This channel has taught me so much. I used to see people in this state and think it was tied to self will. Now I know that many of the people who you have interviewed in this state, it’s trauma. They are showing physical manifestations of trauma. I wish everyone was made to sit down and watch these interviews, it would change the world.
Traumas and pathologies! I see a lot of people blaming parents but imagine the life their parents had and before them! It’s like a multi mirror image. Until someone breaks the cycle it unfortunately repeats!

In general, life ain't easy regardless of how others may make it appear. And we mustn't judge ourselves to others. Don't believe the things you see in this world under the guise of "glamour" or even "happiness". We are "human" and all too often, humans/people fail us. It is through those failures, betrayals, back-stabbings, two-faced actions that gradually adversely affect our spirits, our self-esteemes, our very souls. ... However, it's my belief that this "life" is the stepping stone to opening our hearts to God in Heaven. Personally, having endured all of the above let-downs by husbands, family, friends, and associates, I grew closer to God as it was He, and only He, who nestled me under His wing where I was able to cry and to feel safe. It's an inner journey that saved me emotionally then, and I find that I still have to return to that safe place from time-to-time. Each time, my Father welcomes me with open arms. I'm alone but I'm not alone, nor lonely because God IS Love and He will NEVER fail me.

It was raw pain. So many of these people are completely muddled about how to help themselves. It would take an army of outreach, case workers and counselors to make a dent in the level of anguish these people suffer.

There are quite a few people here who do not support capitalism. We are not the people whose voices go international, though, for the most part. The rewards are saved for those who pledge allegiance to the current system. Even most who do are not rewarded. You can see plenty of evidence of that in these videos! I hope you keep trying to spread awareness.
She doesn't realize it but her dignity and mental clarity are completely in tact. She has a gentle soul. Her childlike trust and soft spoken demeanor ... I thought she was far younger than her age. She has deep wounds from all the betrayal and traumas but she is not destroyed by them. Healing, counseling and recovery would help her blossom.
How would she pay for it? The free help isn't all that great...if she's left alone by herself she won't be strong enough to recover. She needs around the clock, one on one help to get a chance. Once your alone your brain falls apart again.

I know. I was thinking about how many people say it's a stupid communist idea to provide tampons and pads for free in public restrooms. I want to get her supplies, it's terrible. Everywhere she goes people don't want her. This is why I think it is a crime, a shame for the shelters to demand these people be sober before they can start to get off the streets. They should get them into housing and then, if the people are willing, they might start to get off drugs. This way is not working. This woman should have one of the free phones available, food stamps, etc., but I see why it's difficult. No place to store things, no place to shower, they should put these poor human beings into shelter and housing, FIRST. I want to send clothes, shoes, sigh.

There is a link to his Gofundme. The reason why RUclipsrs don't usually get involved in being an intermediary is because homeless people like her have already been victimized by strangers on the street. There's no way for him to know who's who and what their true intentions would be. She also would have to have a cellphone--she doesn't even have anywhere to lay her head or plug in a charger, and even if she did, she's constantly being robbed, or otherwise losing every single thing she owns that's not on her back. Also, like most others, she has an addiction problem. So sending money to them directly would mean most likely they'd end up getting high, and then be back to flat broke with nowhere to go, no food or water. She's a nice person, but she is still suffering from addiction and severe emotional trauma. The guy who runs the channel can't manage funds for several dozen people, and watch over them day and night. It's ultimately a problem of logistics, and the need for various treatment. Simply sending money or well wishes alone will not fix anything.

he may not judge them but this type of format for unfortunate people is degrading to both the viewer and subject/person in the video. it is at the level of centuries ago when people would tour prisons and stare in the cells at the prisoner. this would be so much more helpful if it had a before and after story line. hauling a woman in front of the camera like this where she is revealing her greatest traumas and shame is like playing with fire.

But when the interview is over they are alone again, back to Hell. It isn't like they will now be helped, it's back to the street and the interview is soon forgotten. They may even feel worse because they may have thought they will get help from it, but nothing happens. Maybe why they are willing to get interviewed is because they get some money for doing it.

