He speaks very good English for someone with French as a first language.
His first language is actually flemish (dutch), he was born in antwerp
MCBank17 very well spoken guy, but he is not the only who had that Road
@Pep's Disciple very tough

Hearing this story, just makes want to have a look at myself and tell myself "eat some concrete and harden up"
Under appreciated
Je bent een voorbeeld . Ik heb altijd in je gelooft. Je bent mijn duivel aller tijden . Groeten uit bottelare
Much respect bro what a touching story all praise to Allah
So happy to hear about what he achieved and what hard times he went through to achieve his goal, really inspirational
I’m happy 😃 for him. May you prosper more.
Didn't know Lukaku was that poor
Many are but we never know. I respect players because someway & somehow they overcame a struggle to be at whatever level they’re at.
What we should really be talking about is how the fuck we allow people to be that damn poor. For every Lukaku that succeeded, how many others have failed? What happened to them?
Aquificae it is a intriguing question, but i hope if Lukaku retire, will not going have a downfall
@@mossakehdjoshobouillant2149 well if you look back how his dad Roger Lukaku spend his money much and lacking of nursering his 2 sons but he play in a lower division while the income is low for him as a result of "bad investment" he was impulsive to take care of his income
As the Bible says, the end of a thing is more important than the beginning. There's no better motivation than an empty stomach. People like Pogba and Lukaku grew up in poverty. but today they are multi millionaires. They are great examples for upcoming kids on never giving up in life but sadly instead of being admired envious people and those who do not know their story keep on hating on them.
John Eminah but those 2 are not the only one Who had that Road from poverty to the top
alex kanyima , they're one of many but these two attract a lot of unfair criticisms due to their direct African heritage.
All the Brazilian footballer grew up in worst conditions. Look at Marcelo’s life and other Brazilian players.
Anderson Portillo true
alex kanyima so what's your point
I could relate to him. I never liked breakfast, because growing up below the poverty line I always looked forward to lunch or dinner.
WOw inspiring ....all the best
united will miss you rom
Big man 👏🏽🙌🏽
Love you
I love you bro
@6! That's priceless!
Big Rom 🙌🏼
Thanks for uploading!
Can you guys upload the full video?
Respect
God am still adding water to my milk. Fuck now I know am broke. But still am grateful. I used to have no shoes on for many many years
where u from bro
Screw Brazil; I’m rooting for Belgium now.
Lol
Nice
He scored 2
Lukaku es un crack!
Now Imagine Zlatan Coming here and doing this interview
Both grew up poor & both are legends in my eyes rom maybe needs a couple more years buy he’ll forsure be up there
So how much was his dad making as a pro footballer then? Makes you wonder why he didn’t go out and get a proper job to support his family.. why didn’t his mother work?
So many questions.
Well his dad "spoils his money" for not taking care of his sons, bad investment and his mom work part time but not that long which means Roger Lukaku did'nt understand financially to have a good wealth and he did'nt play in big clubs and his earnings was like 200 euro or 100 euro per game
@@superlex611 nice fantasy
@@tomclaes4141 it is true dumbass
He played in the lower division of Belgian soccer where you literally earn minimum wage salary. So he was a poor man’s pro
@@Kimo22425 true
yo i want a documentary
yahhh i understand poverty can kill your dream but poverty in resources rich countries and where there is freedom is simply a good fate to climb high in the sky.

Belgium going all da way bitch.
Poverty?? His dad was a pro footballer... in the days who makes a lot off money...
HunterMagpie just because you're a pro doesn't mean you're making bank. You can be pro in 6th division and make only a couple hundred per game
So what are you saying, that he's lying? Fuck off.
He certainly made up for not being able to afford to eat
He's another a example of the rise.
He is from Congo but plays for Belgium?? Lool joking
Frank Russell He was born in Belgium
Lmao didn't u hear what he said? He said that he's of Congolese descent. That means his parents were from congo, not him
work on your touch man ffs
Overconfidence
Thats just good man !
He's seriously deluded about how good he thinks he is versus how effective he is in reality. I always knew I was a goalscorer... You're not though. You're not that good and you're at your peak now so it's not going to improve either
stfu
I voted down this insubordinate remark
Watch him prove u wrong
Owura Yeboah he is very young he can still improve
funny i read that the amount of goals he has scored, messi and ronaldo didn't have that amount when they wee his age, last time i checked Lukaku is the first player since Diego Maradona in 1986 to score two goals or more in consecutive World Cup mat back to back, last time i checked he broke the Belgium all time scoring record ,and if he was not good at scoring goals he would no have achieved all this ,and he would not have been a striker, look it up,know your facts before you talk shit
