I almost always take a red item. I dress mostly in black and white (and sometimes grey) so red is a great way to alleviate that when I'm getting sick of my wardrobe. Also, red is great for travelling during Christmas period. I'm also moving more towards those extremely lightweight button down shirts due to the versatility
I just got back from 2 weeks in Tuscany (first part of Oct) it rained about half the time. I brought 2 sweaters and a light rain jacket…but I really wished I brought my travel puffy jacket. Once it starts raining in 50 degree weather I got cold. I’ll know better next time no matter what.
You just reminded me of that scene in Under The Tuscan Sun where they get off that tour bus in Florence and it's bucketing rain and they have those red umbrellas 😊 But I'm sure the reality was freezing and miserable 😏 Be prepared for sure
I have the Voinic loafer in tan and they are the best!!! I wore them all over Greece then the following year, I wore them again from Amsterdam to Malta. I'm going to order them in black - just waiting for a sale! I love your videos, thank you!
I have several pairs of Vionic shoes. Always very supportive, even the flip-flops. And they somehow look more elevated than the equivalent class. Amazing for a podiatric shoe brand! (However, I am currently trying to transfer into barefoot shoes and working on my foot strength)
Would you consider doing a backpack only packing list for 6 weeks in Ireland and Scotland in mid-April to the end of May? Im headed there next year. Will be doing lots of walking and a few nights out.
I love my Chacos, but they are way too heavy for packing light. I keep them at home for kayaking. Actually, the Time & Tru sport sandals from Walmart are super light and grippy. Not sure of the quality yet...
I love your suggestions on clothing. You are always spot on. Thanks. And thanks for introducing me to Tom Bin. (In previous videos).

Your packing is always an inspiration for dressing flowy and fun!

Thanks. I will be there next year about the same time.

I recently found a white linen jacket similar to yours at a thrift shop for $4.00!
Gotta love that!
Yeah, denim is far too heavy for travel imo. I've totally moved away from that

Geox is an Italian brand and they have awesome walking flats. I bought some on eBay.
Thank you xoxo

Thank you for this video. I would like to see these outfits on as well. How do you launder them?
Will wear spring and summer clothes for the trip to Morocco in July of next year
Great tips. Would these choices work for Northern Italy in early April? First timer here.
Yes, I’d probably add an extra sweater and drop the sandals. Definitely bring a waterproof jacket and warm layers.
I will be in Italy in mid November - Tuscany region primarily. Trying to decide about a coat or sweater. What would be your advice?
A lightweight down jacket would be perfect. Layers will also help, it can be chilly in the evening.
Your the best
I love your packing videos. You’ve inspired me to pack light but not sacrifice.
Never understand how you can bring so many shoes and a pillow!