All of the people interviewed are there willingly, they know exactly what they are signing up for and what he intends to do with the content. He pays them generously to do the interview, and the vast majority do end up coming back for a follow-up interview. At the end of most videos you will see that Mark offers them immediate help. He helps get them in touch with resources of all variety, sets up rides, sets many of them up in hotels that same day, feeds them, puts some money in their pocket, and he really cares about them and for those that truly want the help, with his help they get the ball rolling so that they can get off the streets and better themselves. From what it sounds like, you think he manipulates them into sharing their traumas and exploits them for views, and when it's all over he kicks them back to the curb. Luckily that's the farthest thing from what he truly is doing. And on top of everything, once the interview is posted they're able to see the comments and see the outpouring love and support from complete strangers, and for some it may be more love and support then they've ever received, even from their own family and friends. They're reminded that they are worthy, that they still have a chance and luckily they have someone fighting for their life right alongside them. I'm very thankful that Mark has been able to create a movement with so much power behind it. Even if you watch just a few of his videos it becomes easy to see that he's not using people's pain and suffering for clout. He uses his platform wisely and because of it has been able to help so many people better their lives, and even more so, he's been able to open the eyes of people across the globe who may have been unaware of these sensitive topics completely. So many times stories like these are just swept under the rug, and people live their whole entire lives not even realizing just how bad our oh so perfect, sparkling country really is for MANY Americans. Please give these videos a chance, so many of these stories will touch your heart and it's amazing to see that there is still compassion in this world that oftentimes feels so cold and brutal.

The trauma she experienced in childhood may have caused her some developmental challenges. Her speech pattern is Iike that of a little girl whose been hurt over and over and over again. Resilience of the human spirit is remarkable.

And if she does reach out to him and he turns his back to her, then what? She will feel even worse. She's afraid to take that chance...I would be too. Also, she said that she feels she isn't in a state of being that would bring him any joy. She feels it's better to stay away from him. I understand that, but, it would be wonderful if he accepted her and helped her, she just is too afraid to take the chance and feels she would only mess him up.
My heart literally breaks for her. I just don't understand how a human can treat another human in these horrific ways! Nobody deserves to be treated like this. Her life has been destroyed by one disgusting person after another! She needs love!

I have a human-to-human love for this woman. She's been through sheer hell and her gentle spirit has been viciously violated all her life. My heart aches for her. Though my expenses are limited, how can I help her?

This just touch me so much. She opened my eyes to so much. I live in Canada and i think i want to do something on my own to hand out feminine hygiene products to women who are homeless.
So sad. She is completely aware of her situation, how she got there and what she should do. With no support system makes it very hard. My opinion only. I hope she gets help and reconnects with her son.

Your work is eye opening! A friend sent me the first video and then I became hooked. I agree 100%, those that think they are above or cast judgement should be sat down and made to watch. Some of your work would be fantastic if shown in treatment facilities.This Lady needed to tell her story. Im so sad for her.She needs and deserves a hand up. A new location a tiny home perhaps and someone or a program somewhere to teach her life skills. I don't believe that some would benefit from these suggestions as I have a younger sister who has lived the streets you 20+ years . When given opportunities she simply declines and chooses to live on the streets. I feel some would be very similar. Some would take advantage but Maria , I feel would utilize every tool put in front of her! It would be such a blessing to see these things and more happen for her. It would be such a blessing for her to be given the chance to gain some confidence and self love. Do something she's proud of not terrified . perhaps then she would feel worthy of seeing and being a part of her sons life! Would love to see another interview with her after she gained services. I seen this at least a year ago or more when I 1st discovered this channel. I have caught up and watch every one of them at the exception of a few pimp interviews. I searched for this one today, watched it again, because she’s one of the people Mark has spoken with I never forgot with such a sad life story. I hope she’s alive and better. It would be incredible to know she got herself out of this hell. She’s been through so much suffering. I truly hope she found a way.

I say that all the time. When there is a wild animal on the lose authorities are quick to use tranquilizers. If a human being is wild and just breaking the law they would rather go ahead and kill the person.
This channel has taught me so much. I used to see people in this state and think it was tied to self will. Now I know that many of the people who you have interviewed in this state, it’s trauma. They are showing physical manifestations of trauma. I wish everyone was made to sit down and watch these interviews, it would change the world.
Traumas and pathologies! I see a lot of people blaming parents but imagine the life their parents had and before them! It’s like a multi mirror image. Until someone breaks the cycle it unfortunately repeats!

In general, life ain't easy regardless of how others may make it appear. And we mustn't judge ourselves to others. Don't believe the things you see in this world under the guise of "glamour" or even "happiness". We are "human" and all too often, humans/people fail us. It is through those failures, betrayals, back-stabbings, two-faced actions that gradually adversely affect our spirits, our self-esteemes, our very souls. ... However, it's my belief that this "life" is the stepping stone to opening our hearts to God in Heaven. Personally, having endured all of the above let-downs by husbands, family, friends, and associates, I grew closer to God as it was He, and only He, who nestled me under His wing where I was able to cry and to feel safe. It's an inner journey that saved me emotionally then, and I find that I still have to return to that safe place from time-to-time. Each time, my Father welcomes me with open arms. I'm alone but I'm not alone, nor lonely because God IS Love and He will NEVER fail me.

