PLL was the stupidest show I have ever watched it was alright till season 3. I support emison even though the actresses have zero chemistry. They were good in season 1 but all of sudden I felt that Shay couldn't get comfortable with Sasha because of the age difference.

When there’s a PLL movie, Emison will be back together because Marlene said Emison got back together after this whole ordeal.
Marlene could have left Emison alone and focused on the new characters. But no. I'm guessing they want to give Ali a new love interest so goodbye Emily, goodbye their two CHILDREN. You could have had a spin off and left Emison alone. This scene has put me off watching it any longer. If you hadn't messed with Emison, then I would have continued. I liked this - I thought it was pretty genuine and I've really grown to like Ali during The Perfectionists. I HATED her in the show and always figured Emily and Paige should of been the end however I was happy enough with Emily and Ali. I think Alison is growing as a person and having her share so many scenes with Mona was a genius idea! The two of them make amazing friends, oddly enough.

Paige might have started out on the wrong foot but she'd been improving with every season and she was supportive and helpful.
Maya was an ok girlfriend and I'm sure she cared for Emily too. It she was deluded and she held grudges. The way she held that animosity for Emily's mom was unhealthy. Especially since it was her own parents that sent her away so the hate was completely misplaced.
The return is telling of a pattern of behaviour however as since season one she tends to go no contact at the drop of a hat (she did this twice for extended periods of time) and not communicate in general. She blames others for her mistakes but expects everything from Emily. She pushes until she gets her way even pushing past other people's boundaries and when she's happy she's nice but when she's not she takes it out on everyone. And ultimately she's very selfish and while she does nice things for Emily she's not a ride or die like Paige was. Like, Paige was literally at knifepoint for Emily and held no hard feelings towards her. She didn't even bat an eye at her leaving to get help. She encouraged it even, knowing the plan could backfire and they could both die, or that she could be stabbed and she would be alone and powerless after Emily left. She didn't ask her to put her own safety at risk for her though which is where she differs from Maya.

It wasn't that good. I only watched it to see if they got back together. I love sasha and even if they decided to do LDR or had Emily just sort of behind the scenes so you can't see her, if they'd just put them back together I bet the spinoff wouldn't have tanked. Upon their own heads be it

But they're back together now. Marlene confirmed in July 2020 after the show ended Emily and Alison got back together and are stronger than ever.

For me,this is not the end of this couple,it is not possible really. In this new season Emily is not appearing yet (like Alison who had that phase in Pretty little liars),so they must explain why is that and only logical explanation is that they have some marriage problems,for which they are separated (maybe divorced, we still do not know that) and kids are with Emily. But I believe that this is just phase,like most couples Emison also can have some rough time,but they will find again way to each other,they overpassed so many things in past, so I believe in them and thier love,theirs paths can be separated for some time,but they will be united again. Now ,Ali must prove some things to herself,she is so far from her safezone,so this is like a test, but in the end all ways go to the Emily and to the sentance " 'till death do not get us a part".😊

After this, I have come to the conclusion that Alison loves Emily more... Her and Paige had far better chemistry and Ali was a terrible person back then. Will never understand why the writers had to do that.
I don't know that Alison deserved Emily. But Emily absolutely deserved the woman of her dreams! She was so loyal, loved her so hard. She got exactly what she wanted and whether or not we think ali was good enough, it was her choice and the heart wants what it wants.

The show got canceled and they did not end up together in the spinoff. We all pretend they did and someone said that Marlene said they do. But as far as canon, there is not a way for them to fix their marriage since PLL ended and Perfectionists was canceled.
