You truly hit on many nuances of the ENTJ. Even little things, like at the end of the video you mention breaking things. When I was what I called clumsy or graceless - running into a coffee table, for example- my ex would say I was just impatient and somehow expected to move through it! Later on I realized how true this was. He's INFP, and I noticed other INFPs commenting. INFPs: you have an uncanny ability to read people. As an ENTJ I want that!!! Each type really does have unique gifts (Gifts Differing, book) and ENTJs just love getting things DONE!!!!
Fellow ENTJ... the fact that you mentioned you watched this to the end is a testimony. We BURN through words, books, ideas, knowledge... so someone needs to provide new and exciting insights to get our attention! Little known ENTJ fact. :)
I had a literature/essay teacher back in highschool which I think was an ENTJ. My first impression of her was 'scary/strict', but after a while, I got to see and appreciate how she did things. The last year of highschool was really stressful/chaotic since we had to think about entrance exams and which college/uni we wanted to attend... This teacher was one of the few that actually taught useful stuff (things that would help us on the exams) and didn't care much whether we attended cram school or not, she still taught us what she thought was important. She didn't want to miss classes and chose to teach through dialogues. She would make us have a dialogue on a topic and would interfere to dismiss ideas that were not relevant or useful and note the ones that she found important to remember. She was so well informed, not only on matters that had to do with her field, she even knew about which uni was better depending on what we wanted to do in the future. She wasn't everyone's favourite, but I can't deny that in the end her lessons were helpful. P.S. Maybe she is not ENTJ, but that is the 'vibe' I got from her and how focused she was on what she was doing. Edit : saw another comment saying that ENTJs have a powerful voice and are confident and had to add this too, since my teacher definitely had those characteristics, which were why I first thought she was scary but later on found that to be super attractive/cool in her character. It looked like she knew what she was doing. -INFP

Do not be vulnerable with other people. Being invulnerable is not fake. We don’t act like we are perfect. We think criticism is a gift. We will learn that we are wrong and adjust and move on. I love it when someone teaches me something. Being vulnerable is not good advice. We are very capable of it. And every single time it causes us harm because people do not know how to communicate with us. Maybe you can use being vulnerable to your advantage but we cannot. We will get shanked. We do not show vulnerability because we KNOW that someone will use it against us. We have feelings. We have very deep feelings. Very strong feelings. We are just very very protective of them because if you hurt them (again it takes a lot to hurt them) but if they get hurt, it is devastating to us. We have very little practice with managing our emotions because we don’t use them very much.
Entj here 🤚 and I am still identifying what MBTI type this guy I know is. He does not seems to get me, he dislikes classiness(I know this has nothing to do with whatever type he is, but it could add up along with the passing details I am about to add regardless, if you are getting my point) HIS WAY OF INSULTING OR TEASING OTHERS, DOES NOT SOUNDS LIKE AN INSULT AT ALL, IT DOES NOT HURTS AS WELL, CAUSE IT MORE SOUNDS LIKE HE IS INSULTING HIMSELF, for example he judges someone as annoying and evil (let's keep it simple like that, so everyone can understand it easily) he would post on twitter "I am too annoying because I deny that I am evil" WHILE the person he is trying to target is not even evil and does not sees him or herself as annoying, so he/she and most people assumes IT'S ABOUT HIMSELF, yet he is confident that it should make his target feel insulted, but it's not. HE IS RELIGIOUS, BUT HATES THE IDEA OF COMMITMENT IN MARRIAGE, HE IS MARRIED WITH SOMEONE I ALSO KNOW NOW but he prefers to not take responsibilities and enjoys more time away from his wife. He loves car racing. He is more on his DARK SIDE, he does RUDE pranks, he snatched the wig of his cousin that was suffering from cancer, he loves to hack people's internet and disconnect them for fun, THIS YEAR HIS PRANK LED HIM TO JAIL, because HE EXCHANGED THE NAMES OF THE COVID19 patience who are positive with the negative ones, while the negative to positive, FOR EXAMPLE YOU WERE TESTED NEGATIVE, but HE EDITED YOUR RESULT