The upcoming class? Naa. Every NCAA stat this year needs a MASSIVE asterisk. Keep that in mind before evaluating talent.
Lawrence is great, but I have a lot of reservations about the rest of the QB class.
Lmao how did i know Klatt was gonna dismiss Daniel Jones. Collin loves darnold bc he died on that hill before the draft and Klatt is a college hypebeast so he never even acknowledge Daniel Jones at Duke
Daniel Jones is nothing compared to Lawrence
Mainly because you also know Jones isn’t good.
I love hearing the praise for Trevor now 2 years ago boy was it different
How are you talking college football and not talking about Auburn vs Georgia this week...?
Georgia’s QB is Stetson Bennett. Auburn’s QB is a Heisman candidate. No competition for Auburn.
@@AuburnFanSince2010 heisman candidate lol
Him and Nick are my favorite guests
I might be wrong but it seems I’m the only guy that doesn’t think Trevor Lawrence isn’t that great....
Better than Burrow, Kyler, and Baker.
He’s one of the most talented QB’s to ever come out. His arm talent is ridiculous and he has sneaky speed and athleticism. He’s like Cam Newton with a little less power in his running but more arm strength.
Your not the only one every year we get the same hype, we'll see how great he is when his supporting cast aren't potential 1st rounders
@@browmaster2197 I would say hes like an Andrew Luck with a better arm
These guys make good content.
The Jets should absolutely not hire a college coach. -Me the Jet fan
Who should they hire in your opinion? I find the idea of hiring Eric The enemy from the chiefs as head coach, exciting, along with pairing him with Vic fangio at defensive coordinator, and taking Trevor Lawrence number one overall. Trading Sam Darnold to the Steelers. Also spending the remaining picks building around Trevor, and filling obvious holes. They should go all in on offensive line and receiver in the draft after Lawrence.
@@samrosendahl392 Texans fan here we call dibs on Beinemy
6:05 yes, Anticipation.
Yeah dwight schrute has been seeing too many ghosts
JaxTown cant unsee it now
Could hear these two talk football all day
The Jets could get Patrick Mahomes and still suck with Adam Gase as head coach
Thats just not true, Peyton had success despite Gase.
Wrong.
@@zacbouch42 OC and And Head coach are COMPLETELY different beasts.
The only weakness with Trevor is that he doesn’t play amazing talent week in and week out. He’s amazing but that’s the only weakness I could think of, but overall he’s going to have an amazing nfl career!
Amazing!
@Kyle Corbitt not if he gets drafted by the jets. I don’t care how good he is. The jets are a terrible franchise.
Good to see Colins Daddy on this fine Wednesday
So nice of Colin to bring his dad on the show so often!
Heyy jets do you want Matt stafford give us darnold and a future 1st
No
Thats a horrible trade for detroit
@@antoniocaballero3976 Not really, is still a 1st and they could get away with the expensive Matt Stafford's contract to get a QB in rookie contract with 3 years left including a 5th year option
Both team are dumpster fire why would they want Matt and his 30+ million cap hit? Bears give you 6th rounder and Mitch.
stafford for darnold and 12 first round picks
3 times in the last few years I've randomly turned on a Texas game, and Ehlinger has been really impressive each time. Doesn't seem like he will ever be a top 10 NFL qb, but he could be in bottom half of starters imo
Trade Darnold for a lot of draft picks!?!? Lol
Klatt saying he is Colins mentor within his first sentence is gold. This is what a sports Personality is, someone that believes in themselves and speaks their mind. Not whatever persona Nick Wright is being told to force.
Bring in Josh Rosen as the Jets' QB, so we'll at least have lox and bagels available at the games.
Nice to see Colin's father back in the studio, its been a while
Wait Denver is already thinking about giving up on Drew Lock? I thought he was the savior?
Parker Hoff as a Denver fan.... he’s good. Just Trevor is a different beast
Drew Lock will be back in a few weeks. They still got a lot of talent around them. They won’t get the number 1 pick. Jets will get it because the whole team is awful especially coach Gase
We live in the times of social media. Even after last season there were some "fans" who said we should draft a qb because he didn't play well against the Chiefs. People love overreacting.
