Helldivers 2 has to be one of my favorite games of all time I really enjoy keeping in touch with the community and seeing how the story is influenced. Tbh it's a shame that I can't play the game since I don't have the bucks.
When you finally liberated the Creek but then the bots are pissed and send literally EVERYTHING to take it back. We got flyers and giant fucking walkers now 😨
I wish I was able to fight in Malevelon Creek. I got into the game too late. I hope that we have another sort of thing like that. (Specifically for a unique cape 🤷🏼♂️)
Malevelon Creek was something best experienced than explained. The fact that no matter where you looked there was robots… everywhere and you didn’t even complete your first objective out of three. The trees were speaking, the sky was red, and your down by 15 reinforcements…
A song you didn't mention in the description is at 0:20, it's a song from Vinland Saga. Although it seems that it's actually from the original clip so it's understandable if you didn't recognize it
I legit only bought the game without even fully knowing what it was about because I kept seeing tiktok videos about the Creek and how the community was full into it. I deployed there in my first games and I wish to go back whenever it is relevant again.
I was just regular citizen when the fall of the Creek spread through the Super Earth, Glory to Liberty! It was such a saddening news… I was filled with righteous fury to get back at these bots… Then I enlisted… Completed my training and I am now a Helldiver! I won’t rest till the bots and every enemy of humanity is gone from our galaxy. Glory to Freedom! Glory to Democracy! Glory to Super Earth!
this video popped up in my recommended page today, and man, I really miss the months when Helldivers 2 was at its peak in player base. Everyone was roleplaying as a Helldiver and even mainstream media commented on the events of the game. Good times
The heroic arc for Helldivers 2 will be the Xbox players joining the fray. It is only a matter of time before me and my brethren will join the fight...
I bought this game just as Malevelon creek was falling, I was up at level 5 when I realized, I was fighting on the wrong front. So when I finally saw the major order and was like wtf? I quickly flew to the bot front and did my part :( But it was too little too late.
The transmission in the start hyped me up to fight the bots in the first place. You can't just threaten me with a good time and expect nothing to come of it. Seen many deployments to both Malevelon Creek and Mantes. Trying to defend the latter since we're losing it pretty hard rn.
I was there, with my brothers and sisters to my left and right. ChatGPT..I mean The Automatons were moving in force. No matter how we pressed them, another platoon of them would hit us in the flank. What no one warns you about is The heat in the jungle at night, it is unbelievable. My visors readout told me 95°f. with 100% humidity. The fireflies moving through the ferns kept me on edge, always thinking another Communist Bot was lurking in the endless gloom. The sound of Eagles dropping ordinance throughout the night was added to the bizzare and haunting sounds of a jungle at night. Then at 3:30 am I saw the red flash tear through the trees. Hopper was trying to catch a few Z’s while he had the chance. He was leaned up against a rock to my left. The seared no red laser round hit him right above his right eye. Hopper never woke up from that nap…..Within moments the bots were everywhere! Red light shone through the foliage, like a communist forest fire, threatening our Democracy. I immediately called for Artillery fire. Dead air…the Arty was overrun. I called Eagle one for an Airstrike. Dead Air. All combat aviation was either engaged or shot down. I racked a round into my Stalwart, and laid down a base of fire. Gomez and Hayes moved up my left and opened with their Liberators. Gomez was hit immediately by a rocket and blown in half. Atleast she died quick. Hayes saw Gomez’s wrecked frame and began to lose his cool. He panicked and stood up and tried to run. He was almost sawn in half by heavy automatic laser fire immediately. I was now alone. My brothers and sisters littered the jungle floor around me. The rage I felt will never leave me, it’s in my bones now. I began to move along what was our defensive line, finding the bodies of more and more of my fellow Helldivers. I picked up what ammo I could and continued to the radio outpost down the hill. A crimson wave of clanking and jibbering bots never far behind me. I could hear heavy MG and Gatling turret fire nearby so I began to move much quicker towards it. I found 3 Helldivers holding an extraction point with everything they had. The beacon was lit so a pelican was inbound. I called out to them as I erupted from the foliage. They quickly shoved an ammo cam into my hands and without a word I got to work. Every drop of oil I spilled, only seemed to enrage me further. I swapped my Stakwart for a Heavy MG when my barrels were overheated and cooking off rounds. I tore through Not after Not who wandered into my sector of fire. A crisp crackle over the radio, it was the Pelican pilot. He was 30 seconds out. We went full cyclic, mowing down trooper bots and keeping the smarter ones in cover. The pelican rushed in from the indigo night sky and tore up the armored bots with its 30mm nose cannon. The bird touched down and dropped ramp. Laser rounds bounced off it’s hull and went off in all directions. We dove into the transport bay and the pilot was already lifting off. I knelt by the ramp looking down and the dark jungle, crawling with red lights and freedom hating bots. There was a beauty to it all, a sort of chaotic dance to it all. A person who didn’t know what kind of death stalked the jungle may have seen the beauty of wild and untamed nature. All I could see were thousands of young warriors piled dead below me. There was no tim for tears, just time to refit, reload and re-deploy. It’s been ….I don’t know how long since I was last here; watching my squad mates die. Days? Weeks? Doesn’t matter now because I am back here on Malevelon Creek tonight. Where I’ve dedicated myself to slowly but surely ensuring the ground here is forever poisoned by the sheer quantity of oil I spill. Nothing will grow here, it will become a no man’s land. A quiet and desolate place where the thousands of our Honored Dead may rest in peace. Join me brothers and sisters, avenge our fallen, and defend our way of life. For Honor and Duty, and for Superearth!
