I was abused in my daycare as a child. I went to that daycare from 1 month old to 4 years old. I was dang near a teenager before I realized what had happened to me and how it had followed me and destroyed me. My nephew and I didn't tell my mom until we were in our late twenties. I just have times that I have to catch myself and remember I don't have to do certain things.

I was dang near a teenager before I realized what had happened to me and how it had followed me and destroyed me. My nephew and I didn't tell my mom until we were in our late twenties. She tries to convince herself that she is confident and strong but when he asked the question where do you see yourself in the future I could tell it struck a nerve and that it upset her especially her answer "ten toes down"
@Kristen J- i was waiting to see if anybody else picked that up. She is right u CAN'T say she ugly. BUT she is damaged n she is hurt. She didnt really have no childhood and no real adult life either accept behind bars (all her 20s n some of her 30s) thats why she is well preserved like she said. But that life is dangerous. On ANOTHER RUclips channel a woman was murdered shortly after her interview CHOCOLATE was her name n she reminds me of her. Strong Beautiful and about her "paper". I still pray that yhe Hod she spoke about and obviously knows be allowed in to show her something different im not sure she would take that road.

This channel has really taught me the importance of giving children a strong and healthy childhood.
This is one of the many interviews I’ve watched, but this one by far touched me the most. Her story begins like so many of our stories... “molested as a child”. Regardless of where she is now, she is strong & confident. No b.s. with her, she could be a mentor to so many of your young black girls. I really felt this. Diamond touched my heart today. I would never have guessed she didn't get through at least some high school... she presents herself and speaks better than some college graduates these days.
I really pray she finds the path that will lead to her living her best life. The end of the video really tugged at my heart. Sending all my hugs and love and prayers.
Just imagine if she’d have the opportunity when she was young what she would have accomplished. Life makes you hard when you don’t live that lifestyle style. I really think this was one of the best interviews I’ve seen. You can see underneath all that hardness she was still very honest about her lifestyle and let a glimpse of her vulnerability show.
