I absolutely love when people get into their craft, it’s been a while since I had a game with new and INTERESTING dialogue.
To be fair, Beerus and Whis are recent characters, but the fact that even their acting is fantastic speaks a lot to the actors' talent and/or the excellent voice direction.
Even Beerus managed to get a couple of roasts in the game against Bulma. Pretty much everyone got roasted at least once...

This is so clever, I like how the game basically inserts you as the player controlling the DBZ characters and is part of the story. It also explains why you're not OP as fuck as Goku or Vegeta

But yet he's a God. It would be biased for a God itself to get in matters that shouldn't bother a God.
The only time he did help, was because someone was indirectly threatening him. Also, this isn't something you should ask a god, that his works is mostly to destroy, to help others. This should be asked to the Supreme Kai, who seeks for balance in their universe.
They should have more scenes. They rarely have screentime on games.
Who thought these stilted constant pausing in conversations was a good idea?

Because it's a fighting game first and a DBZ game second. Of course they needed a story mode, but it wasn't their top priority. And these, while stilted and a tad weird looking, still work just fine.
Because it gives people a chance to read the subtitles, if they're either deaf, or playing in japanese (or another language) with subtitles in their own (assuming their own language is even available). A lot of games do that.

I’m pretty sure someone is actively controlling the cutscenes. Meaning, pressing X (PlayStation), A (XBOX), etc.
It wasn’t anything new when I played Blazblue and this is an Arcsys game.

Honestly they should have said the Waves also affect and weaken the gods in some way too.(and also its weird due to how Vegeta and Goku possessed God Ki but were still affected by the waves too. If I am looking at this right.)
Because Beerus and Whis's presence just fucks up the villain's threats here since if he does step in, they would be instantly done for.
