Nice run. Now that the game is out on Steam I can finally enjoy it myself (I don't buy mobile games as a rule, though I did play KR1 on mobile since base game is free). I think 60 hours played 3 days after release was enough of a proof how addicting it is (there might have been 1 or 2 all-nighters and here I'd thought at 35 I was too old for doing all-nighters in a video game) :D By now I'm well into triple digits. I've probably tested all party setups already (extremely surprised by Bravebark/Witch Doctor/Ranger synergy: WD's pull on 2nd level is perfect to get enemies in range of rooted Bravebark for those epic slams and Ranger just takes care of anyone who doesn't want to get close and personal with Mr Tree). Haven't tried a flawless run yet but I've managed a couple of deathless runs (not by trying per se but some party compositions literally are immortal unless you actively screw up the run).
28:27 the encounter looks like a regular troll combat encounter, but it’s on the halfway point between two nodes like an ambush. Stormcloud’s winter almost always has this encounter somewhere on the map, usually in the first half. Like Voduke said, the reward is always the same, so you can guarantee getting an attack up for one of your characters. Who receives it is random, but even if you get it on a relatively bad character, it’s still very much worth getting. Also, I’m gonna have to disagree with what you said at 28:09. Currently you’re probably the best player in the game.
Unfortunately this is not my experience of the game, having just bought it on Steam. Every time, almost without exception, I am faced with something like 7 enemies, having only 3 myself with not a hope in hell of beating them, even to the extent of losing all the characters. Yet all the videos I see and discussions forum seem to imply that this is easy, even too easy. But having done the run on this second map now 20-30 times, I'm just getting the point of giving up, it just seems pointlessly hard, and no different in either casual or normal. But I value this video and the advice that it targets the nearest person. Even that didn't seem to be true on the last try, 7 wolves, in a mission 3 slots into the run, and one wolf ran past the warrior who was nearest, and got the archer, who was one shotted, despite being full health.
Even though this comment is semi-old I'll still give some advice. So for one do you plan out your turns or simply play whatever is happening right then? Simply planning out your next few plays can make your gameplay way better. The ai is rather predictable once you learn it, so it's easy to outsmart it most of the time if you plan ahead.
Also for the multiple enemy problem, you can use bombardier for the dummy that distracts them, the ranger for the vines to stall or the wulf ent for a distraction. Then some tank can take whatever enemies get through while the rest of your team can kill them off. Edit: ice Lance works as well, and the sasquatch works well because stalling let's him heal. And he has like twenty stun abilities
I just pulled off a run of stormcloud's winter completely damageless! I brought Gerald, Ranger, and Bombardier. Picked up the knight along the way, and wow I am finally using Gerald how he should be used!
how does having asra in this game makes sense? in this game youre playing as the good guys. but asra is a vengeance hero, and in that game you play as the bad guys. did she pull a veznan and switch?
I mean, i still need a REAL KINGDOM RUSH sequel, a tower defense, like other games. This game is good, but is not a TOWER DEFENSE that everyone loves...

31:05 why did the soliders counter attack
Their passive ability, Opportunity Attack. Basically, when an enemy tries to run away from them, the soldier will hit that enemy.
I think if you frost lanced your allies they would still take the one fire damage at the end of their turn, if i'm not wrong
Yeah, it would only safe them prior to their own turn in the round, which means I’d have to finish off Iriza within that round to make it useful.
