Another great flight brother. Excellent breakdown of aircraft capabilities and associated equipment. I have the 8S version and as you point out a lot of flying surface with those big wings and stabs which give her a tremendous glide ratio. Very cool!
Excellent video, and nice flying. We're in a similar situation. My main EDF is my E-flight Viper 90mm which I dearly love. I'm looking into my next 90mm EDF, and I very much want this Raptor (now with Freewing), but I also am very interested in the Freewing F/A-18C Hornet Blue Angels High Performance 90mm. I'm sure the Hornet's a bit more docile and touchier than the Raptor.
That was great. Thank you. I was watching the Mig22 video. Have you flown one if them? If so which do you like better? like to get started in RC Flying. Do you have any recommendations?
Liked the video, will be maidening mine once the weather improves and the runway is rolled I have the out runner 1750 in mine. Transitioning from the Avanti to this I’m told should be a non event, will get comfortable with this one before trying the f18 (hp version) as it will be my 1st 90 size jet.
Such a good jet! But I said the same thing about Freewing’s T-33, their Me-262, their 80mm a-10, and the Freewing L-39. (There’s a pattern or theme here. Don’t tell me, I want to figure it out myself😅)
Hello nice flight and nice plane, could you tell me the position at which you adjust the giro on the admiral receiver relative to a clock in this plane. thanks to your video i just ordered the f22 and i am going to use the admiral receiver on it….thanks!
Excellent video! I have a question that maybe you or someone in the chat can help with. My father really wants this bird and the family and I would love to get for him for his big upcoming 60th birthday. He currently flies the E-flite F-16 80mm but is a little hesitant of this because he's used to and comforted by E-flite's safe select option in case he loses orientation of his jet. Does Freewing offer receivers for this F-22 that can be programmed similarly with a safe select switch? Or can we possibly put a Spektrum receiver in this to give it safe select?
Yes you can get a spektrum receiver with safe and install it in this jet. Just have to do your research and make sure you set it up right with the safe and as3x gyro.
Very nice flight mister, if may ask did you modify the gear of your F-22, as you might know some guys who fly this jet recommend to shorten the springs of the landing gear a little to reduce bounce on grass, any comments on that? cheers
Have you flown an avanti? What is your thoughts on skill level to land this versus an avanti? I have heard this edf can almost be considered a first edf for an intermediate prop plane pilot.
I have the same jet and I'm an amateur , I have the same admiral receiver in mine , my question is when I flew mine the wings started rocking back and forth and it scared me, I was able to land it perfectly but why did it do that ? Was I flying to slow or was something wrong with my receiver setup ?
@@cormierrctrailers5177 I thought maybe it was trying to tip stall but I'll go back and watch some videos on the admiral receiver gyro gain setup . Thanks
@@cormierrctrailers5177 one more question , if you fly yours slowly to the point of almost stalling does the wings rock back and forth ? What are the stalling characteristics of the f22 , thanks for the reply .
@@motoriderguy3854 Yes they will start to rock slowly then it will roll to one side and snap out but if the Gyro is set correctly it will help this out. But keep in mind if you go to slow the Gyro can only do so much.
Really nice flight, love the F22 ,mine has about 150 flights on it now. Definitely one of the best jets Freewing make.

Solid flight man. Fantastic landing.

Yes it is very fun to fly the videos really only get a portion of the capability of the planes.
Nice advice on the wood piece in the nose cone, thanks for that bro
I've had my Freewing 6S HP 90mm F-22 for a year now and it's the best flying EDF out of the 13 or so EDF's that I own..
This video convinced me to buy mine. I’ve got about 12 flights on mine and it flies awesome. Very fast and Agile compared to my Twin 80mm Mig 29.
Awesome I glad you like it! It is one of the best flying jets I have

I flew the same HRB 5000 on my first flight. 3 minutes and rarely in full throttle. Had 5% battery left.
Amazing flying. Lovin that slow high alpha.
Thank you very much it is a great high alpha jet!
Awesome landing 👍

Nice video!! Just got mine in , what would you recommend for throws all around for maiden along with expo? This is my 1st 90mm 😮
Your right no elevator mix came in nice
Great review, nice flight and landing. I just picked up one of these NIB pretty cheap. It doesn’t have Navigation lights? That’s a bummer
Thank you very much for the review. You answered all the questions I had and you were right to the point! Best regards and keep safe!
That’s awesome I’m glad I could help! Enjoy!
great flight and landing. thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching really appreciate it
Can you please tell me your settings just for the aileron and elevator thank you
Nice flight nice landing
Good video and nice landing!
Thank you!
Awesome flight 🥰🥰🥰

Hey Brother great flight…just put mine together yesterday and was wondering what your throws in rates are ?
Honestly, I just binded up and made sure everything is set neutral and I fly at 100 percent
My next Jet 100%

Everything on mine is still completely stock no modifications done to the landing gear.

Thanks!
Have you flown an avanti? What is your thoughts on skill level to land this versus an avanti? I have heard this edf can almost be considered a first edf for an intermediate prop plane pilot.
If you can fly the Avanti I really think you can fly this it is very forgiving.
You like this or the Rafale better?
can you make it fly longer?
How much for each Sir?
Nice flight. What is your cg on your F22
Cg is about where the book indicated, I put my 5000 battery lined up with the rear of the battery hatch opening.
Do you ever wish you got the 8s? I'm looking to get this and have a bunch of 6s batteries already but nervous I might wish I got the 8s version.
No I don’t. My buddy has the 8s and we fly together not much different than maybe little more flight time and bottom end.
As asked before what is your c of g,I use jetworks 6000 mah in mine on a grass field

Gyro gains need to be adjusted you either need to lower your Giro gain or make it higher depending on the speed that you were talking about.
@@cormierrctrailers5177 I thought maybe it was trying to tip stall but I'll go back and watch some videos on the admiral receiver gyro gain setup . Thanks
It will tip stall only if you going to slow if you got wing rock at top speed then it is gyro gains.

You would have to watch one of the videos from motion where it says setting it to a two positions switch
@@cormierrctrailers5177 Got it!, Thanx. I by-passed this one earlier b/c I'm out of 2-position switches on my Dx8: Gear(A) and throttle cut(G)
What gyro are you using
Admiral receiver and gyro
Are you using a satellite with the receiver?
No I’m not
Get that reciever out of there up here on long island weve lost 5 airplanes with that reciever all jets
Ca can you fly this with 4000 6s?
Yes I would recommend anywhere from 4000 to 6000
Patrick it all depends on the weight of your LiPo but sometimes powerful 4000 will makes you fly longer than bad quality 5000 😉
What's the Blue Box?
The blue box is where everything is mixed in the plane from the factory.
