Jay annoyed me. She was just as mean, hateful, unhonest. I wish i was on this season because i wouldve been calling out every single hypocrisy when they tried me lol
Absolutely as soon as they showed a little frustration, they would be pegged as the angry black woman, either by production or the straight black males, the powers that be
I found some scenes with Lindsey puzzling, like when they caught her on film in the mornings seemingly thinking aloud, or chatting to herself about the gameplay or happenings in the house. 😅
The women who were untrustworthy got their nickers in a knot when they were not ranked higher in regard to their trustworthiness and leadership... rotflmao 😂
How is Julie throwing off her game by aligning with the men? Didnt you hear Tolu and Winnie say they wanted her out. She didn't feel safe and her strategy made sense in her case.
Julie is the reason for the strife in the house. As the game goes, it looks like they'd accept 4 winners, meaning if she didn't let her relationship with Jake cast doubts with the girls and make them accountable to 6 people instead, those three could've stayed loyal and never need to backstab one another. And she proved them right when Winnie had her back against the wall, she refused to vote against Jake. I only hate that they were targeting Jake knowing that would make her defensive.
Tolu and winnie played that so stupidly lol they shouldve been like "alright. Were sorry. We did play hard and we were a little mean. But we are sorry. Blah blah blah. Lets all keep the money and move on with our lifes" SOMETHING. And then them 2 couldve voted ANYWAYS and they possibly wouldve been able to stay in the game for the rest of the time.
Winnie and Tolu were showing more than just a little frustration. They were aggressive and mean, especially towards Julie. The tables turned and they could not handle it. I’m a black man, and I could not pull for them any longer. They were rightly split up.
Love the review , think Brian technically has more money than Julie cause he took 30k whereas she took 15k so that plus what ever is in the pot makes her second . It’s all about how they feel about her lying about it though cause she was with Brian when she took the offer and did lie to him straight up. As for players being more cut throat and strategic this season feels more like early season Survivor where the best strat is the best social game and as much as the guys have been all happy family Gaspare and Brian have never been targeted cause of their social game. Playing safe is actually rewarding as it stands now, They will need to change it up in season 2 to make it more cut throat.
I also thought the whole "bird of a different feather" comment could be alluding to Bryce being more of a flamboyant type and maybe to his sexuality (?), idk... Which wouldn't surprise me considering that Brian seems to be very religious and probably coming from a community that is very much like him. With that said, I didn't necessarily perceive it as a malicious comment and wasn't mad about it. It's okay to not know how to approach certain things when you haven't been exposed to them all that much (hypothesising that he was referring to Bryce's supposed queerness and the fact that it's harder to find a lot of openly queer people in small conservative communities). It just came off a bit clumsy. Regarding Lindsey, I don't think she deserved that much anger being directed at her. She's playing a game and making allies depending on how people treat her. Would Tolù and Winnie have ended up eliminating her at the end of the game, were they still allies? It's likely. They didn't have much of a relationship, from what was shown to us, and both of them talked about eliminating as many people as possible from the first episode to get a bigger chunk of the trust. They even talked about taking Julie out when she stopped being useful to them, sooo... Anyway, most of the people on the show kept following their own interest, some more than others, sure, but I think the whole "villain" speech was kind of hypocritical and just a way to stir the pot, in order to save first Winnie and then Tolù's spot in the house. I found it a bit distasteful, but it did what it was meant to do, aka get Lindsey eliminated.
The girls should have gotten rid of Jake when they had a chance 🙄 if they had more allies, Lindsay would’ve been on their side so they would’ve ran the house.
If you have ever said “there are no differences between men and women” then this show is for you. This show puts the major differences between men and women front and center. All the women were lying while the men were being honest. All the men only voted for 1 person each. All the women voted for 3 times the amount of the men! The men were just hanging out. The women were constantly worrying about everything and anything that did not matter. They created problems out of thin air. Men are reactionary and women are proactive. The men waited for something to happen before they declared there was a problem that needed to be fixed. The women were making everything a problem so they were trying to plan how to combat problems tbag didn’t even exist anywhere but in their own minds.
I hated when the girls kept judging people for making decisions in the Vault, starting with Juelz, but they were too scared and didn't want to get picked to make those tough decisions.
I think the reason why the guys didn’t do game that much is because of game theory were if you lead with trust and only retaliate when your attacked then forgive you win more than the distrustful or Aggressive players
Y’all saying jake didn’t like her or have her ranked higher in the games but so ? He showed his loyalty to her by sticking by her side through the whole thing and keeping her in the game unlike Winnie who literally said she wanted to remove her solely for getting close to jake lol why out their connection in the open it’s literally why she didn’t want him to show affection or kiss him in front of everyone . Lindsey got outted so easily bc the guys never knew she was suppose to be close with the girls unlike julie who openly close with them ..
He kept her because it is beneficial to his game for multiple reasons. He did not show loyalty, he showed strategy in the game. The dude is a red pill misogynistic and racist content creator. He literally stated in many reels of his on insta that a womans only value lies in her youth(!), procreation capability and something else along these lines. Disgusting. He is literally manipulating everyone with the nice guy narrative in order to win. He's playing a good game, that's for sure.
Jake wants everyone to make it to the end he’s not going out of his way to protect Julie only. He’s only attracted her he don’t want a real relationship with that woman
No they want to cut her because her like Jake would cloud her judgment. Which she was correct about. This man hasn't done anything for her but told her she was cute. Julie has low self-esteem and is insecure.
I am always for my people, however, you are being a bit bias to the degree that you aren’t holding Winnie & Tolu accountable for their unacceptable behavior in the way they spoke to Julie. I get that we are misperceived and easily deemed aggressive. However, they could have articulated themselves in a much more respectful manner, I wouldn’t want anyone speaking to me the way that they spoke to Julie. Also, why wait until your back is against the wall to tell her that you feel like the person she’s building a connection with doesn’t like her if you are a real friend you don’t wait to do that.
I do wish they hadn't approached her like that. But there was time to salvage it. My thoughts were that Winnie should've only spoken to Tolu and if they were smart run with the lie that her offer was really "the grand prize would be increased if they all made one house sacrifice and kicked someone off that wasn't her". Apologize to Julie and acknowledge she's a package deal with Jake, and he's package deal with Brian and Gaspare. Show some loyalty to Mama Jay and then throw Lindsey under the bus with Bryce. It would've at least bought her another day, especially if they played that card (no pun intended) after the poker game when Lindsey had been found out for being a double agent. Now their actions look even more justified.
@@Bree5three I agree with that I would have used Julie and her connection with Jake to my advantage if I was Winnie and Tolu. It never crossed their mind to play the game that way and I wish it would have.

