gc & plumbers should get the key so this stupid stuff stops happening to the people who thought they bought a good apartment or house or which ever 😂
Dreadful, an indictment on the collapse in construction standards in Australia over the last three years.
I can see Gavin being sought out as a Forensic Plumber to give witness testimony for all the court cases brought against builders and developers by home owners and insurance companies.

Place didn't get filled w/ 4 inches of "sewer," but 4 inches of "sewage," no? Correctamente?
This happened to me, luckily only one floor above me, had to take two plumbers to get it cleared main pipe

Correct!! I did not cause the damage to that wall.. the plumber who cleared the drain did that. I was shocked to see the damage tbh.
