It can change and you can feel better. Fasting and prayer to Jesus is very very powerful. Have you ever repented and confessed your sins?
the kinilaw is so mouthwatering, I have eaten different kinds of ceviche but the philippine ceviche is the most delicious especially when the fish is fresh from the sea.
Mark, your videos are must-see. Big fan here. I love that you also feature traditional and home-cooked meals like this one and you interview and respect the cooks and the local food guides. You also provide some context to the dishes. Most other food bloggers usually just do the easy route by just going to the cozy and well known restaurants. Keep on doing the good work!

I love your vlogs in the Philippines. you show and choose the reality of how filipino food eat,, share and enjoy there food. More power and success to you mark...
Super thumbs up, Mark! Love the traditional way of cooking chicken in a makeshift oven using wood fire, Humba Bisaya and the flying fish kilawin by the Yangco family. Amazingly simple, yet delectable (per Mark's declaration).
I admire you Mark...you are one truly a humble person...getting along with anybody regardless of colour race religion and culture. you are amazing. Welcome to my country Philippines.
I personally want to try out someday that kind of roast chicken wrapped in banana stump, and that Surf n' Turf kinilaw looks uncommonly delicious. Really looking forward for the next videos to come in the series.
Just following up---LOVED the pull apart of the Chicken and how the ENTIRE Meal was assembled on the huge banana leaves. How can ANY Meal be better? It CANNOT! Thank you for giving this family the respect of their cooking and assembling!
The chicken and pork looks delicious. The sweet and sour fish salad dish looks just as yummy too. The only disadvantage it takes quite long to cook dishes because they have to get the fire started.🤩 Unique dishes. Any food that is cooked with firewood definitely tastes better.
It's really heartwarming seeing how you enjoy and appreciate our Filipino culture type of cooking. You are really one of a kind taking your time, effort and sacrifices just to dive in the center of our culture. More success to you and your family. We love you Mark Wiens the Migrationology.
Man this made me drool! 4:39am Anyone want cup noodles while watching?😂😂 Fun facts: That boiled banana can also be dipped in fermented fish sauce(bagoong) with chillies and onions ☺️ I like that kind of banana a bit ripe but some prefer it green when boiled.. Also, the kinilaw is best paired with Tuba 😁 I'm waiting for the Dad to invite Mark for a drinking Tuba session after that meal hahah.. Such a wonderful family! ❤️❤️
This is an amazing video Mark. Thank you for bringing this to everyone, and please continue to journey and show the world the cultural differences we all have within our tastes and food preferences.
I've seen and tasted many Filipino food and watched many videos, but men, their cooking is by far the best and so interesting with the baked chicken in a man made oven, lol. Beautiful, just beautiful. Lucky you👍
Watching from US! Incredible and yummy food. I really enjoy the boodle fight style eating; using hands (kamayan), whole family gather around and then eat all food laid out on the table (on banana leave). As always, great video Mark!❤️
I’m so happy you finally tasted some home cooked authentic Filipino food. The ones that have history . Although a lot of the street food in the Philippines is good, they don’t mirror the fry Filipino cuisine . I also love this family. They are so humble
Im always watching all your vedios but this episode was blowing out to me.Just a simple, perfect foods of combination.Thank you Mark for having fun in the Philippines.
The hospitality of filipinos are always there... You're one of my few favorite food vloggers..it seems you always like and appreciate all the food everytime you eat...
Kinilaw is eating raw fish like the Japanese with their Sushi. Almost any kind of fish that is available you can have for kinilaw. It is mixed with a vinegar sauce with onions, tomato and ginger. Kinilaw is common among bisaya speaking Filipinos and much of the Visayas group of islands and parts of Mindanao.
Look at all that amazing Organic fruit !!! They are so blessed to have all that organic veggies and fruits right in their yard and not have to spend extra money at the market
Am glad Mark that you've been in the countryside of Cebu and try the authentic food , always enjoy watching your video whatever place you may be specially here in the Philippines.
I miss this way of life especially the warm heart of our Filipino people towards everyone , that’s what makes our food so delicious… the love and generosity of our hearts!
Wow! What a great teamwork, we Filipino’s are the most hospitable people on earth. I am missing Philippines now, we are planning to go there this December. This video is so touching, reminded me of our tradition and culture. 🎉😊❤
If you can, try to visit the Batangas / Southern Tagalog regions next time, Mark. There's a tradition of cooking there where the older men of the community help with the slaughter, prep, and cooking of food for Fiesta and Wedding celebrations. Its open door for most areas so you can drop in and eat to your heart's content.

You just hit the right people @Mark in showing you our very own way😀 That's truly traditional! Thank you👏👏👏
Hi Mark, we appreciate your simplicity and being down to earth. We enjoyed watching you boodle fight with our co-Filipinos.
Super thumbs up, Mark! Love the traditional way of cooking chicken in a makeshift oven using wood fire, Humba Bisaya and the flying fish kilawin by the Yangco family. Amazingly simple, yet delectable (per Mark's declaration).
The best Lechon in the Philippines is in Cebu.
I admire you Mark...you are one truly a humble person...getting along with anybody regardless of colour race religion and culture. you are amazing. Welcome to my country Philippines.
God bless you, Mark for always visiting our country and enjoying our food. Watching from Amazon Region Brasil
We Filipinos may not be the best but surely we are one of the best when it comes to hospitality and love for family..
The only disadvantage it takes quite long to cook dishes because they have to get the fire started.🤩
Unique dishes. Any food that is cooked with firewood definitely tastes better.
Love these village videos; and wow near 10 mil subs, this channel has deservedly grown over the years; hard work paying off, grats
🇵🇭❤️Wow, so good! 👍🤟 PH is the best!
Mark inspires me to go to the Philippines and eat that lovely food

@@jabonetebrixjun3931 you're
Yeah, but in Cebu they like using fresh fish. I mean fresh fish that were caught 1 or 2 hrs prior.
What a great video Mark!
I love it!!!
This Mark's episode standing eating styles was quite different and the recipies are mouth watery too. 😍
Mark Wien's vlogs are a repository of indigenous culinary practices, a great resource,
I’m crying while watching. I missed the Philippines and the food. Thanks Mark for showcasing our Filipino traditional and home-cooked meals ❤
🇧🇷❤️🇵🇭 Eu amo esse lindo País

I miss working with my Filipino family, they were so humble and generous when it came to feeding me even if I brought my own lunch ❤😂😊😊😊
You make our mama proud mark👌 thank you! With LOVE from Cebu♥️♥️♥️
I love this clip, my grandma was from there and it helps my Americanized self learn a lot. I thank you for this... from the bottom of my heart.
