Your Mom is A STAR!! I’m watching all your vids of you with your so sweet Mama!! Omg. Such a cute smile. Wait!!! I just heard her say, she’s 86?!! God bless her!!!
Wow 🤩 I think it’s so beautiful the bond between Mother & child I love ❤️ these types of videos melts my heart that you share the same love for jewelry
She does have beautiful eyes. I know how hard it is to see the marks. The conversation between you and your Mom is so wonderful to listen to. Thanks for sharing your treasures.
Your Mymom is so cute 🥰! (Mymom is a reference to a cute animated film called, 'Home'.) My Mymom passed in 2020 a week before the pandemic. She was 91. I miss her. I inherited a lot of her beautiful vintage jewelry from the 40's - 60's. She also had some beautiful cocktail rings her 2nd husband gifted her.
I love it when you have your Mom on with you. I see where you get your eye for jewelry from. Really enjoyed the video and can't wait to see more. Thank you.
Sandra, don't forget to look inside the bail. A lot of companies mark their jewelry there. Girl Scouts uses a trefoil, Boy Scouts use the Fleur de LIS. 💖🌹💍💎
Greetings again and sorry about shouting earlier...my caps lock was on. Your lovely Chinese export bracelet is Silver Vermeil. I sold one for about $260.00 last year but had it posted for at least a month. Nice find and I agree wholeheartedly with your policy concerning your cleaning friend.
Hi Sandra and Mum, that pearl ring with 6 claws. I think that is real gold, but l noticed that the prongs are a little damaged and l'd bet the pearl is loose too. Often when the rings are getting old, the glue breaks down. If the pearl were to be taken out and the glue cleaned out, it can be re-glued with Araldyte (assuming you have that, its an epoxy 2 part glue). I adored the kitty cat charms/pendants. You could keep those if you are nuts about cats like me. Love from Melbourne. Xx By the way, if you wish to sell the kitty charms, let me know how much and l could perhaps buy them for my daughter Jodie and l, only the gold though. Please let me know, l cant do auction though.
@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter Hi Sandra, having difficulty with your email address. It keeps coming up as invalid. Can you please give me the exact address, with full stops etc so l can send you my email. I have been trying different options but having no luck. Thanks, Janice.
Goooood! Most of the jewelry was manufactured in Providence Rhode Island, so a lot of it is still in the area. Also, it’s one of the oldest areas of the country. Thanks a ton for watching!!
A book i reference to sometimes is American Jewelry Manufacturers. Its full of hallmarks. Ill be honest i don't have to refer to it that often but it provides answers when online fails. The book has other good info too. Kinda pricey
Looks vintage middle eastern. I think most likely Persian Turquoise. The stone can be replaced with a tracing of the mounting can then have a slightly larger stone cut to a close fit and mounted.
I was going to tell you I saw a mark on the side of the pendant with the icky stuff on the “pearl” but I see someone already told you, so instead I will say congratulations 🎉yay mom did it again 🎉 She’s so sweet. You are so very blessed in the mama department ❤
THIS MAY WORK FOR MOM OR NOT, BUT ITAKE 2 STURDY PINS OR NEEDLES, SET THE SNARLED CHAIN ON THE TABLE, AND GENTLY SPREAD OUT THE TANGLES. WORKS EVERY TIME. YOU CAN ALSO COME BACK TO IT LATER....
That Gold Bogart at the Auction has a good strategy and it is working for him…Everyone needs to bid up on the Gold since he will still buy it at any price…But why give in to him and let him get all the deals on the Gold? At least make him pay a bit more.
They make these long, thin, bendy needles for crafting that would be great for this as they are thin and will fit most chains bendy so you don't break anything you are working on and long so you can hold on without much trouble.
Mom's looking great! By the end of the video she seemed ready to put you in a corner 🤣🤣🤣. I'm hoping to hit a jackpot soon. I got lucky a couple times last year, so my fingers remain crossed! Can't wait to see what else you ladies brought home!
How exciting to find all that wonderful jewelry! Do you and your mother go where jewelry is listed in the yard sale ad? Do you often find jewelry and it wasn't listed?
It dependS. Sometimes I feel like the ones that advertise jewelry will be swarmed with jewelry people…. But we find it often at sales that didn’t mention it for sure. And we almost ask “do you have any jewelry”. Once in a while somebody goes into the house and pulls some out for us!!! Thanks for watching and happy hunting!
Hi! I love when you have your Mom on with you!! You should take her to Las Vegas!! As always, your content is amazing!! Congratulations on all the gold.
Sandy I have a question how would you clean this stuff? I'm always afraid I'm going to ruin it if I clean it but some of it really needs to be cleaned up before I try listing it.
The jewelry? I have a video on how to clean jewelry by the way, but I’m general - water is not your friend if the piece has stones! I lightly dampen a small paint brush and if that doesn’t work, I may go up to a small soft toothbrush. I get a bit more aggressive if needed, but tread carefully. It’s important to dry afterwards - a hair dryer on low temp works well. Hope this helps! Good luck. 🍀
Sandy that nesting doll is too darn cute I think you could get a lot more than 25 for it. I have nesting dolls in my eBay store right now for like 30 you should try asking $50 you can always work your way down that is too cute with The mouse and the last one adorable!
FYI chains should be fasten so they won't tangle as bad all knots will come out no matter how fine it is. If not fasten use a flat surface and a straight pin and work the knot out most knots will come out even on fine chain if your patience

Yes.
If you put talcum powder on the tangled chains then use a large safety pin to untangle it helps..

Enjoyed this video so much. Love your mom! Were you saying New England and the northeast are a good area for vintage jewelry? Or NOT a good area?

Wow amazing way to go Mum she is still good at spotting gold
Yeah she’s got skills!!! Lol! Thank you so much.
I saw three charms, the bear and 2 cat charms that have the script M a. I believe that's for Michael Anthony and so that adds $ to the value.
Yes, and I think that was/is sold on QVC! I love that name brand! Thanks for watching and thanks for your input. Hugs.
Sandra, a lapidiarist could cut a piece of turquoise to fit that bracelet. PS Give Mum my love, she is lovely!
Good to know, but sure it would worth the price tho. Cheers, thanks so much for watching!

use a needle to untangle the thin chains.
We will try that, she was using that stick pin a bit on them. They are super delicate… thanks Samantha!