I love the show. Hope they have a season two, but I didn’t like how they excluded tolu in the end. You can tell, there was a clear racial divide. Especially with racist Jake and all.
I disagree there has been no racism shown and it’s Toulu’s fault that she’s in the position she’s in. Winnie and Toulu cannot be cleft to vote people out and not expect other ppl to go after them. Stop being biased
Are we talking about the same guys who were clearly upset when the only black man in the house was voted out? No, there was no racial divide in the house, the guys only keyed in on Tolu and Winnie once they figured out the two women were actually the ones voting people out and were coming for them next.
I clicked on this video thinking okay I would see a black women holding other black women accountable but it is typicaaaal for y'all to defend them even when they are in the wrong. @@TheQueenE It is soo. I really your podcast and after final I would like to discuss a couple of things regarding how women are portrayed.
Mama Jay!!! Our favourite 🙌🏾
@@justjcomedian9058 i sent you a DM on instagram
Oh can’t wait to hear more complaints about the misogynistic behavior as the women create 100% of the issues on the show lol
Yay I just watched this show and went to look for a review and found you did one! 🤩😊Then while I was watching you posted one for the second part! 🎉
Crazy how Lindsey can be mad yell and the boys forgive her and still baby her but when tulu get mad its a problem she have to go
I love winnie and Tolu, it’s nice to see black women play the game like EVERYBODY ELSE DOES TO WIN.
Right! If they were arrogant white guys, they would be praised.
Julie better hope all tht loyalty to Jake is beneficial in the long run..
Would it have served her better with Tolu and Winnie?
@@therantingshop7423 nope !
Girl, I was like you're doing all this for a man. And he's not doing the same thing. It's giving pick me
@@savageworld4622 I was thinking the SAME THING! Winnie tld her the mf truth lol.
@@savageworld4622she’s the worst type of woman
I think its hilarious that literally none of the guys voted until Round 5 when they all said "You know what? Screw it, game on" lol.
me too! i thought that was funny... how suddenly they started strategizing, especially Brian & Gaspare. 😅
Absolutely as soon as they showed a little frustration, they would be pegged as the angry black woman, either by production or the straight black males, the powers that be
What Jake did was not misogynistic it was arrogant
I found some scenes with Lindsey puzzling, like when they caught her on film in the mornings seemingly thinking aloud, or chatting to herself about the gameplay or happenings in the house. 😅
The women who were untrustworthy got their nickers in a knot when they were not ranked higher in regard to their trustworthiness and leadership... rotflmao 😂
How is Julie throwing off her game by aligning with the men? Didnt you hear Tolu and Winnie say they wanted her out. She didn't feel safe and her strategy made sense in her case.
Winnie and Tolu are selfish snakes from day one
Exactly !
Of the room not the game. At least that’s what I thought they meant. But for real they were on a power trip
No, they literally spoke on taking Julie out because they didnt trust her prior to that conversation. @@DonInADress
If they were black men, it would’ve been “they were playing the game” lol
@@TT-xz5sy very few men would go so low as to behave that way.
Yeah he does, for some reason I wasn’t thinking about him and was thinking more about Julie’s lie
Tolu really is unlikeable. She's easily triggered and just mean.
The girls should have gotten rid of Jake when they had a chance 🙄 if they had more allies, Lindsay would’ve been on their side so they would’ve ran the house.
“Sideshow” Bob 😂
@@sarahjoe2457you can’t expect most women to see it, cause most women ARE Julie, women’s weakness for men will always be there downfall.
Omg I been trolling all day to catch this
I am always for my people, however, you are being a bit bias to the degree that you aren’t holding Winnie & Tolu accountable for their unacceptable behavior in the way they spoke to Julie.
She mentioned at @16:27 that they didn't handle the conversation correctly.
@@foreverstriving4u I’m aware of that
I do wish they hadn't approached her like that.
A 100%. I really wanted to root for Tolu and Winnie, but they handled Julie horribly
tolu and winnie r mean girls
Do forget mama jay is a old mean girl she was very mean also
Thank you for pointing out Tolu hypocrisy. She never cared about being a team. She made that clear In episode 1. She’s fake, a liar, and manipulator. I’m really disappointed with how she represented black people.
Just in timeeeeee ! 😅
Jake was a major tool. Don't know if he's a misogynist but he's sure as heck dim to be telling the others he thinks of himself as better in every way lol

