- The first floor of many apartments in Korea often deals with sewer backup.
In most cases, it is not an individual household's problem, but the main pipe of the apartment.
My team and I had to go inside to the basement of the apartment to unblock the main pipe which was filled with grease waste.

Looks like the building architect and the general contractor should come along for clearing the pipes and cleanup.

Oof....I think now they'll need to bring in an industrial vacuum truck, an exorcist, and about 20 gallons of bleach to finish cleaning that crawlspace. :D

I hope the apartment maintenance will include cleaning the pipe area too so you guys (or the next guys) would only have to crawl through dry and cemented scent of that cramp space instead of the insect and larvae swamp. You guys worked hard!

Surely they have plumbers equivalent to "American Plumbers", just as surely as America has plumbers of their caliber. Something tells me these guys are more "specialist plumbers" rather then typical everyday plumbers... they probably earn more too... if your a plumbers look it up, find out, and maybe; just maybe, you will hit pay dirt if your willing to invest and upgrade your equipment which will upgrade yourself‼️‼️‼️💯💯❤

I am curious. why do you never wear a face shield while drain cleaning. There are some nasty diseases in that water. In fact i have never seen a drain cleaner team wearing splash protection. Why is that?

Ok so this is about the 5th video of your I have watched and all of them have large amounts of fat stuck in the pipe! Now I dont mean this to sound rude but is the Korea diet a largely deep fried diet?

I would wear middle shin high rubber boots and a full like plastic face shield to do this. Last thing you need is poop water splashing in your eye or soaking your shoes or in a cut

Tenant should stop dumping grease to their household sink. There are already products which solidifies grease which then cab be thrown to garbage bin
Nah, people are incorrigible. The only way things change is by the younger generation being warned/informed on the problem. I am positive it will never change no matter how many generations pass. It may have a chance, but that is only when the entire concept of plumbing is brought up to spec with tech. Let tech solve the problems.
It is a good thing anyway, because I would imagine that 70% of their work is thanks to the irresponsible people who dump grease down their drains.
Hell even when tech, solid design, and engineering solve these problems, and cut so many of these plumbers jobs, new jobs will be created for the techies. In any case work will always be around... that is until the elite manage to bring our population down by 6 or 7 billion people. When we have 500,000,000, or 1 billion as our perfect population - then, and only then will our perfect utopia be put into effect, where everyone gets to live life for life's sake‼️‼️‼️💯💯😪