Yes he asked her one question and she couldn’t stop talking. She needed this release, she needed to get all her off her chest. She’s take without stopping, because she has to much go say and found someone who would listen!!! I pray she find her peace of mind.
It was raw pain. So many of these people are completely muddled about how to help themselves. It would take an army of outreach, case workers and counselors to make a dent in the level of anguish these people suffer.

I know. I was thinking about how many people say it's a stupid communist idea to provide tampons and pads for free in public restrooms. I want to get her supplies, it's terrible. Everywhere she goes people don't want her. This is why I think it is a crime, a shame for the shelters to demand these people be sober before they can start to get off the streets. They should get them into housing and then, if the people are willing, they might start to get off drugs. This way is not working. This woman should have one of the free phones available, food stamps, etc., but I see why it's difficult. No place to store things, no place to shower, they should put these poor human beings into shelter and housing, FIRST. I want to send clothes, shoes, sigh.

I've asked to help people from other videos, too. He didn't respond. Wish there was a way to contact these people and help them. It's probably a liability for him or something if anything bad would happen, maybe he would held accountable? Idk.
There is a link to his Gofundme. The reason why RUclipsrs don't usually get involved in being an intermediary is because homeless people like her have already been victimized by strangers on the street. There's no way for him to know who's who and what their true intentions would be. She also would have to have a cellphone--she doesn't even have anywhere to lay her head or plug in a charger, and even if she did, she's constantly being robbed, or otherwise losing every single thing she owns that's not on her back. Also, like most others, she has an addiction problem. So sending money to them directly would mean most likely they'd end up getting high, and then be back to flat broke with nowhere to go, no food or water. She's a nice person, but she is still suffering from addiction and severe emotional trauma. The guy who runs the channel can't manage funds for several dozen people, and watch over them day and night. It's ultimately a problem of logistics, and the need for various treatment. Simply sending money or well wishes alone will not fix anything.
Did anyone find her FB page or anything? I'd like to help her as well.

Iris Marie Scott Yes! When people say Mark doesn’t “do anything to help,” they underestimate the power of the media. What he is doing to get this out there in the public eye is gold.
I have never felt such compassion. Her wounds run so deep, and I would love to see her safe. I hope she finds some measure of safety, comfort. Her kind soul deserves so much more.

he may not judge them but this type of format for unfortunate people is degrading to both the viewer and subject/person in the video. it is at the level of centuries ago when people would tour prisons and stare in the cells at the prisoner. this would be so much more helpful if it had a before and after story line. hauling a woman in front of the camera like this where she is revealing her greatest traumas and shame is like playing with fire.
@@jv-ep2tc this is free therapy for themwhen they have no medical insurance who can they talk to who is going to help them out there but Mark they come looking for Mark I understand your point when the question is asked do you have friends do you got somebody you can trust the majority say no so to whom else can they talk to and feel safe God bless you we all can learn from these story's
But when the interview is over they are alone again, back to Hell. It isn't like they will now be helped, it's back to the street and the interview is soon forgotten. They may even feel worse because they may have thought they will get help from it, but nothing happens. Maybe why they are willing to get interviewed is because they get some money for doing it.

All of the people interviewed are there willingly, they know exactly what they are signing up for and what he intends to do with the content. He pays them generously to do the interview, and the vast majority do end up coming back for a follow-up interview. At the end of most videos you will see that Mark offers them immediate help. He helps get them in touch with resources of all variety, sets up rides, sets many of them up in hotels that same day, feeds them, puts some money in their pocket, and he really cares about them and for those that truly want the help, with his help they get the ball rolling so that they can get off the streets and better themselves. From what it sounds like, you think he manipulates them into sharing their traumas and exploits them for views, and when it's all over he kicks them back to the curb. Luckily that's the farthest thing from what he truly is doing. And on top of everything, once the interview is posted they're able to see the comments and see the outpouring love and support from complete strangers, and for some it may be more love and support then they've ever received, even from their own family and friends. They're reminded that they are worthy, that they still have a chance and luckily they have someone fighting for their life right alongside them. I'm very thankful that Mark has been able to create a movement with so much power behind it. Even if you watch just a few of his videos it becomes easy to see that he's not using people's pain and suffering for clout. He uses his platform wisely and because of it has been able to help so many people better their lives, and even more so, he's been able to open the eyes of people across the globe who may have been unaware of these sensitive topics completely. So many times stories like these are just swept under the rug, and people live their whole entire lives not even realizing just how bad our oh so perfect, sparkling country really is for MANY Americans. Please give these videos a chance, so many of these stories will touch your heart and it's amazing to see that there is still compassion in this world that oftentimes feels so cold and brutal.
@ 9:28 I respect what she begin to state...Her addiction has everything to do with her trying to run from the constant demons of her childhood. My heart hurts for what she has been through. People take advantage of her being cognitively delayed and her being so easy to trust. Her safety and brighter future are in my prayers.🙏🏾

I wish the Gov’t would invest more money and resources towards these people. She just needs a chance, imagine not having anything, no family, no friends, no safety, not a glass of water, so very sad.