I think they picked Jake because they knew Jay would back them vs them voting out anyone else. Julie messed it up for the best alliance on the show
Having grown up in a French Canadian house. I dont think you can get aggressive enough for me to be concerned lol
Can you review singles inferno 😭😭

Interesting how the younger white women could not stay loyal to the women’s pact… it sort of happens this way often so perhaps the other women should learn from this…
Good content 👌🏽
Tolu played well as a snake 🐍 just like she said Lindsey was giving apologies when all of us know those apologies weren’t sincere. We allá know that’s not tolu. And how she make all those faces makes me sick!
Winnie an Tolu dont win im good... Julie smart not to trust them... yeah voted out the first dude

No I fuvking love the hair
I love the show. Hope they have a season two, but I didn’t like how they excluded tolu in the end. You can tell, there was a clear racial divide. Especially with racist Jake and all.
What do you mean, Tolu was the real racist, hypocritical and dishonest.

This show is trash
I clicked on this video thinking okay I would see a black women holding other black women accountable but it is typicaaaal for y'all to defend them even when they are in the wrong. Winnie and Tulu displayed agressive speech/behaviour more a couple times. As black woman myself I felt very much embarrassed AND scared because the way they were trying to manipulate Julie and treating her like a dummy was really uncomfortable to watch.
Julie was a snake why don’t you hold her accountable
