Wow!! Thank you for bringing out a very good memory of these streets on the island.. This is actually LAGOS ISLAND not the lekki and other areas they tagged Lagos island this days.. That being said @ 31:13 I was born and breed at the now demolished building on your left hand side, that is Number 89/91 Okepopo street (Jakande Compound) .. The moment you turn right, those are AGBOLE INOSA, AGBOLE ALAGBEDE, WORO IYA AJĘ , ORORI OSHODI and so on 😂😂. @ 51:45.. The name of that street is called OBUN-EKO / OJU OLOBUN.. Thank you once again for this amazing video. ❤❤❤
Thanks bosss
Nice one
The government need to something about this place, I mean the roads and the buildings need to be renovated they are sor dirty
The things they done on the land, killing people for money, now God is paying Nigeria.
Lagos Island is where the indigenes of Lagos settled/live, specifically Isale Eko/ Ebute Ero/ Olowogbwo/Broad Street and Marina. The Oba’s palace (Iga Idugauran) is off Adeniji-Adele Rd.
The original residents on Broad Street and Marina were re-located to New Lagos (popularly known as Surulere) in the 40s/50s) to make room for the Colonial Govt offices and the Central Business District. LEDB (Lagos Executive Devt Board) now LSDPC thus built the houses around Shitta,/ Masha/ Stadium / Barracks /Ogunlana drive to resettle the people.
Thank you
it brings about memory of life in lagos island in the 80s