The trauma she experienced in childhood may have caused her some developmental challenges. Her speech pattern is Iike that of a little girl whose been hurt over and over and over again. Resilience of the human spirit is remarkable.

Also, she said that she feels she isn't in a state of being that would bring him any joy. She feels it's better to stay away from him. I understand that, but, it would be wonderful if he accepted her and helped her, she just is too afraid to take the chance and feels she would only mess him up.

This poor lady needs someplace where she can lay her head in peace! Dear God! Is that too much to provide a fellow human being? She’s can’t begin to heal until she first finds physical safety. This broke my heart.
Childhood abuse and neglect is a public health crisis.
This video made me feel so bad, She seems like such a sweet and thoughtful person, and deserves so much better.
She highlighted so many small things that I take for granted in my life that I never even really gave a second thought. Thank you Maria for teaching me how to help and to be grateful. I hope you find peace.

This channel is doing the right thing then, glad to hear it has humbled you.
I have a human-to-human love for this woman. She's been through sheer hell and her gentle spirit has been viciously violated all her life. My heart aches for her. Though my expenses are limited, how can I help her?

And In almost EVERY case, it goes back to Really traumatic Childhood. As for the people who leave nasty comments, I can't even read them, those people wouldn't last A DAY out there! I don't watch the pimp interviews either, not out of being judgmental, but as an Empath, feeling that rotten energy is not good for me. Such a beautiful woman but broken and full of sadness. She needs to reach out to her son and tell him how much she is sorry no matter if he accepts her apology or not. She really needed this interview just to let it all out.

It is so important for these folks to be able to speak their truth and share their experiences, most of which are unimaginable to the average person. Your work is eye opening! A friend sent me the first video and then I became hooked. I agree 100%, those that think they are above or cast judgement should be sat down and made to watch. Some of your work would be fantastic if shown in treatment facilities.This Lady needed to tell her story. Im so sad for her.She needs and deserves a hand up. A new location a tiny home perhaps and someone or a program somewhere to teach her life skills. I don't believe that some would benefit from these suggestions as I have a younger sister who has lived the streets you 20+ years . When given opportunities she simply declines and chooses to live on the streets. I feel some would be very similar. Some would take advantage but Maria , I feel would utilize every tool put in front of her! It would be such a blessing to see these things and more happen for her. It would be such a blessing for her to be given the chance to gain some confidence and self love. Do something she's proud of not terrified . perhaps then she would feel worthy of seeing and being a part of her sons life! Would love to see another interview with her after she gained services. I'm sure she has a beautiful heart and a smile to pair with it would be a blessing. Prayers to you Maria, one foot in front of the other. I find it so concerning that so many of these ladies that were molested when they were younger, would tell their mothers, but were never believed.
I believe this is such a HUGGGGGE problem in the black communities.. where children confide in the ONE person who should believe in them (mothers) and protect them and they aren’t believed.. instead call them liars or sweep it under the rug!

I seen this at least a year ago or more when I 1st discovered this channel. I have caught up and watch every one of them at the exception of a few pimp interviews. I searched for this one today, watched it again, because she’s one of the people Mark has spoken with I never forgot with such a sad life story. I hope she’s alive and better. It would be incredible to know she got herself out of this hell. She’s been through so much suffering. I truly hope she found a way.

Thank you Mark. Maria _is_ a civilized human being who is living an absolute uncivilized nightmare. Thank you for helping her and allowing _us_ to help via your Patreon. I am overwhelmed so I cannot even _fathom_ what Maria is feeling or how overwhelmed YOU must be there meeting all of the people around you and feeling like there is not a chance in hell we can help _everyone_ . Maria exemplifies, IMO, the horror of homelessness, addiction, loneliness and the possible extreme end result of issues that may stem from the lack of at _least_ a two parent childhood.
I will be visiting the other orgs you've given us information on. I've come to realize Patreon is not enough.
If you see this, (I will also email you directly) and there is a place where Maria is safe and can receive an email I'd like to strike up a correspondence with her. She can use as many friends as she can tolerate at this time. I didn't even look at the date of this but I hope Maria has her basic needs meet at this time.

I say that all the time. When there is a wild animal on the lose authorities are quick to use tranquilizers. If a human being is wild and just breaking the law they would rather go ahead and kill the person.
