Cops was my late husband's favorite show, his African Grey parrot would sing the theme song all the time. Finding this channel brings back lovely memories of him. so, thank you.
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, I couldn't imagine losing my wife. When I was a kid my best friend's mom had a cockatiel and he taught it to whistle the theme song to Andy Griffith. His mom would put a blanket over the bird's cage at night and even at 3AM when I'd stay at their house I'd hear their bird whistling Andy Griffith and I'd always laugh. Again, I'm sorry for your loss, but thank you for the trip down memory lane.
We had a cockatiel as well. He sang Yanky Doodle 🇺🇲. His Wolf Whistle was very convincing. When girls walking by heard him from the upstairs window they'd get all giggly, thinking it was my older brother 🤭.

Love the policeman giving the guy his chicken. He was honest with the guy, made it clear he wanted the truth. He may have been younger but definitely has characteristics of continuing to be a good law enforcer
Whenever someone's defense is, "If I really did that, then where's the thing?" They're guilty. Basically telling on themselves that they ditched the evidence. A lot of DV suspects use the same line, "If I really hit her/him, how come they don't have any marks?" It's guilty gaslighting.

He asked for a lawyer, then had his rights read, then willingly talked to the police with his rights in mind. It's all admissible, you're allowed to change your mind after invoking your rights and it's even easier in this case since the rights were read between asking for a lawyer and willingly answering questions

All questioning has to stop as soon as the suspect invokes his rights.

If you invoke your rights and then willfully start talking to the police, then you have changed your mind about invoking and everything you say is admissible
