I’m 61. Kayak fishing for decades. I stay out sometimes as much as eighteen hours. Never do I stand and hate peddle drives. I presently use( paddle ) SeaGhost 130 and Cobra Fish n Dive. I like the Fish n Dive Better however the SG130 is an excellent yak !!! I can’t think of any other yak I would own unless I went trolling motor specific ! Then I would go Bonifide SS127, not a good paddler but fantastic for trolling motor setup
Thank you for the video.. my main drawback was the console. I'm usually on the water for extended hours so I like to stand. I think you just sold me a kayak!

I absolutely love this thing the few times I’ve had it out. It does well on flat water, and surprisingly seems to do even better when there’s some chop on the water.
I just got one, can’t wait to take it out!
I bought mine on the 10th . I got the new slate blue color. I can’t wait to get out on the water!

Thanks for the great video. I'm a noob myself who's trying to get into kayaking. Not sure if the sea ghost is noob friendly but I've decided to make it my first kayak. Unfortunately, I can't find any supplies in Northern NJ. Bummer but I'll wait and see. Really want this.
I just started kayaking this year and the vibe SG 110 is my third kayak. The first kayak was OK but I quickly upgraded to something I could stand in, it was nice but just a pain to transport because of its weight. The Sea Ghost 110 is great and will last you a while. Great quality, stability, comfort and lots of useful features so you won't have to upgrade anytime soon. For the stability and size I don't think you'd find another kayak at this weight (62 lbs) without paying an arm and a leg. Vibe SG 110 is the way to go. vibe tribe ALLDAY!
Love my 2019 galaxy 🌌 vibe sea ghost 110. I've got a custom trolling motor setup and fish finder on mine.
Can this be fitted with a trolling motor? Sorry for noob question. But I’m very much a noob lol
@@hal3745 yeah it can be modded with a little diy for a trolling motor. Vibe also have bixpy jet motors

Nice review, I’m looking for my first kayak as well. I think you said vibekayaks? So what is the rudder for if you steer and accelerate only using your paddle? Also if your in a moving river is there a way to anchor it? Thanks
The rudder is good for when you have high winds and are trying to go straight. As you move forward, the wind will push you in one direction while the rudder has the stern helping you push into the wind, allowing you to move pretty straight. There are awesome tutorials of this on RUclips.

Interesting, in the beginning of the video when showing the kayak you have a trolley system installed then when showing the kayak it isn't there. Not busting, I'm installing the same system tomorrow on my SG110.

Can you add a wireless trolling motor to this? Like the motor guide?
I believe that's a stand assist rope not a paddle leash.i could be wrong

What kind of jeep do you have? What did you use to tie it down?
Erica Fugate Jeep Commander. I just use the factory rails with foam wrapped around them for my roof mount. I actually load it perpendicular to my roof and swivel it into place. I bought a couple of tiedowns straps From Harbor freight and they seem to work well.
