I thought it was our worst Europa performance of the league stage. Against Lyon we had chances to score 3 or 4 ourselves and Lyon on the night just played above their current level. But obviously there are some reasons why with players out beforehand then dropping like flies during the game. Yet despite that we were a few minutes away from a point. Man U were poor also given the players they have on paper. Bigger picture though we have more points than most expected given the tough fixture draw we got and are already qualified for the play off round. Would still like to see us put in a good display and win v USG though to finish as high as possible. Top 8 although still possible, is highly unlikely given how many results would need to go our way.

Jefte and Yilmaz our two LB's for me. On the right we have Sterling and Tav. Tav I would like to see much less of. He was roasted for the entire first half which to be honest was and is expected no matter who he is up against. He played much better when moved to RCB where he didn't have any one on one moments to show him up..
The bench was extremely limited and lightweight for a European campaign to progress with. Let’s hope the board take heed as we can’t rely on Balogun to give us 90mins but overall the squad is creeking badly.
The squad was creeping for various reasons. We do have plenty of talent but most are injured (again) or not included in the squad when in was selected 4 or 5 months ago.