My first step into that... Undemocratic place, was an unruly turn. It started easy! It was something that I was mildly surprised during my dive. Then. We were surrounded. Ship after ship. Robot after robot. We barely got out alive, we threw everything we had to get out.
To me it feels like Helldivers 2 is a big DnD Game. On the one side we got a DM (DungeonMaster) who steers the Story in a certain direction and at the other side we the players who play the story had an influence on it. This combination creates great and unique tales like Malevelon Creek.
I'm just glad I finally found a multiplayer game that I genuinely enjoy. For so long I've only had "meh" experiences with online gaming but this is something that I can actually say I'm looking forward to. I usually always create my own stories with games anyway and this simply boosts that.
I see malevelon creek as the battle of verdun of the 2nd galactic war, but unlike the verdun in ww1 malevelon creek fell to the invaders and the defenders felt the emotional whiplash from it.
I have some friends who ive been playing with the last couple weeks. I asked if they have ever been to Malevelon Creek. They said no. So i said...."its time to show you". We fought on the creek for 6 hours, and they now hate the robots as much as I do.
After staying solely in the battle for malevelon creek struggling and finally pushing back and winning we now have to retreat to help the bug boys squish there infestation. I ask where were all there troop when the creek needed defending and liberating. They fought the bugs the whole time only for them to push deeper toward super earth while so many brothers and sisters were slain at the creek. The casualties are uncountable, and the tragedy of pulling out of the war for the creek so close to victory, was undemocratic
Warhammer: "Remember Cadia" Halo: "Remember Reach" Helldivers 2: "Remember Malevalon Creek" the cycle repeats, but we shall take back Malevalon Creek if they give us another chance!

@@ThePhoenixScribeit’s not the firepower, me and 4 of my buddies have no issue smashing the bots with excessive orbital munitions usage, we lack manpower, the bot front rarely cracks 100k meanwhile the bug front is almost always over 100k in manpower, the bugs are fun but we’re out manned
I once met a nameless diver
Clad in bright orange and black
If I only knew that he
Was never to come back
I dropped into the Creek that day
Alone and scared as hell
2 others came at my request
We fought and we fought well
The robots kept on coming
As we fought against the tide
My rocket screamed into the next
The fire bursting high
A hand upon my shoulder
As suddenly I turned
There stood the nameless Diver
Somehow unconcerned
He loaded the next missile
The wave was nearly done
We heard the call for extract
Not a word said as we run
The Pelican comes swooping
As a tank rolls in the rear
But atop it stood the diver
Somehow absent of all fear
I beg of him to join us
As he takes a final stand
The last thing I remember
The image of his severed hand
And torso
And
Head
His insignias lay barren
His name now masked by blood
Burned away by fascist fires...
I don't...
Want to remember...
His screams...
The echo...
...
...
it can't be my fault...
right?
Remember your fallen heros
And listen to this veteran speak
Of the nameless, brave helldiver
Who perished, at the Creek
(Based on a true story. A game glitch resulted in a helldiver with no name, rank, or indicator of any kind.
He lies nameless, but his cause has no need for one)
I love this. Please continue to do these
I still wake up at Night, screaming in fear . Telling myself to get it back together and dive in again
this scared me i was doing malevalon all day and just took a shower and saw this thumbnail😭
I imagine like the dictator radio of Just Cause 3 - *Starting Song* "We have decided to give up Mavelon Creek so we can come back in a blaze later on" *Ending Song*
dude if u did more videos like this of helldivers history that would be so fire
I'm a big fan of all these channels moving from one-trick coverage of bad games to variety good games :D
Hello Helldivers. I come from the future. And it is my honour to tell all of you that malevelon creek is ours.
as someone who personally fought on the creek tooth and nail until it was liberated, this brought genuine tears to my eyes, REMEMBER THE CREEK
Every community needs a Reach or Cadia to rally behind 💜 Damn too this day that last mission of Reach still hits different idk the whole campaign is actually pretty tragic on reflection like if you know you know like there's a point the campaign just shifts from building you up as a badass to just everyone dieing in increasingly more tragic ways 🥺😭
Helldivers 2 has to be one of my favorite games of all time
I really enjoy keeping in touch with the community and seeing how the story is influenced.
Tbh it's a shame that I can't play the game since I don't have the bucks.
When you finally liberated the Creek but then the bots are pissed and send literally EVERYTHING to take it back. We got flyers and giant fucking walkers now 😨
The Automaton menace has been crushed. Malevelon Creek is avenged!
