I'm amused how many russians keep repeating "I'm not engaged in politics, I don't understand anything" or "I'm just a small man, what can I do?". Some of these peoples' hearts are going to bleed when they finally find out the truth, especially the one who believes they are giving humanitarian aid. Who wants to believe that anyone is capable of such inhumanity? Those that are aware know that it will take generations or this to heal if ever and it's still not over yet.

As a Russian, I truly feel sorry that a lot of my fellow people have been zombified by Putler. I really hope we can bring freedom to Russia, eternal peace to Ukraine and the world, and punish the criminals responsible (hint: the entire Russian government). Luckily, I live in the USA so I can express myself however I want. Once again, I hope that war will cease, criminals trialed and executed, and freedom and peace instated.

Both sides are dirty in this war. Theres clearly dead from the Russian occupation. There’s dead from a month of artillery. There’s dead from the Azovs killing Russian sympathisers on the way back through.
There’s video evidence of Ukrainian civilians dead with white arm bands that have been tied up and executed in alleyways, houses, middle of the street.
No one’s paid attention to just how destructive modern war is. The Russians took easily 1000 casualties fighting around Kyiv. They needed mass graves just for their own dead.
When you lump together the Russian casualties. The accidental casualties. The indiscriminate artillery casualties and the Azov executions. It’s a horrific death toll. But they’re not all a Russian Massacre. It’s just being labelled that way to make you hate the Russians. To start ww3. Don’t buy into this ‘never again’ bulshit.
The Russians always knew they were going to leave Kyiv. They only took 40,000 men to Kyiv.
Against a population of 3,500,000.
In Mariupol they’ve taken over 80,000 men. To fight 14,000 Ukrainian forces.
To take Kyiv they would have needed 250,000 men just to blockade it.
They would not have been stupid enough to commit a mass murder of an entire town and leave the Ukrainians evidence on their retreat.

I think they just want to avoid trouble. As a person who lives in Vietnam (also an authoritarian country) I understand them. Freedom of speech is a joke. Saying a single "wrong" thing can risk their entire lives and careers. It's very scary. Most Americans and Europeans don't understand this, they are priviledged to be able to criticise the government openly without being fined, arrested or beaten in jail. Today, a friend of my wife (who is from Ukraine) lost both of her parents today in the missile strike on the rail station in Kramatorsk. She doesn't have grandparents, or any other relatives. Just two days ago, my grandmother-in-law left Kramatorsk using that station, and a couple weeks ago was my mother in law. That station is the only way in or out of the city for the most part. Since Kramatorsk is considered a strategic location, it is likely to become a battleground as the remaining population will be forced to fight for their survival.
Bucha is not an isolated incident, these atrocities are peppered across the country. Under my conscience, the deniers are equally as guilty as the 'soldiers' committing these actions.
The parallels are just too real like when Nazi Germany was rising.

The only good thing that I can see from this video is that nearly all of the people who think that the war crimes are propaganda are mostly old people who get their information from the television. It's good to be sceptical - Ukraine of course makes propaganda to keep the Citizen's encouraged and to generate support internationally. But some things are hard to fake (video meta data and satellite images and eye witnesses speak against a fake masacre).
Russia is heading for totalitarianism if you aren't careful - you never know when you will be deemed 'dangerous' even if in the beginning uou are a model citizen. Remember what happened with Stalin... the purges, the children turning in their parents, the disappeared, the corruption. It gets easier and easier to have problems and harder to get back freedoms you take for granted now. If you are in Russia, of course, maybe you aren't!

You said that perfectly. Really good observation. Until I read that I was just thinking why are Russians so wierd and don't care at all. But what you wrote helped to put it all in context. Thumbs up 👍 We have a lot of Russians here in Miami and I've never understood them. Not sure why, I just don't understand their culture I guess. If ypu have any insight on them please share. I think American iced Russians are different than ones in Russia also. They seem very cold but can be overly hot also all at the same time lol.
