When Q-Tip politely explained her the history of rap, she took it as a diss, and bashed him on twitter. Eminem, Elvis (R&B), Yelawolf, Beastie Boys, Joell Ortiz are other white rappers, who have always realized that. They represent black culture to the fullest, like other black rappers. 2. *Iggy Doesn't write her own lyrics* - Ok, the first and foremost point in hip hop is, expressing yourself. But Iggy, TI writes her lyrics. She herself admitted that. 3. *Iggy has been attributed to some racist remarks* - I agree that Azalea banks was at fault when she targeted Iggy, but again, this is not the first time Iggy has been targeted for racist remarks. Before she was famous, she had put many such racist updates on her social media. 4. *Iggy always keeps on crying* - You know what, every rapper in the industry, every rapper, has feuds and beefs with another rapper. I'm not justifying them saying mean things about Iggy, but, I guess you could say that when rap first came around, the main writers were people who had been through hard times and were writing about it. Rap is a raw, truthful and a distinguished form of music, and that's what makes it original. Iggy Azalea is more commercialised, and has got a pop/rap sort of feel. To these other rappers. RAP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GENDER. Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf, Missy Elliot, Azalea Banks and so many women rappers are there in the industry. Everyone looks at them with equal eye. But not Iggy, here are the reasons -
1. *Iggy Doesn't know the history of rap* - Furthermore, she doesn't try to acknowledge it even! When Q-Tip politely explained her the history of rap, she took it as a diss, and bashed him on twitter. Eminem, Elvis (R&B), Yelawolf, Beastie Boys, Joell Ortiz are other white rappers, who have always realized that. They represent black culture to the fullest, like other black rappers.
2. *Iggy Doesn't write her own lyrics* - Ok, the first and foremost point in hip hop is, expressing yourself. But Iggy, TI writes her lyrics. She herself admitted that.
3. *Iggy has been attributed to some racist remarks* - I agree that Azalea banks was at fault when she targeted Iggy, but again, this is not the first time Iggy has been targeted for racist remarks. Before she was famous, she had put many such racist updates on her social media.
4. *Iggy always keeps on crying* - You know what, every rapper in the industry, every rapper, has feuds and beefs with another rapper. Nas Vs Jay Z, Pac Vs Biggie, 50 Cent vs Ja Rule, Eminem Vs Benzino and so many more. They write their own lyrics and diss other rappers in their songs. But Iggy, all she does is cry and whine about on twitter. Hip Hop is not for soft skin people. Either get hard, or get out. 6. *Iggy has a fake accent*- No doubts on that. Everyone who has listened to her music and even one interview, can tell the difference.
7. *Iggy doesn't respect older artists, nor makes diss songs* - Snoop Dogg. J cole. Eminem. Q Tip. Drake. Nicki Minaj. Has eminem ever dissed NAS ? Has Nas ever dissed Pac ? Nobody disses artists who started rapping before them, this is a sign of respect. Now even if all these dissed iggy, she could have made a diss song and then react. But Bashing and crying on twitter ?? Nah. When Eminem dissed Miley cyrus or Kayne West, did they react back ? No, miley even said that eminem is a legend and miley knew that eminem doesnt mean stuff literally. She took it in good humour, did not cry.

I'm not really a fan of any of the rappers on this list or even Iggy Azalea, but I sort of understand what they're saying. I'm not justifying them saying mean things about Iggy, but, I guess you could say that when rap first came around, the main writers were people who had been through hard times and were writing about it. Rap is a raw, truthful and a distinguished form of music, and that's what makes it original. Iggy Azalea is more commercialised, and has got a pop/rap sort of feel. To these other rappers. This doesn't count as 'rap'. But, I'm not here to judge, and I respect all of these artists.