I wish I was able to fight in Malevelon Creek. I got into the game too late. I hope that we have another sort of thing like that. (Specifically for a unique cape 🤷🏼♂️)
imagine the pitch meeting:
-"Starship Troopers infantry fighting T800s to the music of 28 Days Later"
_CEO sips tea_
-"..... go on?" oÕ
AND TODAY WE RECLAIMED THE CREEK!! FOR DEMOCRACY!!@
How epic do you want the intro to be?
Evan: Yes
THE SECOND WAR OF MALEVELON HAS STARTED! WE'RE TAKING IT BACK BOYS
Although it seems that it's actually from the original clip so it's understandable if you didn't recognize it
The veitnam war: did that tree speak Vietnamese.
Mean while on robot veitnam: did that tree just speak binary.
Proud to say we captured it after all this time. I salute all the soldiers who fell to get it
I wish i had experienced the creek. I joined kinda late because a PS5 was hard to get my hands on lol
I still have my creek cape for service
🫡 Same here brother. Never forget.
I legit only bought the game without even fully knowing what it was about because I kept seeing tiktok videos about the Creek and how the community was full into it. I deployed there in my first games and I wish to go back whenever it is relevant again.
whats the song at 1:20?
"The Still Cold World" from Frostpunk
When you said "the like button"
It fucking shimmered a rainbow, in sync. Wtaf RUclips
WE HAVE RETAKEN THE CREEK
I was just regular citizen when the fall of the Creek spread through the Super Earth, Glory to Liberty! It was such a saddening news… I was filled with righteous fury to get back at these bots… Then I enlisted… Completed my training and I am now a Helldiver! I won’t rest till the bots and every enemy of humanity is gone from our galaxy. Glory to Freedom! Glory to Democracy! Glory to Super Earth!
Love this, increasing the immersion ❤
this video popped up in my recommended page today, and man, I really miss the months when Helldivers 2 was at its peak in player base. Everyone was roleplaying as a Helldiver and even mainstream media commented on the events of the game. Good times
The heroic arc for Helldivers 2 will be the Xbox players joining the fray. It is only a matter of time before me and my brethren will join the fight...
Thousands of Spartans and Helljumpers stand at the ready. Remember Reach.
I bought this game just as Malevelon creek was falling, I was up at level 5 when I realized, I was fighting on the wrong front.
So when I finally saw the major order and was like wtf?
I quickly flew to the bot front and did my part :(
But it was too little too late.
IT IS FREE AT LAST! WE DID IT!
6th street music is perfect for space democracy
I can still hear the binary
The transmission in the start hyped me up to fight the bots in the first place. You can't just threaten me with a good time and expect nothing to come of it.
Seen many deployments to both Malevelon Creek and Mantes. Trying to defend the latter since we're losing it pretty hard rn.
Robot Space Vietnam is all I can ask from a video game honestly
Two things a helldivers never forgot; "Save the Children" and "The fall of Malvelelon Creek"
SIR THE TREE IS GENERTING CHATGPT
My first step into that... Undemocratic place, was an unruly turn. It started easy! It was something that I was mildly surprised during my dive. Then. We were surrounded. Ship after ship. Robot after robot. We barely got out alive, we threw everything we had to get out.
My God soldier.. Truly you've stared death in the face and lived to tell the tell. I'd love an interview one day about your tour.
I enlisted too late to fight at the Creek.
I missed this Battle for I have joined the Helldivers only two months ago.
But I‘m looking forward to the time when we take the Creek back!
Malevelon creek is back, help us spread democracy. No cowards will come out alive
Haha this video was fire. I feel like Evan is invigorated by this new Helldiver's content. FOR MALEVELON CREEK!
The best part about helldivers is that everyone playing helldivers is full on role playing a helldiver
I see malevelon creek as the battle of verdun of the 2nd galactic war, but unlike the verdun in ww1 malevelon creek fell to the invaders and the defenders felt the emotional whiplash from it.
I just joined the ranks and keep hearing about this creek.
I have some friends who ive been playing with the last couple weeks. I asked if they have ever been to Malevelon Creek. They said no. So i said...."its time to show you". We fought on the creek for 6 hours, and they now hate the robots as much as I do.
This must have been what the clones and the 501st felt when they were stuck on felucia.
I still remember the entry of Battelfront 2 (2005)
After staying solely in the battle for malevelon creek struggling and finally pushing back and winning we now have to retreat to help the bug boys squish there infestation. I ask where were all there troop when the creek needed defending and liberating. They fought the bugs the whole time only for them to push deeper toward super earth while so many brothers and sisters were slain at the creek. The casualties are uncountable, and the tragedy of pulling out of the war for the creek so close to victory, was undemocratic
5:43. This is quite literally just.....dnd style video game.
As soon as the video started talking about missions that suck with you, my first thought was "CURRENT OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE"
Warhammer: "Remember Cadia"
Halo: "Remember Reach"
Helldivers 2: "Remember Malevalon Creek"
the cycle repeats, but we shall take back Malevalon Creek if they give us another chance!