AS POSITIVE. He believes he is only having fun and others are judging him for attacking him after what he just did. *He cannot accept my opinions about things, for example I would say I dislike Ellen Digeneres, he would assume I am judging her, IF I SAID I LOVE MUSTANG CARS, he would BELITTLE it and compare it to his kind of cars that it seemed like ONLY HIS CHOICES ARE THE BEST* he also COMPLAINS like if you give him a $900,000 SALARY he would say "That just half of my wallet" you give him good clothes he would compare it to other clothes that he sees it as better looking. HE EASILY GETS OFFENDED, even if it is not meant for him, FOR EXAMPLE, you call a maid as what it is a MAID, he would act hurt and tell you to call it a sister like a family member, IT SOUNDS GOOD I KNOW BUT, he turns that way in many situation even if it is obviously not needed. He is quick to point on someone's trait that HE DISLIKES even if it is not bad at all as INHUMANE. He has too much high expectations in human's quality FOR EXAMPLE YOU ARE A GENEROUS FRIEND TO HIM AND ALWAYS THERE WHEN YOU NEED HIM, the when you go do your own thing like working on your BUSINESS, he would later compare you with someone he saw HELPING THE HOMELESS PEOPLE, as if NOTHING ABOUT YOU IS ENOUGH IN HIS EYES. Does this MBTI type sound familiar?
I have trouble finding my own type, tests simply don't work on me, when I read type descriptions I mostly identify myself as INTJ, however all tests (literally every test I took recently) point out I'm ENTJ. ENTJ description fits me to some extent, but not entirely. Being highly goal oriented and valuing logic, efficiency is true for me, I am also naturally good at organizing and planning but I'm not really successful in any way, I'm 18, and even in school I'm not doing that great, I see school as a waste of time as over 95% of the information learned there is just straight up useless and not applicable in practical matters. I know why tests mistype me as an ENTJ, some more detailed tests like sakinorva give score for each cognitive function, they showed that I scored ridiculously high on Te (Extraverted Thinking) and since the only Te dominant types are ENTJ and ESTJ, tests simply single them out and look for Ni vs Si difference, obviously, I have Ni > Si and therefore tests mistype me as ENTJ, this is just my assumption tho, could it be that I'm a rare INTJ with really high Te?
Nah forget it even if there is any other test it's useless at this point as I know too much about cognitive functions and ENTJs and INTJs and typology in general
I don't think I need to be born ENTJ, I mean I do naturally have organization skills but, everyone can learn it if they want to. As for confidence, not giving up, always looking to improve etc. that's really a mindset which you can develop I think ENTJ skills in particular are possible to learn, especially if you're already naturally NT type which has high intuition and thinking, all you need to work on then is practical logic, and application of that logic and stepping out of introvert comfort zone if necessary, if you ask me, ENTJ skills seem possible not just possible to learn but to master as well, first step towards becoming one is accepting you're not one and looking for ways to become one, at least that's my opinion, if you ask me, I'm INTJ with really high Te so tests often mistake me for ENTJ, but still I think I can be ENTJ when necessary
I can explain, ENTJ actually uses Te (extraverted thinking) as dominant function, which is merely supported by secondary function Ni (introverted thinking) Ni is the imaginative function, future oriented, it's focused on creating new ideas, seeing possibilities concepts, from within which later feeds to Te Te is the most dominant function of ENTJ, Te is focused getting things done, it's focused on structuring and organizing the outer world in order to achieve whatever objective Ni sets Examples : Ni - would be my idea to become successful tennis player (it's an idea which came from within my inner desire) Te - structures the outside world in a way to achieve the set objective, it gathers information from the outside world (facts on training programs for example, which one is the best, how others became good at the game etc.) in order to find the best, most efficient way, organize adequate training program and plan out how will the goal be achieved, but Te isn't only about planning, Te is also about working this plan and achieving it
@@Solarqueenthesoverign No because I am talking about my workplace specifically, I am sure that ENTJ's surpass INFPs significantly in other areas. I did specify 'at MY workplace' - not generally.
