    A great start Mitch. Maybe make a muzzle for the dog before returning the chairs, it might save you more restoration work from that particular household!

    Greatly explained and shown!
    Regarding the bite marks, the dog is not trained properly and is underchallenged!
    What kind of glue did you use?
    Have you ever tried to remove old glue with hot steam (steam cleaner)? Because this will help you loosen some old glue spots.

      Yes, steam, very good to use. Also, a hot poultice. It's not always obvious what glue has been used, and whether heat heat will loosen a joint without causing too much damage.