However, if he comes back in a few weeks and he is so bad that we actually get the first overall pick, Lawrence is the better option
Smart Denver fans never said that. Some people are ridiculous. He has potential to be good, but there's nothing there to tell us he'll ever be great
Dominik S. I don’t think drew lock will be bad at all, he’s only in his second year and hasn’t played a full year yet. I think he’ll be a good solid QB. We’ll see in the future if he’ll be great
Ehlinger got that it factor that Tebow had, but he can throw. That's huge, and you can't miss out on that.
No point in drafting Trevor no one is succeeding on the Jets
SIR LAWERENCE DOESN;t NEED WEAPONS HE IS THE WEAPON. ARRIVAL
Clever...
@@jeffreyabbey9592 much appreciated
Remember when Collin said Wentz was a top 5 QB. Ugh
Dude, Colin literally wanted to marry Wentz and/ or Darnold.
WENTZ IS
Philly has no O line. Not even Brady could save that tire fire.
Jesus, giving up on Wentz already? I get it, my team is stuck with Mathew Scott Mitchel Stafford 🥺
@simon cohen Could you really? Goff has such a better team then Wentz. If you gave Goff that roster he'd look like Flacco on the Broncos.
You have no O line. Half your roster is injured. What do you expect? The QB to just ascend the astral plane and pretend he's god? Wentz is doing the best he can with the garbage he has to work with.
After last year and your team being trash, I thought the calls for Wentz would be over with. Philly really does have the worst fans in every sport...
Klatt + Cowherd is the duo
Please god no don’t want to see Adam gase ruining another amazing player
Adam gase will be fired before the end of the season
@@samrosendahl392 The front office of the JETS is the worst in the NFL, so don't be shocked if Gase keeps his job or if the jets hire another carp coach
simon cohen they are tanking for Trevor
WirelessJoeJackson it’s amazing how inept they are
The Jets need about 22 draft picks and a new coach....then they might be competitive.
Yes Trevor Lawrence have a weakness he do not throw with anticipation and you put pressure on him he Folds watch the tape. Is he good yes but all young QB'S have flaws.. To much hype...
Put pressure on ANY QB and they fold like a cheap suit. See Mahomes in the Super Bowl for details.
Congrats on 900k Colin!
what a baad question to ask haha "does Lawrence have any weaknesses". what????
its hard to judge a guy when he has alot of talent around him...I like to see him when he is surrounded by average talent...this is why alabama QB's dont amount to much in the NFL.
Klatt is a top 3 College football analyst. Maybe the best.
Lawrence should tell the NY teams he will go back to Clemson for his Senior year if they draft him. They'll just waste him.
I rather being deployed in Vietnam than playing for the Jets haha.
rns
Won’t matter lol jets and giants will be trash the year after
Colin hit 900K subscribers.....big ups.
The haul for Darnold 3 7th and a supplemental pick.
TCU vs Texas will be a fun one to watch!
Darnold has worse stats then Mariota, Bortles, and Trubisky. He's a bust, of course you take Lawrence.
Nah, he’s far more talented than any of those guys. He’s like somewhere between a bust and a breakout star. Truth is he’s talented but flawed and regressing/struggling
Darnold is less talented physically then all 3 guys he mentioned, you can't be serious or maybe you just listened to Colin and never seen Darnold play at USC or with the Jets?
All 3 of those guys have stronger arms and more mobility than Sam and had better numbers at the same point in their careers...
Where does all this love for Darnild come from, dude is a scrub... Wake up my dude
Colin & Klatt are like Kobe & Shaq! Great segment!!!
Im the best president of all time
Monica Lewinsky agrees
😂
Abe Lincoln would like to have a talk
Wrong teddy rose
the best father son duo
Not sure about a "haul" but should definitely get a high 2nd and 3rd maybe considering teams know they won't keep both QBs.
Not even a Jets fan, but Darnold clearly isnt the problem. The guy got talent. It’s definitely the team around him...
Why doesn’t Colin make Klatt do the upset of the week? That was always my favourite part of him coming on
Klatt immediately establishes dominance as he comes on set.
