Hiking Glendora Mountain: San Gabriel Mountains (Angeles National Forest), Glendora, CA.
Since I was in the area, following a visit to Johnstone Peak, I decided to economize on gas and take the short drive to Glendora Mountain. After dodging the many bike riders and motorcyclists on Glendora Mountain Road, I then had the hike to myself up the firebreak. The trail was overgrown, but the hike was short. Good weather and good views helped to propel me along. As always, the hike was worth the effort (especially in long pants).

Looks like you cut your own trail there. I was wondering at the beginning. Looked like dead reckoning.

Fortunately, I was there before, so I knew where to go. I was surprised with how it got overgrown so quickly.
